I think this sex is possibly one of the most difficult and challenging topics to approach earnestly.

But yeah this is also why I take users in good faith, unless there is a real systemic repeated pattern of uncharitable dialogue.

That makes sense. I think there is a tendency to downplay our self-deceptions and biases towards sex because it is ”such a low function” compared to the serious work - but that’s precisely the danger.

Thank you for your patience and compassion.

I appreciate this being raised. Very, very much appreciate it.

Respect to Leo, the mods and all my fellow dudes who treat me as an equal ❤️‍🔥

It's sort of weird being TOLD how I work. How I am. With little platform to ask me questions about women and how they work. I am often, as a woman, painting as being unconscious to myself 🥹 very odd

It’s the same struggle Emerald and Etheral Cat went through here, and probably many other female members. Also probably the reason they all left.

Back then I was still too biased to see, and also not an active member yet to be commenting.

But now, I rather not see the same mistake being repeated, especially as you are one of the higher quality posters here. It seems Leo has learned his lesson and was able to take the feedback properly based on his responses here.

Much love.

I didn’t meant it sexist at all.

Men are shallow. Women are shallow. Humans are shallow.

None of those statements are sexists. Because I was talking about women and that is why I said women.

At the end saying humans are shallow can be hurtful to some people. So in that case we would have to sacrifice truth for the sake of some people’s emotions. And there are always some butt hurt people around.

Nobody’s emotions should be top priority.

@Natasha Tori Maru we love you ❤️ you do a great job!

We just try to figure out this complicated subject, and sometimes we fail at it. It is the one subject the almost nobody gets it right. Nether the conservatives nor the progressives.

I am a progressive, but when I see how miserably progressives fail at this subject, at building good men and implicitly hurting women, I get mad.

@Miguel1 @Alexop cuddle puddle :x

Mistakes happen.

It's been great watching how some users have grown - me too. This spot of the internet really helped me understand the unique challenges men face. Lots of my biggest areas of growth were seeing through my own bias in this arena.

But even this isn't the truth, despite the backpedaling.

Not all humans are shallow.

It's difficult to talk about gender dynamics in mixed-sex company in general.

Everyone's biases and agenda comes out.

Okay. What should I change?

Put more nuances in your short content on blog i think trying to avoid sentences that can be understand as overgeneralisation like "women are X" more of "women are more prone to X cause Y"
We know that you mean lot of nuances but a lot of people don't get it and misuse your teachings

Maybe we are all quite still unconscious to ourselves, because our body is scheming us to survive, constantly creating in our brains self justifying narratives to what is the case.
it takes a "suicidal/unfearful honesty" to find what makes us truly work, and that aswell could be more deception, because that's the nature of the mind.
