Why do you think someone like Rupert Sheldrake was shunned by academia, precisely because his topics of research were not acceptable topics for mainstream science.

The whole point of epistemology is to separate what feels true from what is true. It puts feelings and desires aside. 

Also, I don't think scientists fully operate in the way you describe. Sure, they might be close-minded when it comes to certain things like the materialist paradigm, but that's different from things like crop circles and actual physical phenomena. 

The truth of the matter is humans have been known to create crop circles.

The Roswell crash basically explains everything. The US gov has bodies from that crash. Study Roswell.

But Leo, why the aliens don't visit Europe at all? Don't aliens appreciate giant welfare states? Or why they don't visit Russia, China or North Korea? They only like unhinged capitalism? 

It is kinda odd that aliens and UFO's are visiting only the USA.

They do. You are just not educated on the history.

The first UFO craft was found in 1930's Fascist Italy.

UFOs fly all over the world in every country.

The Russians and Chinese certainly know about UFOs. China hosts a professional world conference on UFOs.
