Of course the reason people call this a cult very often is because imagine you are an average joe stumbling upon this and someone says "you're not a human, and you completely believe you're a human".

When I think of a cult I think of brainwashing and mind control and manipulation. Because its a way for the leaders of the cult to have power over others and control their minds.  With as someone else said, mechanisms to prevent someone from leaving.  

Here we encourage free thought. If you don't like what's being said here no one is manipulating you to stay here.  If you think us saying think for yourself is a mind control technique then I don't know what to tell you..its not the Truth.  But the beauty is you don't have to be here if you don't wanna be..and Just for the record, arrogance and/or confidence does not a cult make.

I don't really feel any pressure to stay or conform myself to anything here. I kind of forgot the site existed until a while ago.

In a cult, leaving, or trying to be different, will feel like a big risk. It will invoke fear because others in the cult told you that you should fear leaving. "And the way you find out what is true is by finding it out yourself. You shouldn't listen to me, that's not how you get to the truth" -> manipulation to justify the conformity.

"But if you speak against me based on what you have found out, I will say that you don't know what you're talking about and that I'm the only authority on the matter" -> pressure to conform.

And the cycle continues.

The reason why you and @Inliytened1 don't feel pressured by these things is because you don't believe it to be true. You see beyond the bullshit. Imagine if you don't.

True. The middle statement about finding it out for yourself is true, but it's clearly not understood by the person preaching it, evidenced by all the other statements. There is an oscillation and contradiction happening which leads to confusion and a pressure to stay.

That is true. I've been there before, though. "I'm out" because it was a prison made by my own belief system about reality.

Is there pressure in that regard? Definitely. But I don't see it being explicitly enforced. Like, for example, if someone got banned for saying Leo isn't an authority, that would probably make for a cult. It's clearly saying "you're not allowed to think or act like I'm not an authority". Right now, the pressure is just a psychological projection coming from the beliefs of the members. Kind of like someone who feels pressured to stay in school or college. Is that the fault of the school or college? Debatable, because it's not really explicitly enforced. It's given as loose advice from a teacher, like "you should stay in school if you wanna be smart" or "you should keep following me if you wanna awaken".

Consider that you would consider a doomsday cult a cult even if they weren't taking any of your money or using "mind control" techniques (which is what exactly?) or the members are "completely free" to leave.

I am in speech therapy and practicing using my “new” voice  

I cannot sustain that kind of voice for very long. And it took several tries to get it to feel natural. But with practice, building my confidence, and Love, I will be there longer and it will be more effortless 🎯

To me its a pursuit of Truth.  And let's face it not everyone is gonna make it with meditation.  So psychedelics are emphasized here.  I don't agree with Leo on everything.  And if this was a cult you and I would probably have been "quietly" dismissed by now.  I don't agree that psychedelics can give you a deeper enlightenment than meditation.  We differ in that awakening is awakening and it is Absolute.   There are not Infinite degrees of awakening.  There isn't some crazy alien state you can reach.i  do agree however that Consciousness is not human either it is Pure Spirit.  The human part is, as we know, this imaginary ego that co-opts Consciousness for itself.   So if you look back I've had plenty of arguments with Leo about this stuff.  And I'm still here.  His work is invaluable if someone actually wants to put in the time.  But be careful because you will lose your sanity and you just might not get it back.  This is stated.  Such is spirituality.  It is serious shit.  But normies don't understand any of this stuff so to them it appears crazy.  Of course.  That is how it should be.
