Isn't it all this just a psychosis

Do not confuse Awakening with mental illness.

If you have mental health issues, please see a therapist.

Also, it's possible to have both.

There are certainly cases that are dysfunctional and require some kind of external help. Though that distinction must be done by the one experiencing those states, as long as he's not harming others, of course.

That being said, on the other hand I think it's not as clear-cut as: This is Awakening, this is psychosis, but way more complex.

If we could handle many cases - maybe even most - differently, I'm sure it would open up great possibilities for mankind. There are areas of the psyche that remain greatly unexplored precisely because of that distinction and the fear of permanent insanity.

"Illness" is something a body has, not a psyche. I'd rather call it "dysfunctionality".

Treating those people as merely "ill" creates that fear-based reality and makes it more difficult to trust other people with those topics, isolating them more and making them seem even more ill. There are far too few places in our society that have a fearless approach with those things.

I think the worst cases of insanity - even someone like Connor Murphy - could be prevented by precisely not immediately labeling them insane, but finding ways of handling difficult spiritual states and having communities - that are not just "insane asylums" or the like - where they can integrate, making true healing finally a possibility.

Good spirituality (as in spirituality done correctly) is the opposite of psychosis rather.

Listen to me. Isn't whole spirituality just psychosis.Psychosis is losing connection with reality.

You guys hold beliefs like I am God, delusions of grandeur. Solipsism, only my consciousness exist, others have no experience of their own. Those are all delusions. So enlightenment is losing touch with reality so it's not different than psychosis.

I want you to visit and tell psychiatrist about these beliefs and get anti psychotic medication.

Spirituality is letting go of your mental structures and being open to the actual, to what is, the living reality.

It's not about learning a new cosmology, but about breaking down the barriers that prevent you to do this.

Spirituality is an action, not a realization, and that action isn't easy because your entire system is oriented in the opposite direction by default.

Thank you, found it. I thought that was just for me not for everyone.

What you're asking about is purely psychosis and not spirituality or enlightenment, spirituality has no connection to a self or life. Spirituality has never been discussed on this forum nor can it really be discussed, certainly there would be no point in discussing spirituality, lol, all these people on here trying to explain to other people that they're not a person, a bunch of mental illness being spread around.

During psychosis, the brain can create experiences that feel deeply meaningful and completely real.

I prefer seeing through rather than letting go of one's mental structures, because reality contains the mental structures.

Yes I mean letting go the mental structures at will for a while, mental structures are necessary. The point is making them transparent as you said

I have to add something that I've missing. A lot of spirituality will terrorize the ego in many ways. And that is not necesarily a mistake, but a requisite for grow. Like it can feel you're going insane. But diamonds are created through insane pression.

I still want to diferentiate from full blown psychosis because you can't come out of that one without medications commonly.
