Conformity doesn't mean you can't enjoy a popular thing for fun.

Of course I consume some popular things.

It's not like I am some die hard fan who watches every game.

World Cup is interesting because it is so rare, not an annual thing. I mostly look in on it from a distance. If you guys were not talking about it, I wouldn't even know it was happening this year.

I agree . It’s counterintuitive. They may actually win without him because Ronaldo’s ego and his obsession with winning this time at any cost to equalize Messi is gonna definitely cloud his perception and the whole teams perception. Forget the bullshit he said to Piers Morgan that he doesn’t dream about achieving the WC and it doesn’t define how great he is as a player because it’s just few games .. that interview happened after the 2022 World Cup. 
also Ronaldo is honestly Not Ronaldo anymore . He has 100% turned into a striker who’s waiting in the box for penalties and Tap-Ins . He doesn’t get involved in the play making at all or building up or creating chances for other teammates at all. But on the other hand he became the best finisher . I honestly don’t think Portugal can actually do it . I’m watching though to support Portugal and Ronaldo.

On a serious note I think AI is going to transform everything in human life and society. It has entered literally every single field in life ..including spirituality and awakening. You can become a spirituality content creator on YouTube using entirely AI-Generated scripts. As times passes and the Technology advances we will definitely not need so much human effort to generate insights .
