WOW, has this movie aged well! Adam Scott’s character is so spot on. The immaturity he represents and gets away with, is such a huge social issue in the US. Just look at what’s happened to the country since then…

I just see it as foolishness. Like, I don’t think of Christianity as “lies”. I think of it as foolishness. Honestly, It can trigger me from time to time, but I don’t walk around with a constant anti Christian boner. Lol. If I did, it would likely be because it was detrimental to me or I was majorly impacted by it and haven’t made peace with it. There’s a reason why woke impacts you the way it does. That’s all I’m trying to get it.

Yes! Back then when I watched it, it spoke to me on so many levels it felt quite personal.

This is a Danish film called "Druk".

So good.

Started watching European films. They are a breath of fresh air.

@Schizophonia French! I watched it in Spanish, though.

Eheh; I saw it too.

The scenario is a bit random but the realisation and actor game is good, espcially if you see it at the cinema.

Yes, this was great fun!

This is another one with Mads Mikkelses, which was very thrilling, although not so much fun:

@Cireeric, gotta say, Mads Mikkelsen is a great actor and charming as hell.

I loved how authentic he was when playing the Hannibal character.

I can see why. I tried showing it to my conservative family, and they couldn't even get past the 10 minute mark.

The movie isn't for everyone, ironically enough!

I don't see how a political view has anything to do with it.

I wasn't able to finish the movie because it was a chaotic mess with mediocre acting at best.
