The real challenge is reconnecting with the original purity behind Christianity.

I think Jesus was a being who had compassion with a capital C, perhaps unlike any other sage.

The real question is, why are we talking about Jesus being a fantasy, and not treating Buddha and Muhammed equally harshly ?

I think the answer is that Christianity as a religion has done such a diabolical number on so many people, that people would love to delete it's 'founder' all together.

I mean people say worse stuff about Mhamed.

Do you believe that all is calm, positive and enchanting in the subtle realms?  Humanity has told a different story over the millenia concerning the darker entities in some of these realms. Hic sunt dracones.

I don't know if there are subtle realms. Maybe there are. But when someone takes psychedelics and deceives themselves, I wouldn't say it's because they're deceived by some entity. Rather, they deceive themselves because they have a great desire for validation. So great that they would choose validation over anything else. So, they create a peculiar psychological structure in which they believe what suits their purposes, then in the trip they see what they need to see to believe their history.

@Wilhelm44Christianity is the most popular so it's the easiest to attack.   The others don't press their point as much or try to convert you like most Christians do.

Who’s that?

I have a friend from Kenya named Moses but it’s weird that you’re mentioning him.

I'm not Jewish, but I bet that Kabbalah students would have good things to say about him.

You doing the everyone is imaginary thing I get it. But what proof do you have that Jesus was not a character on this plane, or are you just parroting Leo on this one.

My realisations all pointed to it. A state where every proof I come up with I know is imagined by me. I am not saying I live in that, like we here talks about character of mahabharatha(hindu epic) I also participate, says krishna should have done that and this. Its fun. But back of mind I know, I am imagining it all. After back and forth talking about characters in the epic, I laugh at myself knowing it was all imagination.

@Harikrishnan  Forget about the imaginary nature of things.

What actual proof made you question the validity of Jesus having been a person ?

When proof itself is imagined, how can our baby jesus be spared ❤️

It’s also that most of us live in western countries with free speech and freedom of religion where we can talk and make fun of jesus and paint him.

While muslims can’t for example.

But i think that automatically makes jesus cooler. That he can take criticism.

It’s interesting that we can infer from the Bible that there were loads of people who came across Jesus and didn’t see anything special about him.  The Bible mentions he wasn’t believed in his own village.  This is actually quit realistic.  There was also loads of people who never saw Ramakrishna as special.  Most people are too low vibration to recognize an enlightened being, and he becomes invisible.  Most people saw Ramakrishna as ordinary but Vivekananda fell at his feet and recognized he was God.

What do we expect them to look like?

I'm not doubting the imaginary part. I'm just talking about historical figures, even if ultimately they are imaginary.

I love making fun of Jesus too, it's just when people say with such conviction that he didn't exist as a historical figure, I don't see that as very scientific.

(It's almost like that old atheist argument - you can't prove that God exists, therefore that somehow proves that God don't exist. It's silly.)

What did the Chinese know.   What about Abraham?  If you want to go back to the old testament we treck very holy grounds. The Jews are the Chosen Ones after all.
