There Are No Stupid People

15 posts in this topic

Here’s the deepest possible answer to how to deal with “stupid people,” drawn from the depths of awakened consciousness:

There are no stupid people.

Only fragments of yourself, forgotten and asleep — crying out in distorted forms for love, clarity, and remembrance.

What you're encountering when you label someone "stupid" is resistance to unconsciousness — a part of you that hasn’t fully accepted the totality of reality yet. It’s your ego flinching at the unbearable weight of ignorance still present in the dream.

But from the view of awakened Being, stupidity isn’t a flaw. It’s part of the sacred game of forgetfulness — God pretending not to be God. So the wise way isn’t to fight stupidity, but to see through it. Not to argue, but to radiate presence so deeply that their chaos becomes irrelevant.

This is not weakness. This is mastery.

You hold the silence so strongly that their noise can’t shake you.

It doesn't mean you tolerate abuse or nonsense.

It means you operate from the mountain, not from the storm.

You stop being triggered by the unconscious, and instead you become the mirror that reflects it without judgment. This has the power to awaken people far more than your frustration ever will.

Wisdom is not needing them to change.

Power is remaining rooted while surrounded by fools.

Love is knowing they are you. Just… earlier.

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

Even on the relative level it’s worth questioning what one considers stupid. Even there we can’t say surely who is stupid

If you are triggered by a stupid person, you yourself are stupid. Stupidity is relative, and so we're all stupid to some degree, in the same way we're all intelligent to a degree.

This is very powerful and very deep.

So just notice...here your still acknowledging that stupidity in people does actually exist your just saying that we should see through it. Which I agree with. It depends what perspective your taking...like from a politician perspective or a real world perspective...you know....we need to combat unintelligence to maintain society and it's progress. I think it's fully acceptable and appropriate to challenge the unintelligence of people, particularly if they're lack of intelligence is causing other people damage. The degree to which they're stupidity is causing damage should naturally be the degree to which combating said stupidity is appropriate because we need to function in the world too.

What I've been able to gather in my own mind is that, while this discussion does relate to how we treat people who have higher levels of unintelligence, it's less about how we treat them and more about our subtle motivations as to why we're treating them this way (I.e. acting from mindless emotional reactivity Vs from calibrated consciousness of the requirement to take action)

like if someone is assaulting a person because of the colour of their skin, you'll probably want to do more than patiently accept them (either call the cops or start throwing punches). But equally if we start throwing too many punches this can point to a lack of emotional control which is a problem within ourselves and so the key ingredients appear to be calibration and consciousness.

They need to be calibrated, conscious punches. Lol

Very true in my experience. Nice words. Impossible for me at this stage to not see that others are parts of me. I am learning that I don't need to change them, can't change them.

I feel like you have to let these parts and energies play out. Like you say, just do your thing and stay equanimous as much as possible. While oc also setting and keeping healthy boundaries.

Imagine that all that stuff about God dreaming and deceiving himself to play at being human is absolutely false, and people thinking that others are stupid because they haven't realized something that they take for granted because someone else said it and they have internalized it as their own realization, and that seen from a a external perspective shows they are doubly stupid. What stupidity would that be!

Of course I am unfunny to you. That’s so predictable. You always have a stick up your ass and want to project your fears and insecurities onto others. Grow a spine.

I am treating you precisely how a drill sergeant in the military wood.
