I finally got the reason behind antisemitism

6 posts in this topic

I finally got the reason behind antisemitism. I think the reason behind antisemitism is this: jewish people are tribal. Because judaism is reserved to the jews and there's no proselytizing, jewish people tend to be closed off to other people. They have a poignant identity, yet the community rarely accept outsiders to become part of it. Hence unlike other religions which are designed to be universal, judaism easily creates a sense of other in other people's mind, which can easily turn into a shadow, where people end up demonizing the jews for their elitism and ethnocentrism.
So antisemitism is a direct cause of the foundation and particularism, as well as tribalism special to the jewish identity, and jewish religion.

Jews are self-serving so of course other tribes don't like it. That's the nature of tribalism.

It is a feedback loop of Jews being self-serving, then other groups look at them negatively for that, and then that gives reason for Jews to be even more self-serving to protect themselves, which gives more reason for other groups to hate them, thus creating a self-fulfilling cycle of tribalism.

It is like a Chinese finger-trap. The more you pull, the tighter it locks.

Gypsies also work this way. But really, all tribes work this way. That's why tribalism ends in genocide.

@Leo Gura Every tribe is self-serving, but more than that, jews do not accept outsiders by in large to join their community. Which can create an elitism and a clannish vibe, which other tribes won't like. It's the same with right wingers in Europe or America who are anti-immigration, they think that by placing too high of a standard for who gets to join their nation, they will minimize ethnic clashes between civilizations. But on the opposite what it does is create resentment in others, which creates a hatred towards Europeans and Americans let's say coming from other nations like the middle east, Africa, India, Pakistan, south and central America... But again, right wingers do have a point in that, too much immigration, erases the existing culture, because by in large, asking people who come from other nations and cultures to assimilate, by forgetting their cuisines, songs, languages, traditions, religions...isn't a serious political project.

If that was true, there wouldn't be any Jews alive today. But Jews co-existed with Christians and Muslims for thousands of years, and were always part of the demographic in the middle east. Wars happened between Christians and Muslims and Jews, and in-between each of them. Nothing special there, just regular tribalism.

Anti-semitism actually is a fairly new idea, originated as a form of racism/xenophobia in Europe, then transferred to many Arab nations as part of their national and ethnic identity.

And more recently it's become a political correctness weapon to marginalize and nullify any opposition to Zionism.

Because they are dangerous to the original government. They have people in their religion who are very intelligent and will leech off your system and eventually take it over to serve their religion.

They follow the rules but they also use their influence and power as a group while doing this.

Its extremely toxic to any non jew society.

If any other people except jews did this the people of the country would not accept.

But the jews have convinced the country that they are 'Gods people'.

Its like soft takeovers Russian does to Ukraine.

All tribes work this way all people who immigrate do this, but the Jew specifically do it maliciously.

They know they have to penetrate the system and work it and they do it and that makes them specifically dangerous.

Immigrants come over to the country and work hard and be polite and work up.

A jew will come in specifically make friends with the highest power person, do plans behind the scenes, throw out propaganda, leech the system as much as possible, all in the name of gaining power for their religion in the area, not making it better for everyone.

The reason fingers are being pointed specifically at Jews is it seems like Leo says, they are pulling their finger trap the hardest.

They use the countries rules against itself. Maliciously.

I have a completely different perspective. Quite a lot of groups are tribal and closed off.

The real reason for antisemitism is because when the Roman Empire became Christian, the Jews were the one group that did not convert. This made them into an other for everyone else.
