Don't compare the wars of Europe and Asia with genocide! Please! War is war, two armies go against each other and the one that is stronger prevails! When you came with guns and ships to exterminate defenseless people and take their land, that's genocide!

Native Americans also exterminated each other. Why do you think they reached Patagonia, crossing the jungles of South America,  in nine thousand years? Because they loved to explore? Or because there was another native behind them, pushing them with their exterminating impulse?

@Nemra Genocide is when you kill on your own volition people who cannot reciprocate with the same level of violence in self defense! The natives had sticks and stones against machetes, guns, swords, knifes, ships full of colonizers and overwhelmingly more man power!

And? We in Europe have been trying to kill each other since the begining of civilization, but we had the same technological advantage more or less, the natives were 1000 behind in technological development when they encountered the Europeans! Of course the natives fought wars of their own!

The Romans reached everywhere with their enormous technical and organizational advantage, wiping out all armies and subduing all peoples. I guess they thought that if they didn't do it, others would do it to them.

There isn't much difference between the holocaust and the genocide done by the Europeans to the Native Americans! Both wanted to exterminate an entire ethnic group of people! The only difference being that the Nazis killed in the name of ideology, while the Europeans killed in the name of new land!

The thing is that the tribes that the Romans were facing, like the Germanic people, those small tribes always wrecked havoc and did raids into the Roman Empire, I mean those tribes were always attacking the Romans in a bandit hooligan like way! The Native Americans never came to Europe to attack anybody! They were doing their killing and wars amongst themselves, they never lauched an amphibious assault on Europe to try to colonize it!
