I have a theory on how to win against Argentina: never score first and wait until the last couple of minutes to score your winning goal.

He made the two assists and he was the leader of attacks most of the time. I'm a ronaldo fan but messi is something else.

Don’t bring Ronaldo in . Ronaldo now is a striker who depends on the whole team to deliver him tap-ins in the box . Unfortunately he lost his speed and dribbling ability. But he still can be a powerful clutch shooter and score bangers and bicycle kicks and things like that . 
Messi on the other hand is a playmaker who carries the whole team on his shoulders and somehow manage to be a goal scoring machine simultaneously . He obviously lost his speed because he’s 40 now but still have his expectional ball control and playmaking abilities.  
During their prime when both were in Spain in Barca and Madrid I used to watch them both but I was a Ronaldo fan . And I’m still a Ronaldo fan . But there is something that needs to said :Messi is literally gifted from GOD as the most talented player ever . Ronaldo is obviously talented be he worked on himself to create the player he is . And this is a point towards Ronaldo . They both have exceptional qualities. Ronaldo’s headers and bicycle kicks and long shot rockets for example are something Messi can never imitate . Likewise Messi’s dribbling ability and play making ability is something Ronaldo can never imitate.

Why Messi is Messi is a confluence of especially two things: high IQ meaning pattern recognition and high processing speed, and short legs that are quickly maneuverable. Together, they create a person who can create the lines that seem impossible, because he has the IQ to process them and the speed/maneuverability to perform them.

I mostly only follow soccer during the world cup, but from these clips it seems that perhaps Messi in his prime was even better than Maradona in some ways.

Final today . Argentina vs Spain . What do you guys predict ? The final has its own rules. Not always the better team wins or the team who has more odds of winning. I remember the dramatic final last time . I predict Spain winning 60% and Argentina winning 40%.

I find that unrealistic. Spain will score . The winning team is not going to win with any leading score higher than 1 goal . But we’ll see.

You know very well that this doesn’t apply to a World Cup final. It’s not like Spain is going to thrash Argentina 5-0 or something lol . It’s Gonna be a clash back and forth from both sides. But yes Spain has higher odds of winning .

@Someone here Spain can easily score 5+ goals, but they won't anyway, because they are boring and annoying.

It's going to be a boring game. I wish they could both lose.

England vs. France was fire!
