I have not read this book by Eckhart Tolle but found an interesting review on it. Here it is:

Please feel free to let me and others know more about Eckhart Tolle or the book if you like. :)

This is how my original power of now looks ?

Like a well worn dance shoe

Suppose Love is real, and let's assume reality is unreal. Suppose we discover that the building block of reality is real Love, that means our assumption was wrong and reality is actually not unreal. Reality is real, if everything we supposed is true. I'm not going to say if it is or not.

It's like the new bible, without all the cryptic bullshit.

For only 12$ you learn how to totally transform your life.

Well, if you're not fucking closed-minded.

@Key Elements Just finished it and immediately wanted to go back through, every sentence is full of wisdom it seems. Instead, I picked up his other follow up book "Practicing the Power of Now," which will help you integrate the knowledge from the first book into your own reality. I have a feeling I will read both multiple times!

Eckhart's Power of Now and A New Earth got me addicted to spirituality. Couldn't really leave the path since.

I might understand the fact that you don't seem interested and that it never comes to your mind,

But a statement where you clearly say that you never will, implies there is some kind of fear ...

@Shin  That's just projection on your part, so this fear you see may be something to examine in your self.

I didn't say i never will, I said I have no intention to, two different things.

@Vanish I do appreciate the sentiment of the book but I have no need to read it.

If you really didn't care, you wouldn't answer 3 times to show us how much you're above it.

Read the god damn book and stop being a pussy.

This book got me hooked on spirituality, I listened to it twice too, Eckhart's voice is pretty nice to listen to

I finally learned that within me
there lay an invincible summer.

I simply responded with my experience but gave no opinion either way about it, I didn't think it was a big deal of my not reading and replying on it.

If you value the book then enjoy what you got from it, although what value do you get by projecting stuff onto others because they didn't read it?

It's not fear or uncaring or being above something, it's just a book, I have no opinion of it, I just didn't read it.

if your attitude towards me is an example of what reading this book brings to someone then I surely have no need for it.

Is 'A New Earth' a good read? Not sure if I want to pick that one up.
