@aurum yeah seems to be my experience also. However I've found some insight into having relationships and sex through the years. In an ideal world you'd find a partner who's as commited to consciousness work as you and you can both help eachother take care of basic survival needs like sex but it's not the base of the relationship, consciousness is. Think that's possible to have?

I think relationships are generally very good for your development as a human. They're going to force you to grow and mature.

But it's worth making some distinctions between human development and awakening. Awakening is really trans-human. So there's overlap, but also distinctions.

Personally, I've let go of the idea of needing my partner to be interested in hardcore consciousness. I think it's an unfair expectation and puts you in the bind of looking for a unicorn. 

Really want I need from her is just basic maturity and to be a good mother. As long as she supports me taking time for consciousness work, that's enough. She doesn't need to be Peter Ralston.

Consider that dating a woman who is interested in hardcore consciousness will inevitably come with serious downsides.

My point is very clear ..obviously some activities feel better than others and so forth and it's relative to people's taste. Some people do truly enjoy cigarettes more than sex like old people with Erectile Dysfunction and gray beard . And some do enjoy sex more than ciggies like teenagers without facial hair and explosion of hormones. 

The Second point is whether it be sex..ciggies..food..travelling..love..drugs..whisky..etc it's not ever going to make you truly happy because that's what ABC# spiritual work reveals that happiness can never come to you from the outside world.

That's true and false.

Sex is one of the most difficult things to transcend because it is inside you, it's fundamental, it's life -- whether you like it or not, it is there. It's different from things like alchohol, cigar, food cravings, socialization needs, these things come in thoughts, while sex is an potent energy that is there thoughtless(it may come with thoughts but thats sexuality and not sex itself).

But sex is also the root chackra, the start of the path. I'd argue the proper way to start spirituality is if you have a deep understanding of sex. If you have knowledge of the orgarsm of sex, of what that experience is, and how to access that outside of sex -- you will drop it.

You guys would make very poor detectives, actually. Why would I make a Jamaica thread being from India and why even post my pictures everywhere if they're fake.
