It is far easier to trick someone, than to convince them they have been tricked.

Income tax in most EU countries is like 37%. And in a lot of countries it even lower.

It is not astronomically different compared to the US. Only if you earn a lot you have to pay more tax like 55% as a top earner. But you can also go to Somalia and pay 0% tax.

The EU provides an excellent market. So it makes sense you don’t just leech of the people and not give anything back to the community.

Only high income people are taxed way higher but they get other benefits to get a certain part of their tax money back.

The US kind of shitty if you a middle-lower class. Awful workers rights and work ethics. You work and still be homeless lmao.

Consider this:

Basic health insurance costs: $3000/yr at least. This is for shit doctors. The worst of the worst.

If you are healthy, you are wasting $3000/yr on that. Over 10 years that is $30,000. If you just saved that money yourself you could cover $30,000 in medical fees, which requires a pretty serious ailment.

If you are reasonably healthy insurance is stealing your money to pay for the sick and old.

And if you are in the EU, that $30,000 will be taken from your income. Unless you have a shit salary, in which case socialism is great for you! Keep on leeching!

Did your political views shift? 5 years ago you supported Bernie Sanders for president. Right now, you're sounding like a stage orange capitalist bro.

I would certainly agree that poverty is not something one should glorify, that would be a mistake. Wealth is not inherently a bad thing. However, you veer into gross oversimplification in your discussion. Surely you would agree that:

1) Most people don't have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. This is not merely a question of whether a person is lazy or not, but successful entrepreneurs tend to have specific character traits that they are born with. You're the one that talks about the importance of genes all the time.

2) You're not going to build a society filled with only entrepreneurs. You will always need policemen, firefighters, teachers etc. What, are all these people leeches because they don't earn as high a wage as you?

After 8 to 10 hours, yes, I do feel rested. But I remember a German fella who only needed to sleep 2 to 4 hours a night, and he was a hard drinker of vodka. He would drink 2 bottles a night well into his seventies. Go figure that one out, most probably freak genetics. He would have micro naps in between his drinks and whilst playing pool.

Hey 👋🏽 have you tried magnesium glycinate chelate capsules 400 mg? Give it go before bedtime, it's what I use and this version out of all the other magnesium supplements is the best because it isn't so laxative on the stomach, promotes restful rem sleep, muscle recovery and I feel amazing in the morning. Check your local whole foods market. You got this. Sending you love

WIll try it

What do you mean my muscle soreness and heaviness?

High performance athletes sleep 12 hours a day. 8 hours of sleep won't restore you physically if you're doing a lot. Oftentimes it takes me several days recovery, from doing some prolonged strenuous activity. Do you ever have rest days?

It could be prolonged fatigue, maybe you need a break.

Just simple workout. Pull-ups and dead hang 3 sets. But I do it everyday.

You can go to a sleep doctor and get a sleep study done. They will monitor your sleep and tell you if there are any problems happening.

It costs about $1000 for sleep study.

Only in distant future I will be able too :)

It boils down to your brain waves. When you sleep your brain waves slow down and if your brain is not slowing down you will get shallow sleep.

Look into proven methods that slow down your brain waves like certain breathing techniques, playing with your optimal sleeping time, meditation before sleep, etc. Other things you might want to try: play with temperature, air quality through air purifiers, humidifiers or dehumidifiers.

Recently I bought an air purifier and that helped me a lot. Even though my air was already clean there is always some dust mites or something.

Thank you. Will try it.

My meditation teacher, Stephen Proctor, lives in Australia. If you meditate check him out, he's the best I've come across.

@SimpleGuy I have sleep challenges. Everyone is going to be different but I cut out water for 2.5 hours before bed so I don't wake up too much. Stretching before bed has a massive impact on my sleep, and screens have to be turned off 2 hours beforehand. Not letting my cat sleep on me is also important. I wake up at 3am if I don't do these things.

You may want to look into Matthew Walker. He has a book called Why We Sleep where he discusses these things and more, but he's been interviewed on tons of podcasts so you can get the gist from one of those. He says the number one thing you can do to improve your sleep is go to bed at the same time every night. Not doing so fucks up your circadian rhythm.

Thank you. Will try stretching

Only if you poor.

80% of the US citizens are poors so.
GDP is big, but 1% hoard 60%

In France everyone has less money, but extreme poverty don't exist as much, everyone is just low middle class.
Overall it's not better, only better if you're poor.
for the average person it's better to live in EU.

For the rich, it's an hell to live in EU and get taxed minimum 30% on everything.
but this money is used to remove extreme poverty with high welfare, which increase safety and reduce crime, which makes even the rich wins because they don't need to build a wall to avoid the neighbor to steal his car to sell it to get money for the cancer of his sister.

Do you sleep on the floor or a sofa? How's your mattress? How's your pillow/s? How's your sleeping posture? Is your room very cold/hot? Is there a lot of stale air or dust or mold? If muscle aches are the main concern I'd first check in with those things before running any evil spirit banishing rituals

What you can try is sleep on the ground or firmer surface, for true relaxation the (skeletal system) needs to hold the body up, so muscles, brain, organs can truly relax and drop, try at first on a yoga matt, maybe with a layer or two of blankets, or invest in thin 10cm Japanese style futon.

If you are on the tech a lot, especially in the evenings, best invest in some high quality blue-blocking glasses which made a big difference for me.

Exercise daily, not too hard, and not to failure, but exercise to success, it has to be enjoyed.

I also find going outside and putting my feet on the soil/grass and or sitting and doing some deep breathing 5 - 10 minutes before bed helps a lot.

This will help discharge a lot of the electricity we pick up in modern environments. I also turn off all electronics, wifi, noises, lights and keep my room as dark but also as cool fresh air coming in always keeping windows slightly open or as much as you need.

I would also try stop eating around 6 - 7 pm the latest, and sleep on an empty stomach, and maybe a herbal tea that helps with sleep, like chamomile, lavender, valerian, skullcap, passionflower ect...

Eat lots of fruits and veggies, try get at least 2 - 3 liters of spring or living water in a day, get at least 30 minutes of sunshine a day, full body exposure if you can, all these things should help. Its often the same advice for almost every issue modern humans struggles with.

Most city dwellers are basically living inside a man-made motherboard, our nervous system is not designed for this shit.

So don't beat yourself up, take it easy, slow down, do less, rest and relax more, be at ease and peace.

I am but a reflection... a mirror... of you... of me... in a cosmic dance ~ of a unified mystery...

+1 you'll never know when you'll fall into poverty. It could be 100% outside of your fault. Sudden cancer or other ailment that will cripple your ability to work attl all.

But I get Leo's point, give people 1 finger and they will take the whole hand. That is socialism in a degenerate culture. In a healthy culture like the 60s healthy Blue culture of work ethics, socialism works great. But in this man-child "I play counter-strike all day because I receive money from the state" culture and broken work environment, around half of people work hard and the other half either works some bullshit job that does not help society or receive benefits from the state or parents.

Keep in mind that the leeches are working privately too. Why do you think your brand items are so expensive? Because they employ tons of people who don't work shit and you as a customer are paying their salaries by paying the extra price for their products. This is for the libertarians who say leeching happens only through the state.

I think the construction workers have a shit salary but when I see them breaking their bones in freezing cold to build our housing, it does not look like "leeching" to me. The leeching is done by those corporate emplyees who fap under that desk all day at work and get paid a premium for that.

If you meant it though the "survival of the smartest" paradigm not the meritocracy one, then I get your point.

@Alexop, do you refer to people that don't work at a corporation, or are all types of corporate work leeching?

The very rich can avoid heavy taxation in the EU also. Sweden has more millionaires and billionaires as percentage of population than the US.

The rich live worse in the US than the EU. It doesn't matter how rich you are if the roads are shit, public transport is shit, urbanism is shit, most food products are shit, everyone around you is just a working zombie who takes drugs just to not suicide. How cna you keep your millions in your bank account when you hear people around you working to death in order to pay for their past medical bills?
