Yes it can be EXTREMELY intrusive for better or worse 

But once you disidenitify with the self and thought. It becomes a God power 

God becomes obsessed with awakening. And will stop at nothing to achieve it.

For me its just about collapsing thought into being.

Oh that's not possible - you cannot kill the ego. You cannot kill something that never existed in the first place! 

Maybe deconstruct and to see through it is the intent. Not destruction.

@JoshB the full moon shines light through the night sky; but it is our job to know it is an illusion. The moon doesn't shine as a true light source, it merely reflects the light from the sun 🌛

The ego is a concept known to exist and what is known to exist can never be unknown to exist. 

The ego exists as a concept in the immediate knowing of it.
A concept is known,  never observed  because whatever concept is being looked upon is simply an empty mirror reflection of this imageless empty looking. 
 

Non existing concepts are still concepts known in this conception.

Precisely you see through the illusion of the moon being the source of the light.

The idea of the moon / ego dies 

I added more examples because the end of selfhood is merely just a facet of realizing the sun

Yes, so true.

Nothing can exist without a mirror to reflect upon itself. So the question is what’s being reflected in the mirror? On looking I see only nothing. I am the looked upon.

The mirror trick is the real and true self recognition where there’s only a sense of “ you” which is a mental psychological construct of the brain mind mechanism based on memory, perception and emotion, not a fixed thing.

Life is a seamless uninterrupted flowing process, always in constant flux and change, not a fixed entity. 

 

 

Nothing is ever seen, only known , in this immediate knowing that cannot be known. Including this….
