  1. Sentience. Its important to recognise that sentience is an organisational principle, this is why we see a relationship between higher sentience and "self recognition" (i.e. mirror tests), thus higher sentience allows us to not only regulate our emotions better but also alter them in a particular direction at will with the appropriate training. This training and the extension of this potential is naturally to the full mapping of the entire brain where we can engender such ability. Meaning a maximisation of training will allow us to become sentient enough that we can regulate and control much more of our brain than we realise and thus affect growth in important areas, secondly, that if we were to induce a maximisation of optimising the parameters that govern the brains ability to change, i.e. neuroplastiicty, say through drug interventions (ayahuasca is implicated in improvements in neuroplastiicty for example, at least in specific instances though its broadness hasn't been well studied). Improve sentience, we improve our access. Simple emotional transference exercises where you even just say sit down for 15 minutes trying to change from 1 emotional state to the next changing to a new 1 every minute will reveal to you, very, very experientially, just what I mean by sentience, the feeling of sentience and the brains capacity for self intervention on state.
  2. @ajasatya One more thing that you may find interesting to contemplate: None of us can contemplate or create so much as a thought without meaning, thus to say that life has no intrinsic meaning is an unsubstantiated contradiction Given the relationship between cognitive syntax and the syntax of reality, otherwise expressed as C->R, this also renders your statement as not only unsubstantiated but invalid. Ultimate meaning is the entire purpose of reality, without it, reality would have no purpose to exist. Existence requires purpose for purpose is the building blocks for reality, the organisational principle that allows information to establish logical coherence to the point it can talk with itself to build further purpose. Purpose is the precursor to all intrinsic meaning and all meaning predicates the purposes that will be derived from the perceptual syntax designed to infer it, i.e. us. where we're back to C -> R. C->R is the binding loop between realities simultaneous self representation and self configuration, this is also the dual framework for establishing the logical predicates necessary for free will both from the perspective of reality and the free will of a human. This loop in a nutshell, is sentience, an engine that allows for cognition to have selection boundaries serve self optimisation parameters, aka, from evolution to self actualisation. Just some thoughts to consider. The logic is flawless but you can have a go at trying to crack it.
  3. And wow, as a reflection of the highest form of self awareness imagine how much it would change your life if you aware of everything in existence at all times... (something I'll experiment with - see how much I can actually be aware of simultaneously even though the modelling is only predictive haha) This is why self education is so important, so you can build an accurate model of reality, simulate things in real time and then be able to make intelligent assessments about what you can best contribute to the world. Thus in this sense, not only is there a war against sentience, there is a war against self awareness (again ='s realities level of awareness of its contents - from our human perspective when it applies to our relationship there) given our level of self awareness determines how well our models align with reality and in doing so, the degree to which our decisions are for the best maturation of existence according to our greatest wills.
  4. On the subject of words I really love the term sentience by the way, so much more clarifying than self awareness. In the literal sense all self awareness (from a humans perspective) actually means from a more accurate point of view is the degree to which reality is aware of its contents from the human subjective reference frame in any one moment - meaning modern references to the idea are incomplete and ultimately inappropriately split from reality. Sentience however has both really great practical and theoretical ground.
  5. @Victor Mgazi It's a very fascinating scenario but just in a nut shell, its sentience corrupted that's all. Sentience is the thing that allows us to have free will. Most depression and suicide related symptoms (including fear) would be healed through a training of the prefrontal cortex and general self governance training. Most humans have been corrupted by mainstream "unregulated" (and therefore chaotic) culture, and because their social governance does not facilitate their internal governance the likelihood that people will fall victim to negative states of being is much higher. Try at least 25% of the US population, and that's because of the socioeconomic structure that governs consumer options and because most of those act as social malware, its a successful statistic because it fuels people to be more dependent and therefore reliable unthinking consumers. The biggest war being waged on humans right now is on sentience, thus the cure is sentience.
  6. @Francis Trach Just my own 2 cents. For anything to have sentience it must have what can be termed "reality sentience". This means that to the extent that there is sentience, the person is aware of and can make adjustments to reality. This is the definition of free will. You are an aspect of reality, which is to the extent that you have sentience, free to transform reality. To this extent, you as reality, are responsible for every decision that is bound up and made within sentience, outside this, you are excused. Free will and sentience have a coupling which cannot be uncoupled, this is because sentience itself exists as a kind of freedom, this is why awareness appears as a kind of "nothingness", this is because this is the encasing by which contents can flow through and you can make changes to the universe through the synthesis that your consciousness engenders in its interaction with those contents. This doesn't mean we're "all powerful free will universal changing beings" of course, meaning free will exists on a spectrum and we exist somewhere to the right in the animal kingdom as well as individual differences existing right across the human population. Free will resides in the prefrontal cortex mostly, thus it is the place where people should concentrate most if they wish to improve their free will incrementally over the long term rather than have it diminish more and more with age due to misuse and lack of use. There's really no way out of free will unfortunately, and I seriously doubt anyone here would be able to logically falsify the statement. Reality exhibits ultimate sentience and therefore ultimate free will relative to that sentience, we are like tiny microbes as reality which have been granted with awareness to reconfigure along with reality in the larger picture of realities ongoing transformation and understanding of itself.
  7. Just because it doesn't add up to you doesn't make it false. It is well established that the same amount of calories will require far more ressources for beef than it will for various plant calories. Factory farming is in the majority of cases more environmentally friendly than roaming cattle due the the substaintial amount of land that is required to feed cows with grass. There is no such thing as a right to do anything. In my opinion it is also very ignorant to reduce this calculation to meat vs plant based. If I need to eat meat, does that mean I can factory farm chimps and dolphines or even humans for that matter, if I have access to beings that are less sentient? Just because you need meat doesn't mean you can just kill any animal whatsoever to get it, otherwise you could easily justify killing humans for meat production. If there is an alternative in my view any functional moral system will have to somehow reduce itself to only consuming the least sentient animals that is practically possible. This means something like this: If you truly require meat, eat mussels. If mussels are not available, eat insects. If insects are not available, eat fish. And so forth. You wouldn't just go and kill a human because you need meat, that would seem absurd. You can be absolutely healthy without consuming any beef whatsoever. For the absolute majority of people mussels and fish are easily accessable and a far more healthier alternative. It is not yet established that it is not possible to structure a plant based diet and still be reasonably healthy for the majority of people. This is just an assertion, and I would posit it to be a moral imperative for us to: A) Do our utmost best to not include products that cause greater suffering and exploitation in our diet and otherwise. B) If we do require some of them, make efforts to somehow aquire these products or essential nutrients in these products in a different manner (like supporting lab grown meat for example) C) Change our view that we are entitled to the most optimal health. To me it is inconsistent and self-biased to treat animals like cows, chicken, fish and so forth to any lesser degree than we treat mentally disabled people on the same level of sentience. I could not possibly conceive of a difference between them, other than reasons based on self-bias, that would justify the kind of argumentation you are providing. "You surely can't expect people to have unhealthy bodies purely so that we can save a few mentally disable people?" If you think this comparison is outrageous, I view it as evidence of your self-bias and speciesism. It is no different from racism.
  8. I do feel the humor when reading of Sciential minded theists seeking to prove the existence of their God. No,...science does not need a new paradigm to enhance the God meme,...they need to let go of their sentience so to view reality as it is. "the ego is a monkey catapulting through the jungle; totally fascinated by the realm of the senses....if anyone threaten it, it actually fears for its life. Let this monkey go. Let the senses go." Lao-tzu "The senses do not grasp reality in any way" Socrates However,...I do agree that there is an Intelligence at work,...one could say an evil intelligence that seeks to sustain itself and prevent egos from realizing the truth. There’s a relevant story in the Kevatta Sutta about God/Allah/Brahma the Magnificent. A talented monk who wanted to find out the answer to the question, “Where do the four elements cease without remainder?” Through meditation he reached the Heaven of the Four Great Kings, who did not know the answer. Next he went to the thirty three gods in a higher Desire Realm heaven, but none of these rulers knew either. He then asked King Sakka (Indra), the king of these gods, but Sakka did not know the answer. Up and up he went asking all sorts of gods at each and every higher level. Finally he came to Great Brahma, the Creator, the One Uncreated, Knower of All. When the monk finally achieved an audience with Great Brahma, Brahma appeared in all his majesty and glory announcing, "I am Great Brahma, the Conqueror, the Unconquered, the All-Seeing, All-Powerful, the Lord, the Maker and Creator, the Ruler, Appointer and Orderer, Father of All That Have Been and Shall Be." The monk then humbly and respectfully asked his question, but all Great Brahma did was repeat, "I am Great Brahma, the Conqueror, the Unconquered, the All-Seeing, All-Powerful, the Lord, the Maker and Creator, the Ruler, Appointer and Orderer, Father of All That Have Been and Shall Be." The monk eventually got frustrated and said, “I know you are "Great Brahma, the Conqueror, the Unconquered, the All-Seeing, All-Powerful, the Lord, the Maker and Creator, the Ruler, Appointer and Orderer, Father of All That Have Been and Shall Be," but I asked you a question about where the four elements cease without remainder. The Great Brahma replied, “Listen little monk, don’t embarrass me. All these other gods are listening and think I know everything. If you want to know the answer to a question like that, don’t ask me. I don’t know the answer. For a question like that, you have to go ask the Buddha.”
  9. “The mind cannot comprehend an entirely new idea until a corresponding vibratory brain cell has been prepared to receive it.” Charles F. Haanel. In the meantime,... “All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.” Arthur Schopenhauer. I'm not a mathematician,..was actually my least favorite subject while being indoctrinated into this sciential knowledge driven culture. Like most students with a major in philosophy, was instructed about countable infinity, positive infinity, negative infinity, cosmological infinity, potential infinity, absolute infinity,Zeno's paradox, etc., none of which interested me,...it was all about impermanence,...the simulation,...the Box,...and met many who went down that hard to escape from rabbit hole. What captured my curiousity was Zero. In the 90's spend a year in Palenque researching the Mayan cero (the white conch). Not an Empty Set,...but Zero,...that which does not does not include a Set. Zero upsets peoples sensory-based logic. While in Palenque got the opportunity to hang out again with Terence McKenna, among others. We previous spent time together in Charlottesville,...but the fresh mushrooms in Chiapas are primo. "There is no liberation to compare with freeing oneself from the illusions and delusions of the age in which one lives." Terence McKenna From a Spiritual point of view (that is, a non-sensory awareness of the in-breath and out-breath of duality), infinity has become a voguish topic among the sciential minded and New Agers tethered to an abundance of sophistry (personal truths). Unfortunately, theories about infinite space, time, and quantity are seldom considered as the imaginary math they are,...in contrast to applied or relative math (that is, how to live successfully in the Dream). This fantasy math, what Aristotle called potential infinity, is fundamentally limited, just as Space-Time is limited,...a finite volume that can be looped, although with a sensory appearence of a continuum. Among of the first things that someone serious about elevating their Conscious Awareness inquires about is accepting that the 6 senses (seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, smelling, and thinking) cannot observe reality. "Recognize that everything you see and think is a falsehood, an illusion, a veil over the truth" - Lao-tzu The patriarchal constructs of Priests of Science and metaphysical gurus thrive off of their sentience,...usually explaining their wisdom through concepts like Set Theory. For me, the word wisdom is a TELL that it's not a good moment to engage in conversation. Wisdom literally means knowledge accumulated through philosophic or scientific learning. In other words, wisdom points to the highest and most lofty ideas of ego consciousness, whose sole purpose is to sustain itself. Not much spiritual value in wisdom. "Convictions are more dangerous foes of truth than lies.” ~ Friedrich Nietzsche Infinity is a term whose accepted definitions point to a relationship with space/time, thus like space/time, infinity is not real. There is no "set" which is infinite beyond our perceptions. On another hand, Eternity, which is not a synonym of infinity, but that without beginning or end,... does not need space/time to exist. Time and eternity are contradictions. Quantum cosmologists Steven Hawking and Jim Hartle said in their No-Boundary theory, that the concept of a beginning in time is meaningless. That is to say, there was no Big Bang, no singularity, no creation, no Creator, no beginning nor end, because there is no time. Enlightened Bodhisattva's been saying that for a few thousand years through their realization of Timelessness. "To be proven wrong should be celebrated, for it is elevating someone to a new level of understanding.” Peter Joseph Merola When viewing broad slices of Space-Time within Dream's Box before the understanding of the Box, is a wonderous, albeit deceptive, conditional experience. For example, Most don't realize that each of the endocrine glands, associated with the seven main chakras, are all orgasmic. If one had a sentient experience with "infinity," it may be like three endocrine gland ejaculating,...a huge event for one used to only Root Chakra orgasms. Ego loves experiences that validate Dream's Box. Following such "infinity viewings" the unprepared novice often exclaims of having had a union with God,...and that is actually correct,...because God is synonymous with the One Lever upon which Duality effects its motion. However,...when the motion ceases, so does the One Lever that is God,...and the Still, Causeless Fulcrum,...Zero,...the Absolute,...Undivided Light,...our home is revealed. "As man unfolds from sensed man to spiritual man he gradually becomes aware of the two-way motion of all effect" - Walter Russell. There is nothing beyond the Box (metatrons cube). Nothing ever happens in the Box. . There is no Box,...it's a simulation,...there is no One Lever or Dual Movement. The Box is not "part" of the Fulcrum. Undivided Light,...the Tao,...is proof that no God exists. Know God, no Spirituality; Gnow Spirituality, no God. "The senses do not grasp reality in any way" Socrates
  10. Quite certain that no amount of mystical or divinely conditioned experiences will ever have a Direct Experience with the Absolute. Experience arisen through belief can only be experienced through the condition of that belief,...thus not a Direct Experience. The question of my Direct Experiences have neither been dodged nor denied. In fact I recall commentting on my first Unfeigned Surrender in Dec '74,...my first experience with Undivided Light. And it was mentioned that I not only retired 9 months following that tremendum, but had at least a thousand similar direct experiences. A more important question would be why are you and others insistent on hearing stories of direct experience? Yes,...I've had more Peak Experiences than the average Italian has had pizza in their life,...so what,...how does that help someone serious about the Great Juncture from sentient being to spiritual being take the leap? Someone once said,..."Go jump off a cliff. Don’t go near the cliff and contemplate jumping off. Don’t read a book about jumping off. Don’t study the art and science of jumping off. Don’t join a support group for jumping off. Don’t write poems about jumping off. Don't cling to a parachute as you jump. Don’t kiss the ass of someone else who jumped off. Just jump." To be clear,...I do not use the words of the awakened as Truth, without my own direct experience of Truth. In fact,...the words of the "awakened" that I use are always prior to experiences. And also keep in mind,...most quotes I use are not from the "awakened,"...but applicable to my message. For example,...T. S. Eliot was surely NOT an awakened being,...but on occasion I've used his quote, "Human kind cannot bear very much reality." IMO, quotations and aphorisms can serve as a mentoring device for those who venture into the liminal zone between duality’s sciential sentience and the sapiential consciousness of authentic spirituality. But again,...as mentioned before,...using quotations are an excellent TELL of those not really interested in Truth Realization,...but rather their own glorification and status. And to really aggravate those tethered to the Substance Levels of Spiral Dynamics,...the Spiritual Pretenders,...my last book is a Collage of quotes, with the messenger numbered instead of written out. "99.9% of the World's so-called wisdom, East and West, for the purposes of awakening, is about as useful as a glass of warm spit with a hair in it." Jed McKenna I'm only interested in the <0.1% who are actually desirous of Awakening. A Yellow (SD 7) who appears close the Momentous Leap said, "When you can write your biography on the size of a stamp and you still have space left over, then I would like to meet you."
  11. Yes,...there is a point to life,...and it's the same point for everyone,...of course ego will not except that. I can explain the point of life, but why? Some have explained it before, no different than others, yet adjusted for the language of that time,... but few have welcomed it. "Contradictions in perspective among those Seeing the profound do not occur" – Taranatha. Your question, "Is there point of life?" indicates that you're unaware of a single absolute truth,...so that could be your starting point if the answer to your question is serious. Most settle for making up a story so that it's more palatable for one's beliefs,...usually something "divine" fills in their blank,...and there is a most profound reason why some 95% of humanity believe in personal theistic story. “Your own Self-Realization is the greatest service you can render the world.” Ramana Maharshi "If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of your self." Lao Tzu, Huahujing The process to awakening is about uncovering truth,....not Relative Truth, which arises from the 6 senses,...but Absolute Truth,...and the way to uncover truth is letting go of all that is false so you can recognize what's left. "The real seeker of truth never seeks truth. On the contrary, she tries to clean herself of all that is untrue, inauthentic, insincere." Chandra Mohan Jain And keep in mind,..."Two truths cannot contradict one another” - Galileo Galilei If you ever hear someone say, "lets agree to disagree,"...they have no interest in truth. Now,...for the real scary part,...if you honestly desire to uncover truth,...you must let go of ALL your "personal truth." Personal truths are always lies. When you except that,...next step could be an investigation about why everything you see, taste, smell, touch, hear, and think is a lie. “All that I have tried to understand to the present time has been affected by my senses; now I know these senses are deceivers, and it is prudent to be distrustful after one has been deceived once.” René Descartes "Recognize that everything you see and think is a falsehood, an illusion, a veil over the truth" Lao-tzu "The senses do not grasp reality in any way" Socrates "Those who are greatly deluded about enlightenment are sentient beings." Dōgen Any teacher who does not expound on the nature of sentience has no interest in truth,...nor Spirituality. Bodhisattva's take a vow to help liberate sentient beings from their sentience for a reason.
  12. It is said that Yellow (SD 7) integrates to realize the highest potential,...thus they are open to learning/unlearning at any time and from any source, like bees that gather nectar from many flowers. There is such joy in communing with those interested in Self-Inquiry and uncovering their Unborn Awareness. As I'm not a teacher nor desire to waste my time dialoguing with those stuck in Substance Level paradigms, thus I often use quotes; because they seem to quickly identify those who lack integrity and honesty, and are easily distracted by predispositions, especially about the messenger. The quotes I use are never OUT OF CONTEXT with the context in which I'm using them. Using quotes both distances me from the label of being a teacher or attempting teach, and they often irritate narrow-minded, Substance Level people. Overall I'd like to connect with those who catch the point of the message, instead of drifting off with some predispositions about the messenger. Especially pathetic are those who believe a poster should use "their own words;" an instant TELL that they are First-tier thinkers. That said,....an applicable quote comes to mind for critiquing Ramaji's RASA 1000 LOC: "99.9% of the World's so-called wisdom, East and West, for the purposes of awakening, is about as useful as a glass of warm spit with a hair in it." While there are many unusable and unexpanded on references to Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta,...overall the book has nothing to do with Spiritual[ity,]...a word it mentions 500 times. For example,...the word "hope" is mentioned 26 times; yet it is only used correctly twice, in the same sentence,...and used without direct experience. "Hope is for fools,...drop your hopes." Ramaji. WHY? Hope is an important subject for anyone desirous of revealing their potential spiritual nature. Is there a more dishonest, perniciousness word than hope? hope n. from ME. hopa, an expectation. 1. expectation of something desired; anticipation of some future event. 2. a guess or belief. 3. that which gives hope; a substance or object hoped for; an expected payoff. No matter what level we wish to view it from, hope is false. Hope is an anticipation of the future; thus it must arise from a predisposition, a belief, and attachment to the past. Hope implies lack,...how else could we possibly define it? Hope is for something we think we don't possess. How could hope ever be expressed through an Open-Mind or Open-Heart ? The belief of hope is a barrier that obscures the present. If our attention is on seeking hope, how are we to ever experience the immediacy required to be in the Present? “the highest goal is being devoid of hope and fear…. And when all hopes and fears have died, the Goal is reached.” Tilopa Another very important subject for anyone wanting to experience the ABSOLUTE is sentience,....which is not mentioned in 1000 LOC,....although the term sentient is scribed four times with the wit of a typical Green (SD 6). "The senses do not grasp reality in any way" Socrates "Recognize that eveything you see and think is a falsehood, an illusion, a veil over the truth" - Lao-tzu Without understanding the senses,...how is one desirous of Awakening to the Absolute ever honestly going to uncover the Absolute? In the only mention of the "senses," Ramaji spews, "Enjoy your five senses,...be just this and nothing else,...this is it." Actually there are 6 senses,...seeing, tasting, smelling, hearing, touching, and thinking,...and I guarantee you, NO ONE can see, taste, smell, hear, touch, or think in the Present. “Phenomenally, we can know no present, as it must be in the ‘past’ before our senses can complete the process of recording it, leaving only a suppositional past and future; noumenally, there is no question of ‘past’ or ‘future,’ but only a presence that knows neither ‘time’ nor ‘space.’ ” Wei Wu Wei "Relativity says that the future and past have equal validity. All events are frozen in this giant block (Space-Time). We just happen to perceive one end of the block as the past, and the other end as the future, and that we are moving in a certain direction. But that's just a function of our perception, and doesn't reflect any physical reality." Ted Chiang "The idea that the future is no different than the past doesn't sit well with a lot of people, because we like to think of the future as being indetermenate, open-ended, and not fixed the way the past is. But physics suggests that the future is just as fixed as the past." Ted Chiang "When is Now? The now in our brain is actually the past, and admittedly, the brain does a pretty good job of compensating for its own delay by predicting the old future and therefore the perceived present; although runs into problems when the future is less predictable, like when swatting a fly." Hinze Hogendoorn Every page of 1000 LOC is enough to make a Bodhisattva nauseous for its attempt to step between sentient beings and their direct experience. And Ramaji's list of 400 teachers divined through muscle testing (a kinesiological technique which uses the BODY, which is not real, to print a biased number regarding the level of "spiritual teachers," the majority of whom don't have a clue what spirituality is,...including Ramaji. No one desirous for Self-Actualization would take this book seriously.
  13. The universe becoming conscious of itself,...LOL,...a universal ego,...like Sentient Beings who believe "i think, therefore I Am." A significant falsity in today's world is this paradigm of "i think,"....and its notions of Personal Truths and Me Stories built upon patriarchal constructs such as the delusion of individual consciousness. Nevertheless, sentience makes a quite compelling argument for itself among Sentient Beings. "How many of us truly want wisdom? We want many things, but who really wants wisdom? Gabrielle Roth. “Truth lies in the depth, where few are willing to search for it.” Goethe In the 80's I shown dozens of people how to not only pick up a better signal, but how to receive Other Stations,...and called it Fractal Riding. The seemingly infinite number of "stations" are all within the One Space-Time of this Dream. And keep in mind,...the Whole of Conscious Awareness is beyond Space-Time,....just as authentic Wholeness is beyond the sum of opposites. You may be wondering What the F*** is this guy talking about. Place yourself in ease in front of a mirror, and keep looking,...eyes to eyes,...quieting your thinking,...relaxing and softening your gaze,...letting go of mental inertia and being liberated from beliefs,....one begins to enter Full Spectrum sight,...an auric view,...don't freak-out as your face appears to distorts or change,...a beard may appear or gender switched,...allow,...just observe,...don't let thoughts interpret what you're seeing,...like people having an epiphany and then mentally declare that was God. Often, several faces appear quickly, as if one is "turning stations" too fast. When comfortable, focus attention on one station, that is, just one different face. As that attention is gained, the peripheral vision can see that not only your face is different, but that you're dressed different, and the background, like peering through a window of time. This is Fractal Riding. Just as one changes the frequencies on a radio tuner to hear a different "station," fractal riding reveals a multitude of other waveforms,...slices within space-time. "Relativity says that the future and past have equal validity. All events are frozen in this giant block (Space-Time). We just happen to perceive one end of the block as the past, and the other end as the future, and that we are moving in a certain direction. But that's just a function of our perception, and doesn't reflect any physical reality." Ted Chiang Fractal Riding reveals that all phenomenon can be viewed within the body of an individual radio receiver. There is no past nor future,...all is occurring simultaneously,...for ultimately, there is no time. The radio does not really exist. But then, that's another discussion. "The idea that the future is no different than the past doesn't sit well with a lot of people, because we like to think of the future as being indetermenate, open-ended, and not fixed the way the past is. But physics suggests that the future is just as fixed as the past." Ted Chiang Fractal Riding is a term I use for focusing on a Still Point, that is, the Zero, or harmonic interchange within waveforms. Often, when sharing this observable phenomenon in the 80's, I show a scene in the 1959 Disney Classic 'Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land' (on VHS), where a pentagam is zoomed into to reveal another and another pentagram. Fractal Riding is the moving into a Still Point, or Zero, through physical, albeit fuller spectrum sight, to reveal a multitude of other waveforms (or slices of Space-Time), just as if one changed the frequency on a radio tuner to here a different "station". We are not Beings of Consciousness, we are Beings with different levels of Conscious Awareness. On a one to one basis, or looking in a mirror, observing other "stations", literally, dimensions within our own perceived dimension, takes just a few minutes. Sometimes I'd begin by having the person relax and direct their attention on a point about 4 metres into a clear sky and view the prana globules dancing before them, or sometimes I'd have them focus on the edge of an evergreen, observing both the fuscia aura and prana that feeds it. Next, in a fairly lit place, preferably with my back to a solid off-white surface, I have the person, who is comfortably sitting about 4 metres away, focus softly, almost like a squint, on the crown of my head, until they see the first levels of my physical atmosphere, or aura. Usually, a person first witnesses a whitish fog, but as the eyes soften, this clears, and prismatic colours can be seen. Next, I have them lower their eyes to my face, preferably a point between my eyes. Within seconds, they begin to observe my facial feature distort and become other faces, ie., perhaps where there was no beard, now there is a beard, but even more, that is, they are no longer looking at the same physical person. Often, several faces appear quickly, which is simply that they are "turning stations" too fast. The idea is to focus attention on one station, that is, just one different face. As that attention is gained, their peripheral vision can see that not only my face is different, but that I'm dressed different, and the background, like peering through a window of time, fitting the period they are witnessing. This practice seemed like an interesting gateway to unfeigned surrender, which initiates the release of natural tryptamines. Most Sentient Beings are so base-energy focused,...not realizing that there are 7 orgasmic chakras,...most of which make a Root Chakra ejaculation seem like drizzle from swamp water. "Because yin and yang are not complete within us as individuals, we pair up to integrate them, and bring new life. Although most people spend their entire lives following this biological impulse, it is only a tiny portion of our beings as well." Lao-tzu
  14. I'll be increasing my consumption of veggies, but I have this recent objection to doing this, and it goes like this: If I'm to eventually go vegan and just eat plant-based food every day, and more people are going vegan, am I actually contributing to deforestation and inequality? Because My new demand for veggies would, together with vegans, influence the supply. And those suppliers would have to, depending on what fruits and veggies I and people want, clear land (deforestation) to create agriculture for veggies. the more demand for veggies, the more deforestation, which encourages an increase in cheaper labor. I've also recently watched a documentary on plants possibly having sentience, and I'm feeling a bit uneasy about eating them now. Any insight into this?
  15. Considering the number of people who claim to be "awake," most of whom contradict each other (exclaiming "their truth"), it should be apparent that there are many levels of "awake;" and few of which are actually Truly Awake. "Contradictions in perspective among those Seeing the profound do not occur" – Taranatha. More than 99.9% people on this planet are asleep,...95% don't even realize it's a Dream. "We have to learn to know what rhythm we're in, how to ride with it, how to shift; to sense what rhythm others are in, and how the different rhythms are complementary or discordant" - Gabrielle Roth. "What Rhythm are you in?" Jonathan Horan "Everything in the universe has a rhythm; everything dances" Maya Angelou "Where are you on the potentially endless wave of human evolution?" Ken Wilbur "To honestly inquire into our rhythmic signature, and realizing it, we acquaint ourselves with our place, and unique pathway to liberation." Gata de Aztlán There are several models to determine what level you're at,...such a Spiral Dynamics. At SD 9 (Coral), one is Truly Awake,...at SD 8 (Turquoise) one is Truth Realized,...at SD 7 (Yellow) one is Self-Actualized. "Only one in a hundred people become fully self-actualized because our society rewards motivation primarily based on esteem, [superficial] love and other social needs" Abraham Maslow Yes,...many First-tier Thinkers believe that there must be many "stages" beyond Coral,...but how can that be,...what's more awake then Awake? Many seek to "know themselves,"...and yet it is impossible to know Who you are, until you realize When you are. The crux is,...to realize When you are necessitates absolute honesty,...and Liberation from sentience. The senses can only know the past. "Those who are greatly deluded about enlightenment are sentient beings." Dōgen "The person who gathers knowledge through the six senses is categorized by the Buddha as a lunatic." Sabbe Putajjana Unmattaka. "The senses do not know, but man believes that his senses do know--and in that belief lies man's confusion" - Walter Russell Sentient Beings include all those in the lower 6 substance levels of Spiral Dynamics. Thus, SD 5 (Orange) considers themselves 'awake" compared to the Absolutist SD 4 (Blue), and SD (Green) believe they're "Woke" compared to the Individualists SD 5 (Orange) and all Others. Only at Yellow (SD 7) do entities open to learning at any time and from any source, like bees that gather nectar from many flowers. Millions and millions claim to be spiritually awake, yet I'd bet that 99.9% have no idea what the words spiritual or awake actually imply. One cannot realize Spirituality through the patriarchal paradigms of Form, nor what is Awake while dreaming. To be Literally Awake is quite easy to define,...and that definition applies to everyone. To be awake is to have a Conscious Awareness of the Absolute Present. Sentient Beings can only perceive the past. NO ONE can see, taste, touch, hear, smell, or think in the Present. "The senses do not grasp reality in any way." Socrates Dreams are the perceptions of ego while asleep in Duality. There is no dreaming without the Drego, typically occurring at night, and ego, typically occurring in the day. All dreams are about the past; extentions of patriarchal energy that can only perceive motion in one direction. Patriarchal energy is Yang, Particle, Form in denial of Yin, Wave, Empty of Form. The Feminine of Duality is not a gender of Form, but the Wave of a Particle. "The Buddha Shakyamuni often told his disciples to regard all phenomena as dreams." Gata de Aztlán "Treat everything you perceive as a dream." says the Lojong proverb to uncover Bodhicitta. In the later part of the fifth century BCE, Sakyamuni was said to be spending an evening with a family, and in the early hours of the morning, someone asked him, "'Do you dream?" Sakyamuni replied, “I used to dream; then I became Buddha (a Tathagata). The word Buddha is generally agreed to have come from the root bud meaning to be aware of, or awaken. Sakyamuni Buddha was thus an Awakened One. Buddha referred to himself as a Tathagata, one who doesn't Come and Go. "Thoughts come and go. Feelings come and go. Find out what it is that remains." Ramana Maharshi To paraphrase Adyashanti, a true Spiritual Master is one who shakes you awake, not one who tells you how to dream better. "A real Master is not a teacher: a real Master is an awakener. His function is totally different from a teacher; his function is far more difficult. And only very few people can stay with a Master because to wake up after millions of lives is not an ordinary feat; it is a miracle. And to allow somebody to wake you up needs great trust, great surrender." Osho
  16. "without taking earthly action"...is a First-tier concept. For example,...Meditators HATE me,...when I bring up the subject of Non-meditation. They have invested many, many years sitting,...it has become their opium. The most threatening thing for First-tier thinkers is the confrontation between everything they believe to be meaningful, and the reality that it is all meaningless. “If your purpose is to medicate dukkha,...then meditate. If your wish is bodhi,...practice absolute bodhicitta.” "Free yourself from meditation, practice non-meditation" - Kyergangpa Chökyi Senge Turquoise is a game changer,..it's the Great Juncture between Sense Beings and Spiritual Beings. Thus the First-tier speculation of Second-tier value systems , and First-tier understanding of Second-tier value systems, pivots from First-tier paradigms. Clare Graves was quite correct in saying, "First-tier thinkers (first 6 substance levels of Spiral Dynamics) cannot recognize the Second-tier on their own, and react negatively if challenged; lashing out whenever it is threatened." Spiral Dynamic Value Systems attempts to be a model for determining how we make a decision and set priorities in our lives. Value Systems within the 6 lower Substance levels of SD, being rooted in the senses, always pivot from falsity,...what Buddhists call the Five Skandhas. On the other hand,..."A wise man (Turquoise SD 8), recognizing that the world is but an illusion, does not act as if it is real" Bukkyo Dendo Kyokai. First-tier thinkers believe that the Turquoise (SD 8) who doesn't take action is unhealthy,...because unlike Turquoise (SD 8) they have no comprehension that Space-Time is One,...thus, there is no action to take,...only the following of Spirit without hesitation. Turquoise (SD 8) does not seek to be directly involved to solve complex global issues, but desires Sentient Beings to become aware of their sentience for what it is. Turquoise (SD 8) realize that suffering is a consequence of the desire for things to be other than they are. Buddha did not say don't desire,...but don't desire for things to be other than they are. Sentient Beings don't understand the way things are. "The senses do not grasp reality in any way" Socrates Because high functioning Yellow (SD 7) are open to learning at any time and from any source, like bees that gather nectar from many flowers, they are among the few who can converse with Turquoise (SD 8) in an unguarded way. Turquoise (SD 8) must engage the Substance Levels in carefully orchestrated ways, or find themselves being physically threatened. "People don't like their version of reality fucked with." Jed McKenna At Turquoise (SD 8) personal truths, 'me stories,' and individual versions of reality are irrelevant. Values of Turquoise include: Life is a Dream. Unfeigned surrender to the Spirit that underlies all Form. Metasensory insight. Absolute Truth. Elevating the Conscious Awareness of Humanity. the Other Compassion. Direct Gnowledge, not Past Knowledge. Emancipation from things Divine. Recognition of the in-breath/out-breath of rhythmic balanced interchange. Holistic view - Fulcum, One Lever, Yang and Yin. Unconditional honesty. Non-sensory intuition. Impersonal. Non-meditation. Transcender. Appreciation of the One Space-Time. Humility is merely a degree of pride. Real Emotion (vs positive and negative emotion). Unfabricated Present Awareness. Flow with Spirit without hesitation. Non-sensory integrity. Realization that Higher Self may be stuck. Aware of Absolute vs Relative. Avoidance of hope and fear. Liberation from the 6 senses. Simplicity and Ease. Selfless Living. Cooperative vs Competitive. One foot in the manifest, one foot in the Unmanifest.
  17. All those who "shoot the messenger" are caterpillars. "At the end of the day you're either a caterpillar or a butterfly, and the only way anyone will ever have even the slightest sense of what it means to be a butterfly is to become one. There are no butterfly experts among the caterpillars, despite innumerable claims to the contrary" - Jed McKenna Although I don't consider Yellow (SD 7) a butterfly, but rather those in metamorphosis,...Yellow (SD 7) has been said to be open to learning at any time and from any source, like bees that gather nectar from many flowers. Quotations and aphorisms can serve as a mentoring device for those who venture into the liminal zone between duality’s sciential sentience and the sapiential consciousness of authentic spirituality. “To read quotations is to live in a planet with multiple suns!” Mehmet Murat Ildan The quotes I use are never OUT OF CONTEXT with the context in which I'm using them. Using quotes both distances me from the label of being a teacher, and they often irritate narrow-minded people. Overall I'd like to connect with those who catch the point of the message, instead of drifting off with some predispositions about the messenger. "Many see a quote, and immediately form judgments about the user or the author of quote, and yet for those serious about Higher Conscious awareness, a quote is only discerned within the context the user was using it. " Gata de Aztlán “Focusing on a particular messenger (guru teacher) can be a major distraction on the spiritual path to self-liberation; it can take away from the importance of the message. The Message Is ‘Everything’.” Anon I mus Because so many have a predisposed negativity towards the messenger, I often like to separate message from the messenger; thus allowing for a more open-minded dialogue. "Following a recent State of the Union speech by President Trump, students at John Jay College were asked their opinions to a few selected quotations. The students responded unanimously, and reacting negatively, described them as warmongering, aggressive, and immature. Then the pollsters revealed that the quotes were actually from a previous SOTU speech of President Obama, the participants were surprised by theie responses." Cabot Phillips, Campus Reform Quotes can arouse and open new ways of seeing or observing. Just because I agree with U.S. President Ulysses Grant for saying that 'church property should be supported entirely by private contributions to keep church and state forever separate,' does not mean going into a debate about the life of Mr. Grant. Quotations should be about the message within the quotation, not the profile of the messenger. “In the garden of literature, the highest and the most charismatic flowers are always the quotations.” Mehmet Murat Ildan Serious seekers don't get obsessed or anally retentive over a messenger of a quote,...serious seekers look at the quote, and note if it (not the author) has value to the conversation. “A good quote is a beautiful bird! Wherever you meet with it, you will start flying with it!” Mehmet Murat Ildan "Until you spread your wings, you'll have no idea how far you can fly." Napoleon Bonaparte
  18. Much of Spiral Dynamics beyond the 6 Substance Levels are speculative for First-tier thinkers. Nevertheless, there are some pointers,...such as the characteristics and definitions of Turquoise (SD 8). Turquoise views life as a dream. This is because Turquoise has surrendered to the spiritual dimension underlying all Form. This synonymous with Bodhicitta,...those who uncover the Conscious Awareness of Bodhi perceive everything in Duality and Oneness as a Dream. “He who thinks of mind in terms of One or Many casts away the light and enters delusion” - Saraha Lao-tzu said, "If you wish to unite with the heart and mind of the Mysterious Mother, you must integrate yin and yang within" - Lao Tzu From my observations, more than 99.9% of humanity don't have a clue regarding Yang/Yin or Who's Who in duality. For example, the Feminine of Duality is NOT a gender of Form, but the Wave of a Particle. Walter Russell mentioned, "As man unfolds from sensed man to spiritual man he gradually becomes aware of the two-way motion of all effect." This is Turquoise (SD 8). Turquoise (SD 8) does not view "limitations" as the Substance levels do,...nor as Yellow (SD 7). Turquoise has transcended the pyramid of Maslow's Needs. I'm not saying there are no limitations, but that those who are not Turquoise (SD 8) or Coral (SD 9) would not comprehend them. Some other points,...there is zero Spiritual about SD 1-6,...or those identified with Maslows Heirarchy within that pyramid,...although more accurately put, SD 1-6 experience life through divided-spirituality,...the patrifocal half,...from which sentience lives. There are ZERO Spiritual teachers among SD 1-6,...some examples of caterpillars teaching caterpillars to be butterflies include: Neale Donald Walsch, Thich Nhat Hanh, Mother Teresa, Malala, and All Advocates of Inter-faith Movements. Thich Nhat Hanh is a great example of a high functioning Green in denial,...which is highly attractive to other Green's. Thich Nhat Hanh is in essences a psuedo Buddhist who grew a business giving Westerners, especially SD 6, what they want, reinforced with slogans like "Community is the next Buddha." No devotee of Thich's New Age rhetoric have any serious interest in waking up in this lifetime. As for "mystics." There are zero people at Turquoise (SD 8) who are mystics. Mysticism pretty much ends with Green (SD 6),..although some Early Yellow (SD 7) may carry residue until they emancipate themselves from paradigms connected with things divine. To realize Turquoise (SD 8) all things "divine" must be let go. Turquoise (SD 8) is synonymous with Avalokitesvara's Dharma Gate,...and liberation from sentience,...the 6 senses. Also,...Turquoise (SD 8) have no reason to meditate. Of course Greens who have invested years in "sitting," you will shout you down for saying so. A Clare Graves quote impressed me, "First-tier thinkers (first 6 substance levels of Spiral Dynamics) cannot recognize the Second-tier on their own, and react negatively if challenged; lashing out whenever it is threatened."
  19. First,...Sentient Beings attach a myriad of meanings to spirituality,...none of which are accurate. Spirit....from the Latin spiritus, or breath,...relates to the in-breath (yang, masculine energy) and out-breath (yin, feminine energy) of duality's phenomenal world,...that is, how this illusory Dream reality breaths. Spirit ONLY exists within the perception of separation. Without separation, there is no Spirit,..no Duality,...and thus no One. Without the Past, Spirit does not exist. There is no Spirit in the Present, just like there is no energy or mass in Undivided Light. Spirit is a manifestation of energy (positive and negative) intiated by the illusion of separation which instantly seeks union with the Unfragmented,...which it can NEVER DO,...because the separation is simply a Dream (not real). Spirituality is a recognition of Spirit,...not something that can be known or perceived through the senses or comprehended through the intellect (the 6th sense). "Sensing is but an electric tension set up by the seeming division of one into many which "strain" to fulfill their desire for oneness" - Walter Russell “He who thinks of mind in terms of One or Many casts away the light and enters delusion” - Saraha A Spiritual Adventure is an undertaking without belief. Experience initiated with belief, can only be experienced through the conditions of that belief, and thus not a direct spiritual adventure. "Man's sense-seeing with his eyes binds him to the illusion of Duality" - Walter Russell "As man unfolds from sensed being to spiritual being he gradually becomes aware of the two-way motion of all effect (Yang and Yin)" - Walter Russell. Only Sentient Beings believe in Oneness. Spiritual Beings, such as Bodhisattva's and Turquoise (SD 8) wish for the liberation of Sentient Beings from their sentience. "Love can never dominate the world until man ceases to live a primarily sensed existence and knows the Light of the spirit within him" - Walter Russell Higher asks, "What is Reality?" "The senses do not grasp reality in any way" Socrates
  20. remember said "if greens are not ready for a discussion about heart, it might be that they are still stuck in blue - heart chakra can be emotionally perceived if you are not ready to discuss heart chakra with green, maybe you are not there yet? sorry to be that blunt." Thanks for proving my point. Yes,...I understand it can be very difficult to hear that what you believe to be meaningful, is actually meaningless. At least Yellow (SD 7) would be open to learning at any time and from any source, like bees that gather nectar from many flowers,...the Substance Levels are as caterpillars,...feeding off the land,...without the slightest idea of what a butterfly is. As I quoted from Clare Graves, "First-tier thinkers (first 6 substance levels of Spiral Dynamics) cannot recognize the Second-tier on their own, and react negatively if challenged; lashing out whenever it is threatened." The lower 6 Substance Levels of Spiral Dynamics are tough places to be,...they believe they know all these things relative to their SD level, yet at Second-Tier all those beliefs are irrelevant. The lower 6 Substance Levels of Spiral Dynamics are Sentient levels,...Sentient Beings in need of liberation from their sentience (as the Bodhisattva vow implies). "The senses do not grasp reality in any way" Socrates "Recognize that everything you see and think is a falsehood, an illusion, a veil over the truth" - Lao-tzu "The senses do not know, but man believes that his senses do know--and in that belief lies man's confusion" - Walter Russell “All that I have tried to understand to the present time has been affected by my senses; now I know these senses are deceivers, and it is prudent to be distrustful after one has been deceived once.” René Descartes "True understanding does not follow from the sense-organs." Buddha "The only thing I do know is that when you open your eyes and look out into the world, there's one thing you are not seeing, and that is Now." Hinze Hogendoorn “Phenomenally, we can know no present, as it must be in the ‘past’ before our senses can complete the process of recording it, leaving only a suppositional past and future; noumenally, there is no question of ‘past’ or ‘future,’ but only a presence that knows neither ‘time’ nor ‘space.’ ” Wei Wu Wei "The entire illusion was never really there, The six sense-organs are also thus." Guan Yin/ Avalokitesvara "the ego is a monkey catapulting through the jungle; totally fascinated by the realm of the senses....if anyone threaten it, it actually fears for its life. Let this monkey go. Let the senses go." Lao-tzu "Do not seek it in the visible, or you'll be at it forever with no real results. It's not visible, it's not part of the senses, it's before the senses, prior to the senses." - Bentinho Massaro "you think the material universe is all there is? What mysteries lie beyond the reach of your senses? Who are you Dr Strange?" Ancient One; Dr Strange 2016 "Love can never dominate the world until man ceases to live a primarily sensed existence and knows the Light of the spirit within him" - Walter Russell
  21. All Being is sentience. ❤️ No wonder It's on my tail hehe. Turn TV on Alice in wonderland choping Dragon's head off lol. It is Just insane. It is Just pure awe. Ok I beleive I figure out rejoyce it is not so about Me how much it is for Reality. That's Why Humanity and Why I appear to be human. I improve All improves.I really hope so. Have faith in good.
  22. I am not quite sure what you mean. Perception to me is Being, I would say all Sentience is Being, but not all Being is Sentience.
  23. Yeah plant is always in bliss. It doesn't "know" It's plant doesn't "know" anything. Yeah next life plant or some rock. That one which comprehends and perceives is separated self cause of Suffering. In Truth you do not perceive you are sentience. God is not separated from creation. Can't really perceive anything don't I? But have to really beleive in that so BS Game can be pulled. What senses really are continuation of Love from Source. I am that Source and Everything, completelly alone. I will never be loved that's the only reason for deep sadness. I am Love itself yet as Source I Will never be Loved. That's the reason of slumber, when you are connected with Heart ofcourse you can't beleive any "other" can really Love you. Other is already you. Talking with myself, sorry.
  24. @Scholar What do you think about perception = sentience? In the sense, the delusion is required, thus making the intelligence of a plant, incomprehensible, based on the illusion one is comprehending (a delusion which the plant is not under)
  25. I am not a mind-body dualist so to me the concept of perception is delusional. There is simply a certain state of being, it is not "caused" by a brain. It seems like a certain state of being, namely sentience, is correlated to what we interpret to be a very specific form of interactions between wavefunctions. It is so particular that it can exist in the same form, namely the brain, with almost the exact same type of interaction between wave-functions, and still be present or not be present. This is the case in deep sleep, when what we call sentience is not present at all. The form of being that is present at that point is not sentience, it does not contain suffering or what our standard definition of "experience" is. Again, that state is so particular and specific that even brain-activity is not equal to it, as the brain is very active during deep sleep. The assumption is that this particular state of being, which we call sentience, is very particular to survival mechanisms, namely ones that require the complex nagivation of reality by immediate means. The organism of the human, even in the state of deep sleep, is far beyond the complexities any plant can provide. Of course plants are Being, thus they are consciousness, yet I do not think it is likely that they are what we consider to be sentience. They for example do not require ego, they do not require to suffer, they do not interact with other beings in the same way we do. They cannot run away from prey, they do not require a fear of death. All they require is deep sleep. A plant, in other words, does not require the illusion of duality, thus there is no difference between destroying a rock and destroying a plant. The intelligence contained in a rock is beyond comprehension, the difference from rock to plant is so slim it would make no difference, so is the difference between rock and human. I do not think intelligence implies sentience, rather sentience is a very particular kind of intellgence. In this way intelligence cannot be seperated from being/consciousness, but it can be seperated from sentience. Of course there is something going on in plants that the vast majority of humans are not currently aware of, but the same is true for a rock and the air your breath. Sure, plants might have a particular form of intellgence, they might resonate to different states of being, like particular aspects of human sentience. There could be plant sentience, but there could also be rock sentience, ocean sentience and so forth. I find that most people have a tendency to correlate a certain way of structured movement, which they call intelligence, to what they are in their waking state. But what about what there is in deep sleep? What would it mean to end a life that was in deep sleep for all of eternity? A life that could not remember anything, a life that was so immersed in being it simply was pure being. What would be the difference between ending that life and not ending it? I would argue in a similar way as far as AI goes, however I do not really believe that AI is possible in the way we think it is. Computers are Being no matter what, but when they become Sentience is to me a question of when there is a certain interaction of wavefunctions, a very particular kind, so particular we cannot even tell the difference between the waking state and the deep-sleep state. How I look at it: If the each neuron in the brain was a lamp, the light the lamp produces is not sentience, rather the interaction between all the light all the lamps produce is what causes sentience. A very specific kind of interaction is needed for a very specific kind of state of being. Infact, sentience is not "caused" by the interaction of the light, rather the interaction of the light is sentience. It is that particular kind of being, looked at by itself "interpreted" as one of those very interactions. You can also flip it all and say sentience causes the interactions, it doesn't really matter. Computers lack the lamps and they alsp lack the light. Computers are more like a system of strings that just pull on each other. Very rigid, no access to genuine Nothingness or Creativity. The Neurons, the Lamps and the Lights, are in a way directly linked to the "First Cause", Nothingness, Creativity. They are connected to the spark, not because of how they move or what kind of interactions they produce, but because of what they are. Basically, I think computers will only become sentient and therefore genuinely creative once we change the physical structure of the computers, maybe some sort of biological computers or quantum computers. Whatever the "brain" is "accessing" is not at all currently present in computers. This all is kind of obsolete to explain because in the end it is only an explanation in a materialistic framework. Certain kind of wave-formations (imagine perception-waves/being-waves) ARE Sentience. Neurons do not create or cause these wave-formations, rather they "tune" into them. In the end they are not truly seperate and the Neurons themselves are the waves aswell. While computers are also these waves, they do not tune into the same kind of wave-formations, much like a rock isn't. But even that explanation just misses the point, trying to explain this is like using a limited amount of rope to bind two poles together. Once you bind the rope to one pole, you cannot reach the other pole. Or, once you reach the other pole, the previous knot slips. I never said Plants aren't intellgience or not alive. I don't create dualities like life vs non-life or intelligence vs non-intelligence. A rock contains and is just as much alive and intelligent as a plant is, which is why I don't think sentience is correlated to intelligence or life. Sentience is a particular kind of being that is not present in plants, because a plant is not playing the same game we are. The plants "survival" game is so radically different, whatever state of being the plant is is foreign to our notions of suffering, ego, resistence and so forth. And also, being vegan is the best thing you can do for plants. If you say that plants are sentient, you would also have to say that each of your limbs might be sentient. Your hand grows all on it's own, in fact it will grow in all sorts of ways depending on what food you provide it and where it will find resistance. Is your hand it's own sentient being? If not, why not? Why does one body have to contain one sentience? Why do you think that different parts of your brain do not have their own sentience? How do you know each cell does not have it's own sentience?
