Fair point. Content is content — if it holds up, it holds up.
The obsession with source over substance is just credentialism in disguise. People dismiss good information because of where it came from while uncritically swallowing garbage from "approved" sources. That's not discernment, that's tribalism.
Judge the argument, not the jersey. And honestly? That's rare.

Thanks. I hate it.

A microcosmic case-in-point:

gooseworx is a victim of the childish, . infectious rot that is internet fandom culture.an entitled, bratty, mentally deficient, and emotionally subpar group of adult consumers that eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and throw a tantrum because they choked on their "content"

A stupidity test: When your exposed to leos content your first thoughts are:

  • "OH someone else has figured out the same stuff i figured out"! -> this means you've been doing epistemic work your whole life before being told to. Probably even when you were a child it was all intuitive to you.
  • "OH this is really important work" -> realizing that this is one of the only communities online that cares about Truth. Or even recognizes truth as an important value to have.

After being exposed to Leo for the first time you immediately recognize pure gold and you realize you just dragged your feet through non-stop epistemic garbage your entire life.

Every time you are exposed to any video in the future you feel like you are siphoning through a swamp of epistemic shit

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

@Leo Gura Did you even say 'thank you' once? I mean, did you know it was AI prior to posting it?

Ive seen his reaction when ever hes confronted with trump, like in the video you gave.

The read i got from it is He cannot speak freely on the matter and limits himself to keep his social connections.

Yes, he's very social and he wants to maintain his social connections with celebrities and important people. He loves being friendly with power. But I'm sure he still thinks he's fully independent. He doesn't believe befriending all those celebrities corrupts his judgment. But it does.

Of course it's not that simple and that's not the attitude that's being suggested.

It's just sometimes you will run into stupid people and you should be prepared for it.

Yes, I suspect such videos to be AI. If the channel has no human face and was created in the last year or two, then I suspect AI. But mostly I just focus on the quality of the content.

I try not to share AI content unless it is particularly poignant.

I wish YouTube would force AI channels to have a label.

Recently he pushed back hard on one of his long time guests in Elon Musks orbit and criticizes Palantir

I had a friend who told me he hates thinking because it gives him a headache.

For most poeple the effort to think is to high.

think friction is to high

Gad Saad is such a worm.

Rogan's fanbase is getting quite upset with Rogan for all this befriending of billionaires. At some point Rogan is gonna have to do some backpeddling to get them back or he will have a revolt on his hands.

I certainly get exhausted from deep contemplation. I can only do some hours of it per day.

Deep thinking literally strains the brain. It is like running raytracing on your graphics card and the fans go into overdrive.

That's a good insight, I think the average person gets the headache immediately? When I was younger it would take Maybe 4 to 5 hours of non-stop concentration before I get a headache.

I never get headaches no matter how long or how deep I think.

I just get exhausted, hazy, burnt-out, or sleepy.

I have to be in the right mood to think deeply, otherwise it doesn't work well. I have to find a flow state. And that state/mood doesn't last more than a few hours.

For many, the fact that it was artificially generated gives it a hollow ring from the get-go.

It's clear the author just wants to make a quick buck by selling overly simplistic (albeit reasonable on paper) narratives that make people feel validated. It is working, and most people in the comments don't seem to realize it is entirely AI.

Would such a person care about being factual and accurate in the first place?

I doubt they even care about the content per se. You saw the Himalayan AI BS stories. Getting eyeballs the easy easy way - by having AI create the content - seems to be their main concern, maybe the only one.

Contemplation and thinking are not the same thing. The former could be thought of as a silent or still "waiting," or opening, aimed at uncovering the truth of something.

It's not so much about trying to solve an equation as it is about facing a blank canvas - or some such metaphor.

Our entire biology is rigged toward stupidity.

When are you wise and mature? When you're old and can't have kids.

Young dumb and full of cum, people are the most likely to raise kids when they themselves are the dumbest.

Edit: I just realized that raising kids itself is a very unconscious process. Will conscious people even have kids? Lol, we're totally fucked.

@Butters you could argue that prior to the tiny insulated nuclear families of today, grandparents and wider family, who are generally more experienced and wiser, would have a hand in raising kids along with younger parents. But the older generations ... Aren't always smarter or wiser 😂

I think this role has some theories around it; women past breeding age in menopause could be viewed as passers of cultural knowledge and wisdom. It's very strange for a female of a species past breeding age to endure. There is some ambiguity around this theory. We still don't know why women endure so long after menopause.

Humans seem wired for cultural inheritance as well as biological.

The Caliban and the Witch book. For good, take a look on that book.

The book  is writen  Silvia Federici's

Your text describes post-menopausal women as potential vessels of cultural transmission — a biological anomaly that evolution seems to have preserved for social rather than reproductive reasons (the "grandmother hypothesis"). This maps almost exactly onto the historical figure Federici analyzes: the witch.

Federici argues that the witch hunts of early modern Europe weren't irrational hysteria — they were a deliberate, systematic destruction of a specific social role: the elder woman as healer, midwife, herbalist, keeper of communal and bodily knowledge. These were overwhelmingly older women, often past reproductive age, holding precisely the cultural inheritance function the text describes.

If evolution preserved post-menopausal women because they carry and transmit cultural knowledge, then the witch hunts weren't just misogyny — they were an attack on a specific evolutionary and social function

Federici connects this to primitive accumulation: capitalism needed to sever communities from their own knowledge systems, and elder women were those systems

The "witch" becomes the criminalized version of the grandmother-as-knowledge-keeper

Your text says we still don't fully understand why women endure so long after menopause. Federici's work suggests we did understand it culturally — and then burned it.
