  1. @whoareyou Yes, you are right.

I'm not trying to hate on Leo but in my opinion he has evolved a big spiritual ego. If one reads his comments here on the forum, it gets very clear that he somehow feels superior now especially after his last enlightenment experiences. It almost seems as if it is not allowed to question or even criticize his insights. I've noticed many times that he does not respond correctly to some questions and prefers to teach people and reproaches them that they can not understand him because of their ego that stands in their way. One time he even made fun of some guy, laughed at him and called him a sheep. Noone except for him personally knows what he's been through but that doesn't sound like a wise man to me.

How is the world not you? if it is literally coming out of you.

but at the same time, you are the others.

    'When you've seen beyond yourself
Then you may find peace of mind is waiting there
And the time will come when you see we're all one
And life flows on within you and without you'

'Lay down all thoughts, surrender to the void,
It is shining, it is shining.

Yet you may see the meaning of within
It is being, it is being

Love is all and love is everyone
It is knowing, it is knowing'

  3. @Leo Gura @Leo Gura What's your current view on free will anyway? Have your last awakening experiences changed your view on free will?

I imagine that in the infinite God state we have free will and prepare our life exactly how it will eventually unfold. That means that when I'm experiencing myself as a human from an ego perspective, there's nothing I can do and everything unfolds exactly as it should be because that's what I wanted to experience.

What do you think about that? :)

You will never be able to prove that solipsism is true or false. You can only prove your own conscious experience that you have in this form as a human being. You have to decide if you want to worry about it all your life and eventually go insane or give yourself up to uncertainty and live in peace. All I can say is that I'm here consciously reading about your worries, but I guess that won't solve your issue. I've been constantly asking myself the same question but I've recently decided to no more worry about it because in the end it won't get you any further in your development. Stay strong.

  5. If free will didn't exist, what would be the purpose of intuition then? Even if free will was heavily limited, you could still choose if you either follow your intuition or your ego. It's up to you. The more spiritual advanced you are, the more free will you have. But you really need to accept yourself and live the present moment in order to make the 'right' choice.

Besides, it's often the case that people force themselves not to believe in free will just to cope with their past and decisions they made. It may help for some time to accept yourself because it's hard to take responsibility for your decisions. I've been there, too.

Me telling you these things now would potentially be a disservice to you.

    How so?

It seemed to me that you did not trust me to understand and apply your knowledge because I 'haven't taken the necessary time, effort, and "skin in the game" to understand it.'

Have you? Feel free to enlighten me.

Your ego and this realization are not compatible. They cannot exist at the same time.

That's because you haven't taken the necessary time, effort, and "skin in the game" to understand it. This isn't a light realization... You're going to have to follow all the ramifications, study it for hours and hours, and do the practices for weeks to even catch glimpses of this.

The answers you're seeking will only come when you dive in deeper and directly experience nonduality. Me telling you these things now would potentially be a disservice to you.

Sounds like you've developed a strong spiritual ego.

No, no one can do such a thing. Not even Leo. This is a personal question of how much you can drop your limiting beliefs and prove it to yourself.

What is "free will" fundamentally saying? It is that an action happens completely spontaneously by itself. An output with no input. REALLY think about that. Free will cannot exist in any form if there's even 1% outside influence on your decision process. Have you ever studied how you make a decision? Have you ever noticed how you can't control your thoughts or know what your next thought will be?

Free will was a false assumption fed to you by society to make you feel like you have freedom to make choices. It's ego pandering. It turns out this is the work of the Devil, because giving you this false assumption of control leads to all kinds of judgment, anxiety, and hatred. Giving you the idea of free will and freedom ACTUALLY ALTERS your decision process, many times for the worse! Any teenager could tell you this, or you could reflect on your own direct experience.

I don't care if any of this makes sense... It's just an invitation to explore the matter for yourself. That's the only way you'll truly know.

And even if society or the devil were 'responsible' for making us feel like we have freedom of choices, it could not have been any different, right?

I'm not a big believer in free will anyway, I just want to make peace with my ego which is still struggling with my assumption.

My main problem is that I can't deal with all the hatred, violence and war in our world. I can't just say: okay, everything is fine, they are not guilty because they don't have free will.

How would an enlightened person deal with that? 'Oh yeah, these people are me, we are all one, everything is fine if you rape that woman.'
