Doctor suspects that Vlad Vexler has been poisoned by the Kremlin

Vlad Vexler is one of my favorite philosophers on YT. His understanding of Russian politics and the Russian worldview is illuminating and one of the best resources on Russian politics on the internet. It doesn't paint a pretty picture, as you can imagine.

Context: he is chronically ill with ME but this situation has been more serious than normal.

If it actually is the Russian government responsible They will probably use a poison that’s undetectable by standard toxicology reports. Unless they specifically want to make a statement and insight fear

You would think, but they can be quite petty like this. They have targeted journalists before. I’m not saying it’s certain or anything. But it’s entirely believable.

Gosh, how long till someone here bring up that he is possesed by a devil that dont like his powerfull work? He is sick for a long time. He himself would say something about it of was the case. He for sure knows the Russian ways.

Russians have killed plenty of people before with the same tactics, nothing new here. Surprised anyone is even doubting things like this anymore.

It's not that they can't or wouldn't. It's that Vlad is too insignificant for them to take that risk.

Remember, there's diplomatic risk with such actions. Is it really worth the risk?

It’s hard to say. That’s sort of what they are known for though. Taking brazen risks. Leaving calling cards. Keeping people guessing. Stoking conspiracy. It’s the way they have always operated to keep people guessing.

That's just the ones we know of publicly. I mean, unofficially, Russian's fall out of windows more often than I have breakfast, I stopped listening years ago when someone reports it. For context, the US do plenty too:

Diplomatic risk? Are you sure? Whatever their press secretary says, the opposite is true. Trump doesn't care btw.

Vlad is in the UK. Pretty sure UK cares if their citizens are assassinated.

Uk will probably invoke article 4 of Nato if one of its citizens would be poisoned by Russia and would have solid proofs for that

No, they won't. 

I have zero confidence that anything will invoke Article 4 short of a full-scale occupation and overthrow of a member country's government. That doesn't mean there isn't a consequence for every action however.
