I am surprise about you stating that,  "being gay" mean you are attracted to man yes ? But a ladyboy is it really a man ?

This may be very unpopular, but I believe all people are bisexual to some extent.

I like dicks as well, but not the rest of the male body.

Thats why I dont even like trans women, anything that resembles manliness like a deeper voice or a manlier bone structure on the forehead is a deal breaker for me.

I am so sorry to just jump like that in the thread and share something immediate about this topic, but kinda relates to op's ideas:

I matched with this ladyboy a while back ago and on her bio she is "looking for new friends", and even though this is not what I'm looking for I still though why not, why not make a ladyboy as a friend just to get to know them? On her bio she out she's into philosophy, anthropology and she likes to create music... She's also one of the cutest ones I've saw.

So she asked me back then why I matched with her and what am I looking for and explained to her just a platonic friendship, but it felt a bit tiring and like an interview so I kinda let go already.

A few days pass and out of nowhere she just asks me "you want to hookup?". Apparently she is feeling like that lately. And she also said she wants sex. Man... My head hurts just thinking of this. If she just had a pussy... But she is a man down there... I can't... But such an opportunity. For the lore? Is it worth it? Man...

Well you said you just wanted to be friends so you dont need to feel bad when you decline that offer. Its pretty invasive of her as well.

Do what feels right to you.

If you wanna explore you can tell her that you havent done it with a trans girl before and are unsure about it.

Really? Take me. I am too heterosexual (or autistic) for my own good. I love to go down on girls (front and back) and really taste it. But when it comes to normal sex my brain goes ”you are tainting her vagina with your disgusting penis, you would not put your dick in your food. So why are you doing it to her vagina?” I think we can assume not everyone is bi.

dating trans women is still somewhat taboo. This is despite trans porn being massive as well as most maor cities in the world have numerous trans escorts.

It's not gay t like trans women imho. doesn't matter if said person is pre or non-op and thus still has a penis. A gay man wouldn't be attracted to a general female form as it stands.

This is one reson why "chasers" and the down low exists, due to the societal stigma attached.

Some prominent trans women have parnters but even then they sometimes get told they're gay. It's common amongst trans women to say they have issues getting relationships, mainly as a result of societal stigma and men being too scared to date them but willing to fuck them.

In Thailand, since this references ladyboys in particular, it seems it might be harder since it's a conservstgive country and ladyboys there are seem as a pecularity to be tolerated at best.

Dude, what?

If you want a girl with a dick you are gay.

The last thing a straight man wants on his girlfriend is a dick. That is not a little thing, that's a dealbreaker. Lol.

If you negotiating about your gf having a dick, you ain't straight. Do whatever, but don't kid yourself.

I disagree. for most men who like trans women it's about the general feminine air. Men generally like women beyond mere genitals or secondary sex characteristics like boobs. it's also about the female form, mannerisms, etc. most men into trans women self-report they'd never date or fuck another man.

Gays like other men and are into men. and that's not just about genitals either. Gays like men for similkar reasons hetero women like men. it's the masculine air and not just the fact men have penises.

The finer details of the argument surrounding what constitutes homosexual/heterosexual/bisexual etc are going to come down to if you define homosexuality/bisexuality/heterosexuality etc by sexual dimorphism or gender expression/identity. Or some combination of the above.

The definnitions Kinsey made decades ago stll stand. And men like women physically for feminine physcial and behavioural characteristics. That's independent of of seeing her genitals, which even when naked are not technically visible always.

Sure, but not everyone adheres to Kinsey's definitions.

Unique worldviews and all that.

The whole female body differs from the male body in proportions and detail.

Two perspectives that broadly overlap.

A gay man wouldn't date anybody who even looks female.

Yes, and? I said that hetero men like women because of women's characteristics physically.

physical and behavioural characteristics and then talked about how in sex the genitals are often not even seen which sounded like you made the point that when in bed you dont see her genitals and when you are still attracted to her it must be her behaviour because no genitals in sight.

So I thought I must make the point that you can still be turned on by the rest of the feminine body

But I misunderstood your point
