Are you happy? If yes, what can people do to become happy like you?

Deconstruct your entire life 😂 (not self-deletion, but meditation and letting go of attachments, notions, beliefs, etc.). And do happy and healthy things.

Don't chase happiness.

Chase your development, potential and truth-seeking.

"Finding your reason can be so deceiving, a subliminal place.

I will not break, 'cause I've been riding the curves of these infinity words and so I'll be on my way. I will not stay.

And it goes On and On, On and On"

Happiness is a state. States don't last forever. No one is happy all the time. Content and at peace, maybe, but not happy. Do you chase sadness, no. That's why it finds you. Get the drift?

Can a state become a trait?

It sort of went like :

ego death/realisation

elevated consciousness

more ego death/realisation

more elevated consciousness - Oh wait I am more content with bad state of life

more ego death/realisation

more elevated consciousness

more ego death/realisation

more elevated consciousness - oh wait, some peace now

more ego death/realisation

more elevated consciousness - oh what, now I am happy a lot despite bad stuff

Whenever there was a realisation, a layer of my own lies to myself was removed. Deconstruction. Somewhere in that cycle, if you do it right, you pop your head out of reality into an awakening.

And now in general I am a pretty happy person. I don't have a lot. But I value everything and appreciate all I have very deeply. I have so much gratitude to be alive. The cool, crisp air in my lungs, the stupid rock in my god damn shoe. Picking up my dogs shit.

That's not to say I don't have human consternation, I do.

But as the above, endless, infinite cycle, repeats - it gets easier. The endless spiral. The snake eating itself.

Deal with the issue now, on your terms, in your control. Or the issue will deal with you, in ways you won't appreciate, and cannot control.

Weirdly resonates,

Feels like I've made the progress I've made by accident. I was just trauma healing.. but as I cleaned up, the more receptive I became.

Granted I'm still very half baked. But like bread in an oven, WE RISING. Truly have a sense this process will continue irregardless of any kicks and screams of protest.

Emphasis on the BRICK.

I remember the most random, sober night. Going about mine like a good little boy when a firm, authoritative voice in my head gave instructions. Drink water, lay down, put on music.

Then BRICK BRICK BRICK of God or something being like WHATCHA DOIN? WAKE UP! Here have this peak experience :x it's on me. NOW WAKEEE UPPPP!

Never consented to this.. b-but here I am! I guess.. thanks for the bricks?

Yes, but you won't like it: get a motorcycle.

Not sure, good question. Maybe if it's practiced enough.

You think about something happy. Feel the emotion and hold it for as long as you can. Emotions are energy you are just looking for energy in your body. Once you hold it you can make it grow. Then you start glowing it and then people around you and reality is now happy.

If you are holding into negative energy then it won't work cause you will drop happiness to feel that instead

“Did you ever say Yes to a single joy? O my friends, then you said Yes to all woe as well. All things are chained and entwined together, all things are in love; if ever you wanted one moment twice, if ever you said: ‘You please me, happiness! Abide, moment!’ then you wanted everything to return!” - Friedrich Nietzsche

For me, being happy comes from having a project, a tomorrow.

Honestly, I’m with Lana over Žižek on this one.

Happiness as a butterfly - that’s a beautiful allegory (and a wondeful song).

It’s like waking from a dream you didn’t know you were dreaming.

There’s no message, no center - just a shift in texture. A sudden clarity in the air. Not because you grasped something true, but because, for a moment, something happened - a pure event. Not yours, not anyone’s. An affect without subject. A becoming without ground.

You try to trace it, return to it, stage its recurrence. But the coordinates dissolve. The moment you look for it, it’s already folding into something else. The dream won’t be dreamt again. The real was in the crack.

Happiness - if you still want to call it that - isn’t a condition, and it doesn’t belong to you. It’s not a state, not a trait. It’s a singular cut in the flow - an untimely surge, unrepeatable, unclaimable.

No method will bring it back. No meditation or ritual can install it, because every technique presupposes a logic of access. But this - this was never behind a door. It was the door disappearing.

You can’t actualize what was never potential. You can’t remember what never took form. All you can do is be undone by it, for a second. A pure immanence passing through - like light in a shutter, like the one frame that doesn’t fit the story.

And then it’s gone. Not because it was false. But because it was real.

Like a butterfly that lands on your shoulder - only when you’ve forgotten it exists.

I've been contemplating, and the biggest obstacle to happiness for me is the fear of the pain of losing it sooner or later.
It's repressed, and it would require more introspection, but I think I'm reaching that place.

Happiness is indeed a state of mind, we can choose to be happy especially if we are in good health.

I agree but the only thing I’ll say is that in my experience letting go off attachments,  beliefs etc are directly correlated to the dissolution of your self since what makes up the self is your self image and also all your attachments and your worldview kinda. It’s like this one mass. That’s at least how it has been for me. I struggle with maintaining my self while deconstructing the rest.

Sense of self is unhappiness.

But if you deconstruct your sense of self and you live in a sewer or a public toilet from a horror movie, it won't be too fun, but you'll not be too unhappy about it.
