I am curious if anyone here can provide a valid, meaningful argument for why I, as a citizen, have a duty to protect the country I was born in with my life.

Countless Western governments are not right governments and still they do not call out Israel's crimes.
USA, Netherlands, Germany, France being prime examples. Right now none of these countries have right wing governments yet they did what I wrote above.
So I will repeat my question: Why the mass graves and massacres committed by Israel against Palestinians are not condemned by the non right wing Western governments (France, Germany, USA, Netherlands) like the massacres committed by Russians against Ukrainians.
What do you want to hear? Everyone is a hypocrite and the world is a shitshow.

@Yimpa yeah, I found her channel, it's great.

But in the few years I was diagnosed with it, I researched a lot about it and spent a fair amount of time in online adhd communities.
Also, how do I know if my diagnosis is correct?

@Schizophonia that's interesting, thank you for sharing.
At the moment, I feel like I have too little experience and knowledge to start tinkering with stuff like this, so I think I will just go with meds and see how it works. But I will keep it in mind for the future.

Idk, what those are to be honest. And I've never tried nicotine.

I see. I am leaning towards trying out the medication. Thank you.

@Yimpa how so? My understanding was that people who are born with adhd just have different brain chemistry, and that it's for life.
-
@Ulax do you have adhd?
-
-
@Yimpa could you share more, please?
What improvements / side effects have you noticed while on medication? Would you say that it helped you to then make those major changes that allowed you to get off the pills eventually?
What were you taking?
-
@Yimpa I've been working with a coach for about 9 months, with 2 sessions per months. She is in favor of me starting to take medication. So is the person who diagnosed me.
But I am still kind of apprehensive, and wanted to hear some outside opinions.
And yeah, I wasn't able to make any behavioral changes so far. I feel kind of stuck, basically.

Yeah

Is there anyone with adhd who is taking meds? Are they worth it?
I am afraid of it becoming a crutch or even actually doing more harm than good.
Also, does anyone know if microdosing can be an alternative?
@Leo Gura sorry for tagging you, but you seem to have a lot of knowledge about all kinds of drugs in general. Can you share your thoughts, please?
-
@Leo Gura why are you guys saying that Owen isn't physically attractive?
In my opinion, he looks kind of cool. I like his beard and his style in general. Sure, he is not Brad Pitt hot or whatever, but you guys are acting like he is ugly. -

Thanks, I actually don't remember this one.

@mmKay haha
Actually, I've just watched the anime called Elfen Lied, and MC there offed a lot of people. And now I am trying to explain to a guy on reddit how she is not really evil

Thank you

I am looking for an episode where Leo exaplains how God's love is absolute and how he loves and accepts even "bad" things like war and murder.
Does anyone remember which one it is?

What was supposed to happen? He walks into office and the entire corrupt system -- the courts, the billionaires, the military, the KGB, the mafia, the police -- just clean themselves up and play nice? No way. They plot to kill him.
Yeah, but you don't know how well he would have been able to handle that. It's not like you know him very deeply as a person.
Also, in my opinion, the kind of Russia, where Navalnyi could realistically become a president, would be inherently less corrupt already.

You don't know that.

He is a true martyr.
I feel sick.

@Nemra yeah, I can understand that.
Here is some context about what I am asking:
There were some changes to the mobilisation law in Ukraine, and some of those are aimed at getting back people who left the country before / during war.
Plenty of people seem to think that it is a right decision because men have a moral duty to go back and protect their country.
I disagree with that. Unfortunately, whenever I ask such people why do they think that it's my obligation to go back to Ukraine and fight, they are not able to give me a good response that makes sense. So I thought that I should ask here.
