After just having finished the book "You are the Placebo" by Joe Dispenza yesterday and already starting to experience the exact kind of effects described in the book, especially after relativly little work, I agree and would place that whole domain of changing your system through consious thought, feeling and attention in general "alone" into the "mental or innerhealth" category. I think health is the think that you get by combining all the physical factors of sleep, diet and excersise plus their specifics and this mental and emotional domain. These separate parts of health all interact and influence each other.

@Natasha Tori Maru Tbh I think homeostasis is the most fundamental principle of health. Its like the frame in which all the rest is built in, but the frame and the inside are connected so if the inside is shit the frame will get moldy and break, if the frame is broken and the inside is great, the inside just collapses. So yea Homeostasis is very important, but you are missing like the other half of the equation.

@RendHeaven Stop projecting your bullshit on me. Speech itself is expression and you expressed that you simply lean towards the 100% meaning you are on the other side, its very simply, you just lack the "autistism" to see the truth. Stop interacting with me in general.
-
If you "lean" towards 100% priority on health, you are in the 90s and on the other side.
-
Stop telling me what to do in the responses or making assumptions about me. I think everyone who responded misses the point and the significance of health or what health even is. This post was simply made to make a point and show this perspective, take it or leave it. And #1 Priority simply means that in general you value it the most, you can still do things that go against the "perfect" health, like traveling to another country, thus damaging your sleep schedule etc, but over the long period of time, health is #1. This kinda goes with the point above. Homeostasis is very foundational to health, yes, but what if your homeostasis is sleeping 5 hours, eating pizza and burgers and just laying on your couch after stressfull work?

I want to make this post to make a point that in the optimal life your health is your #1 priority. Everything else, even your life purpose is built on the foundation of health. Sleep, Diet, Excersise and all the specifics within those, also mental/emotional/interal health The thing is: there is a dimensional difference between being normally healthy like eating 90% clean, sleeping enough and excercising 3 times a week compared to having health as your absolute #1 priority and everything else coming second, meaning same exact bedtime everyday, optimal sleep duration, optimising sleep quality by having your last meal at least 4 hours, optimally 9 hours before going to bed and other factors such as a winddown routine, avoiding excersise 4 hours before bed etc. same with diet and excercise. I think Leo is the perfect example of this. He certainly put a lot of value on health, but his work was for sure taking a lot more energy, draining his system over the years/decades and now his health is shit (if the situation is still the same, I wasnt active on this forum for a long time) and he is blaming everything on genetics, at least thats how I see it, ofc I might be wrong. Edit: Ofc I might be wrong but especially after seeing the responses im pretty sure im right about this.

And I think you miss the significance of that 2%, as well as the 1% in the "health = 99% genetics, 1% Effort, the 1% has control over the rest of the 99% Edit: it has the potential to control the rest of the 99%
-
I think Leo is basically black-pilled health wise at this point
-
I think he is just in a bad spot right now which corrupts some of his communications
-
That kinda sounds true to me

As far as I know genetics also react to your efforts like the classic diet, sleep, excercise and then also your experience and emotions. I think one of the most important factors when it comes to health is simply consistency, especially with sleep and diet. If you always change these habits then your microbiome never really has the chance to become stable which leads which I suspect might be your problem. If I remember correctly you built a rather unstable foundation in your youth (until 25) and then even after you started self-Actualization work you did night-time pick-up which destroys sleep stability, propably changed diet a few times, did tons of psychedelics that completely shake the stability of your psyche and in general propably experienced so much more stress on your system then the average person (work related and also just holding your integrity in the public eye). No wonder now your microbiome and thus your health is fucked and nothing seems to work. Even stuff like Joe Dispenzas miracle healing require a certain foundation to build upon. If you fuck up your body and mind for 10 years then you propably need an equivilant amount of energy to build it back up, even though if you completly focus on your health it will propably be less (look at Bryan Johnson). I think Bryan Johnson could actually help you tremendously. @Leo Gura

Hmm, Im still unsure because I stopped watching porn entirely like 277 days ago and I can definitly say my social interaction ability has improved dramatically, even already at around day 30 and I think it has gotten even better and also even since then I continiously get my life more under control via perfect diet, having a consistent and healthy sleep schedule and also working on my life purpose everyday a little bit and building more coherent habits. I have been working on all that for years and maybe now is just the time where it finally clicked and all comes together but I still feel like avoiding porn is playing a big part in all this.
-
I think thats false. From my own experience and people like Bryan Johnson. I feel a lot better and stable when my sleep schedule is fixed and I good sleep quality + I stick 100% to my diet and exercise
-
@Leo Gura So does that mean that in your mind its better or healthier for a developed person who is consious and mature to avoid porn?
-
@Wisebaxter I fucking love this concept, gj dude
