...the best technology I've found are psychedelics, hehe
Air ionizer (cleans air and generates negative ions) has often made me feel fully focused. Diffusing essential oils can also be powerful. Vertical computer mouse has helped with wrist pain/sensitivity. Cryptocurrency investing as a safety hedge against "traditional" systems. Brave browser has spoiled me over the years, as I have forgotten how ads are displayed over the internet. Unfollowing people on Facebook to cut down bullshit posts. Searching facebook for nearby events and relevant groups for social purposes (good while traveling). Checking the repairability of an electronic/digital item before I buy it... iFixIt and repair guides for fixing parts, that are broken instead of changing the whole device (my phone has 3.5 years and my laptop close to 8). Fairphone looks to be the best phone company I've found and will buy their phone once mine dies.

What is your experience drinking moderate amounts of coffee daily?
I suspect coffee abuse is one of the big contributors to the osteoporosis epidemic in the west. Coffee being super acidic forces the body to pull calcium off the bone in the attempt to balance out the PH.
Anyway if you time it right coffee can be used well to improve your mental or physical performance. Just make sure you don't get addicted. If you can go off cold turkey for a week without getting a headache, you are managing it fine. If you get headache or nausea when off coffee, you have built up addiction and need to reduce your consumption or cycle in & out.

    CBD Oil
I personally never consume cannabis these days without CBD. I find it balances the high, makes it more pleasant, psychedelic and better for consciousness work and for your health. Trippier doesn't always mean its more Psychedelic.
CBD helps works on naturally restoring balance to the body and counterbalances the negative effects of THC and other things you do on a day to day basis that target your nervous system. CBD helps relax your nervous system from what i have observed.

    @Leo Gura
I did some research about heavy metal detox protocols and came across the cutler protocol.
Before I start with it I would love to hear your opinion about it because you already have experience about detox protocols.

    Cutler Protocol Summary:
    DMSA (50 - 300mg) every 4 hours
    ALA 30 - 200 mg every 4 hours

It is important to take it every 4 hours even at night.
You take it for 3 - 14 days (better to do it longer) and than make a break of the same length and than you start again until you are happy with your detox level.
Additional Supplements that help with the process ( vitamine B, C, E, zinc and magnesium are required)
    Vitamin C: 4-12 g per day
    Vitamin E: 1000+IU per day
Coenzym Q10: 100-400 mg per day
    Beta-Carotin: 7.5+ mg per day
Milk thistle Extrakt: (250-750 mg Silymarin) per day
linseed oil: 15-50 g per day
    borage oil: 1-4 g €per day
Inositol, or Inositol Hexaphosphat: 2-12 g per day
    Lysine: 2 g €per day
    Arginin: 6 g €per day
    Magnesium: 750 mg per day
    Chromium: 1000 µg per day
    Acetyl-L-Carnitin: 1-2 g per day
high dosed vitamine b complex per day
    Zink: 50-100mg €per day
    Molybdenum: 1,000 µg per day
Ergoloid mesylate (Hydergine  ): 10-20 mg per day

  11. Diet Tips
    Heavy metals
@Hansu I think at 3-6 per week you could start getting overboard, 2-3 seems about right,  but do some research on the frequency and see what's best  Ideally you should go for the tiny fish predominantly like sardines and eat them with bones to get a good supply of calcium and glycine. Eat them with a lot of vegetables and legumes to speed up colonic transit and reduce mercury absorption. Add to that a tablespoon of flax oil (non-fried) to get your EFAs covered.

  12. Diet Tips
    Heavy metals
@Hansu with fish it is important to avoid the large carnivorous fish including tuna, octopuses sharks. Small fish like sardines, anchovies mackerel and salmon have relatively low mercury load because they don't eat other fish and their lifespan is shorter. These 4 also have a high Omega 3 proportion.
I think I'd also avoid the bottom-dwellers (shrimps, shells etc) because all the sediment and pollution often sits on the bottom of the sea/ocean although many people eat them for their high zinc content.
But fish is not a necessity and can be replaced by eating flaxseeds every day (for ALA) and adding an algae oil to get enough EPA and DHA

  13. Health Tests to take
List of medical tests everyone should get done
Liver & Kidney tests would be a good start fo these. Seems like you may be having some detoxification/elimination challenges.
Food intolerances as well if you can get them.

  14. supplements advice
What are the best overall supplements to take?
First of all, before you start taking supplements you need to pass a blood test. To know exactly what you need to take. Supplements need to be taken for a certain period, and exactly as indicated in the instructions. For example, some vitamins need to be taken for 1 month and others for 2 months. Then you need to take the tests again and you will see if there have been any changes. Personally, I take vitamins that way (i order at the Canadian Pharmacy).  Now for three months I take vitamin D and calcium (as the analysis showed below normal) and iodomarine. Then there will be a break and tests will show how to proceed.

  15. supplements advice
What are the best overall supplements to take?
These are some supplements that are natural and good for your general health, will replace lots of the single-vitamins/minerals and have a high bioavailability. Also good against parasites which strain your digestive system a lot and much more difficult to overdose than e.g. vitamin d etc.
Be careful to buy only bio-products, you don't want pesticides in your body.
    Spirulina + Chlorella tablets
    Goji berries
    Turmeric + Piperine capsules
Hemp seeds (best unpeeled and unroasted)

Omega-3 is good, as well as vitamin d, but the latter you should combine with vitamin k2 and best in combination with mct-oil (it's available as one mixture) due to bioavailability and a multi-effective use within the body.
Also be careful with the calcium, don't take it too often. Very important for a vegetarian lifestyle is iron and vitamin b12. Iron has its highest bioavailability together with vitamin c, so you could take iron tablets and combine it with some Acerola powder (as a fresh and healthy drink mixed with water).

  16. supplements advice
What are the best overall supplements to take?
I would stop taking calcium, it has blood clotting effect when taken as a supplement. I would also quit coffee altogether, cold turkey.
I recommend everyone to take B12 as methylcobalamin. Use the cronometer website/app to track your vitamin and mineral intake. Don't rely on supplements. If you are low on any micronutrients, work  on adding foods that contain them.
Even for Omega3, i highly advise against fish oils, for many reasons. Try to eat ground flax seeds, soaked or ground chia seeds and/or hemp seeds for your Omega3's. If you insist on a supplement, choose one that comes directly from algae.
The only other supplements i deem worthy at this point in my research are mushrooms, such as Paul Stamets offers (not affiliated in any way). Lion's Mane, Cordyceps, Reishi, Turkey Tail etc. They are amazing for the brain, like truly, truly amazing.

  17. supplements advice
What are the best overall supplements to take?
    +1 to quitting coffee
Maybe it'll even discard the need to supplement the nutrients you lose from drinking coffee

  18. supplements advice
What are the best overall supplements to take?
Firstly, quit the coffee. Coffee drains vitamins and minerals from the body. Nothing good about coffee. Keep taking the vitamin D3, as most of us do not get enough sunlight.
I've been a supplement experimenter for a few years now and the best ones I can recommend are B-Multivitamin, Turmeric, Magnesium, Zinc, Vitamin C, and Flaxseed Oil.
I went to the local health shop and asked 'what do I really need?' and they said the above listed. A lot of other supplements are good but not necessary, are a placebo, or a waste of money.
With a good clean diet you could already be getting what you need...

  19. supplements advice
What are the best overall supplements to take?
    Hi Roy,
I'd reconsider calcium supplements. If you take them for a specific reason, just make sure it's calcium citrate and not carbonate.
I think the most important ones to take are fish oil (but choose a good brand), creatine, d3, vitamin k2, and iodine.
Magnesium is also a must for most people but I don't think you need it if you eat  a lot of leafy greens and legumes.
If you're almost vegetarian, It's also a good idea to get tested for zinc, b12 and iron.
B12 is probably a must for you, I recommend methylcobalamin.

@Member not sure if you are joking or not.. but that's some pretty unsafe advice
.@electroBeam consider looking into cortisol:dhea testing. It may be that you have a rapid spike of adrenal hormones at night. Sometimes people experience this. Make sure to do salivary not blood test.

My insomnia won't ever go away its sad
    Order of things to try:
Meditation -> Melatonin -> CBD oil (preferably full spectrum) -> Oleamide (most likely to work, but perhaps try the others first).

  23. Insomnia tips
My insomnia won't ever go away its sad
Try meditation, corpse position, when you cant sleep.  Also throw some yoga nidra in there, there's some great guided yoga nidra vids on YouTube. Don't try to go back to sleep, but allow yourself if the desire arises. Don't do anything else between the 8hr sleep window besides sleeping, meditating, and yoga nidra.

This is going to be controversial, but just try it. Eat nothing but beef for a week and see if that changes anything.
This is coming from someone with 10 years experience with severe debilitating insomnia, now completely cured with no chance of relapse.

  25. Attraction
A question for women about "creepy" men
@Don Wei If you give a genuine compliment, and you aren't complimenting her with the purpose of manipulating her to sleep with you, then you will get a positive response.
Women respond to the underlying intention behind every word that you say. This is given away by your sub-comminication such as body language and tone of voice.
I give women compliments frequently. And they almost always respond with a laugh and a smile because I'm socially calibrated and cool. The secret is to give the compliment GENUINELY and with a friendly smile. I'm not expecting her to approve of me, I just say what's on my mind. If a man is trying to trade compliments for sexual favours...that's creepy.
The same goes for insults. If you're physically attracted to a woman, that's great, but take the attitude that you don't know if you want to sleep with her or not until she proves to you that she is cool/interesting. If she says or does something that you think is weird/lame/awkward...then SAY IT in a fun and playful way.
"Wow, you said didn't know how to dance but I didn't know it was THIS bad! ;)"
"You really don't know the capital of Canada? Haha wow that's pretty dense *while laughing*"
So, basically, when a man gives CONSISTENTLY HONEST feedback about what he thinks about the girl...then his compliments are to be trusted as genuine.
    Sometimes the best opener is...
"Hello! I'll be honest, I walked over to talk to you because I thought you were good looking *said while smiling/laughing + direct eye contact*
    What's your name?"
It's never about WHAT you say and always about HOW you say it.
