Mutiny

It has a shit rating. Is it really any good? What did you like about it?

I also went last night to see that latest insidious movie and it was really bad. James Wan hasn't produced a good film since the early 2010s in my op.

Saw it in the theater today.  It is very violent.  I just read some reviews.  It is interesting which movies get higher reviews and which lower ones.  Probably not a date night movie, more like a guy movie, but I didn't find it boring.  I would probably only want to see it in the theater though.

Yeah that main actor seems to star in a lot of violent action movies 👍

Before judging you should go see it in the theater yourself and decide.

Usually I don't watch anything with a rating below a 6.5 out of 10. Seen too many terrible movies and left dissapointed and have learned my lesson.

Also true that some really highly rated films aren't particularly awe inspiring either.

I don't pay attention to critics.  I watch a movie and decide based on direct experience.

Everyone thought One Battle After Another was great, I did not agree.  This is a good example where sometimes I wonder why people resonate so much with a movie vs. the opposite.

Yes, I agree with you there on that particular film. I actually posted about it on here I believe. What did you think of Project Hail Mary? I hated on it quite a lot actually but people seemed to enjoy it.
