Looking at aesthetically ugly things is a shortcut for understanding and appreciating aesthetics. In every domain, not just visually. You look at Trump's behavior and quickly know to do the opposite. How it appears from the outside is of no import.

You could say the same about cutting yourself. Not convinced. Like, why are you so attached to it? there's 99% chance that it has nothing to do with growth.
