Where Are You All Trying To Go

I don't get it. This is planet Earth. We are here living lives. We get up go to work pay our bills, go to school, learn trades and skills, communicate, hang out, go to bars, have sex, do pick-up, put on make-up, eat dinner, sleep, buy clothes, go on forums, watch TV and movies, talk to the neighbors, worry about everything, be addicted to everything and fear everything.

OK, those are just ordinary mundane things that we do on a day-to-day basis along with other stuff. Now, the question is, with all this Spirituality stuff, opening to the cosmos, recognizing the true self, staying present, be in the now, doing psychedelics, seeking truth, learning about consciousness, reality, God, etcrtcetc, where is it leading you. (don't get me wrong I love this stuff too and i will keep doing it, but for it's own sake like I love to cook and eat and decorate).

I'm not asking rhetorically, I'm asking for literal answers. What are you trying to accomplish, seriously. I stated mine, because I love it for it's own sake but not trying to get anywhere other than for it's effects. Just like cooking, the effects from that is doing art and turning something into something else and being creative and seeing how a potato turns into potato hash. Etc. 

I still have to work to buy the potatoes and stove and then I shit it out and pee out the water I drank. Meditation might make me calmer for the day and sitting in silence might feel good in the moment. But for the end result, what is it. Where am I going, what am I becoming in the long run and to end up where. I still am on planet earth doing worldly things and on this forum typing words everyday and out in nature enjoying the sun. But what then, I'm going to get old and die just like all of you so where are you all trying to get to if it's not to get old and die and end up in the grave. If that's not going to happen and I'm just imagining all this and dreaming all this and nothing is real and there's just what's happening and appearing, where am I going still. Where are you going and what will you get from all your spiritual endeavors in the long run. That's the question.

For me it's just and endless diving into glory. There's nothing else worth doing anyways. Just enjoy the ride.

There's nothing else worth doing for you. For plenty, there's other stuff worth doing other than this. Just a matter of preference. When the material world proves to not be fulfilling, some turn to Spirituality in search for fulfillment and see nothing else worth doing. It is not until the seeking reveals neither is permanently fulfilling, that worth becomes null and void and doing just becomes doing but not for a worth.

If you are awakened you should probably use your times testing your machine out. Try different things try feeling different ways around people thinking different things.

There really are only two options in life: ascension or declension (and maybe stagnation also) . Declension sucks. Ascension feels nice. The choice becomes very simple.

Philosophical answer: ultimately there isn't anywhere to go. My understanding is that existence is similar to art, in that it exists, because it's cool and sorta better than staring at nothing. It cultivates emotion and is beautiful. Temporary, inspiring, diverse. But ultimately, no purpose behind or beyond this. But this is from awakened state, from lower states lots of purpose which is totally awesome to have.

Infinity has no depth. Depth is a measure. Infinity cannot be measured. It can be, but only when it appears as form. Going infinitely deep into here and now is going nowhere.
