  1. I Have Had Enough Of This
I Have Had Enough Of This
It will take some time for Leo to find humbleness. He believes he has it figured out, but there is nothing to figure out. Even worse, there's no one to figure it out. Once you get how simple things are, you stop creating delusions. Leo's intentions have always been good but his teachings have been corrupted by the ego who insists on knowing rather than letting go. His ego hates the idea of not knowing, and so he hates wise old sages who never give the secret away, knowing full well the secret would immediately get corrupted by the ego who lusts for control.
Stop taking things personally. The reason you're upset with Leo is you attach your own perspective to his whim. Do not do this, develop your own whim instead. Maintain inner silence and truth will have nowhere to hide. Best of luck.

    Self Actualization and Video games
The fact is that great games come out pretty rarely.
The biggest mistake made by gamers is when they play every average game under the sun simply because they got nothing better to do.
Just play the cream-of-the-crop releases and you will see that you will have plenty of time for business and relationships and other things.
But if you play indiscriminately, they you will waste your life.

  3. Trusting Life
    Trusting Life
I don’t have clarity about how my life turns out to be career-/purpose-wise. I don’t have a plan/vision set out about where I’m going and what I’m trying to accomplish long-term.
I don’t have a specific craft that I’m working on. Rather I, myself, am my own craft.
I deeply feel that the most important thing in my life has been finding my own truth independently and setting deep values for myself. The only thing that I can actually do is to take the next step, say the next word, and take the next action based on my truth and values.
I know that I’m a part of a bigger whole and I’m exactly where I have to be. Everything is perfect. Every situation is turning out to be exactly as it should be.
I deeply feel that my calling is to become a highly conscious individual, self-aware and loving; to be highly functional and beautiful like an instrument that is being played by the Universe. I’m taken care of; I’m being played the perfect music at all times - there are no wrong decisions in life, there is no failure.
I know that my job is to ground myself as deeply as possible in my truth and act on my values and the rest is taken care of. I’m going exactly where I have to go, deeply trusting Life.
I know that in this way - honing myself as an instrument, I'm preparing myself for a big gig, and I surrender to the Universe completely, to play me when the time comes.
Trusting Life is my Perfection and Freedom.

High quality TV shows are great tools for self-actualization
I'd say it depends on where you are in your personal development journey. If you have achieved all your life goals, are insanely happy, have a loving partner, everything you ever wanted, and your psychology has been sufficiently reprogrammed, go ahead and enjoy the show with your partner.
When I look for a movie I look for comedies and light hearted ones. "50 First Dates" is a particular favorite of mine. Basically things that promote affection, laughter, and positive emotions and/or help me expand my tolerance levels for different perspectives in life without being too violent or bloody.

    Many interesting questions.
As a whole, movies and tv shows are Art in the same way as literature, music or theater is.
They are an experience, like everything else we experience.
So I feel like there are many different ways you can use them for self-actualization.
What is a movie in essence other than pixels on a screen? An immersive story. Stories have been used for centuries to deliver information in an entertaining way. And many people seem to enjoy stories.

    Insights
You can get insights by watching a movie. Think about your current situation and how it relates to the contents of the movie. This requires that you are open to take the possibility that what was told in the movie is true and of value for you. Of course not every movie is made for this but Insights sometimes come in even the most surprisising circumstances.
Moreover a good movie will make you start asking question. By presenting interesting scenes and withholding information until the very last moment. Think about how you can make things in your life more interesting or see thing in a more interesting way and ask more questions.
    Open Mindedness
You can use movies to open up to new ways of living and new perspectives. We tend to watch movies with characters we like to identify with (because that is what movies do, they make you identify with people on the screen). You can increase your capacity to see thing from different perspectives, especially when you watch movies you might otherwise would not watch. Maybe a different genre, or a movie from a different country than what you are usually interested in.
    Focus
More on a side note but watching a movie or series for any length of time requires focus. If you find yourself wandering off in your mind or getting sleepy just come back to the movie. Only watch movies or series mindfully. Don't let the noise and images just rain on you. Try watching a movie with a lot of information and see if you can follow it. Or try to watch an older movie that seems kinda boring to us now because we are used to more fast cuts and action.
    Emotions
Movies are fine tuned to evoce your emotions. If you want to watch a movie because of emotions they can be a great medium to feel more connected with yourself. Set the intention to feel all the emotions the movie wants to make you feel and really open your heart. Then again think about ways in which you can integrate these emotions into your life.
This is one of the main reasons why people watch movies. Before watching a movie make a conscious decision how that movie might make you feel and why you want to feel this way. Knowing why you want to feel certain emotions or maybe even need to feel certain emotions is a powerful insight. You don't want to use movies to fill a hole in you. Instead, use this information to work on your emotional mastery.

We watch movies because they make life appear more fun, interesting and magical.
Instead of using this to escape your reality, try if you can bring some of that fun, interesting and magical stuff into your life. Think about practical ways how you can do that.

  6. Can you do success work and enlightenment work at the same time??
Can you do success work and enlightenment work at the same time??
    @longusername12345
Observe - thinking about it will only bring predictions, not solutions.
Remember that direct experience trumps thinking.
You can only know how that week detox will affect you by going and doing it. No one can tell you how it will turn out but you.
    Maybe it will help you.
Maybe it will make you lose progress - in which case you would have learned something new, and have a new vantage point to reevaluate your course of action.
You will learn something either way by experience, not thinking. Treat your life like a science experiment, over time you will further hone in on your wants and desires.

Follow what feels good. I wish you the best of luck ?

  7. Enlightenment/personal Development Movies
    Enlightenment/personal Development Movies
Here's a nice list that'll keep you occupied:
    Vanilla Sky/Abre Los Ojos
"Even in my dreams I feel like an idiot who's about to wake up." - A near-perfect allegory of enlightenment.
    The Truman Show
"We accept the reality of the world with which we're presented. It's as simple as that."
    Dark City
"Sleep, now." - Reality is not what we think it is.
    Blade Runner
Philosophy on the trustworthiness of memory. Great for dispelling beliefs about who you think you are.
    The Fountain
"Death is the road to awe." - Ego's failed attempt to live forever, and then finally saying 'yes' to surrender to Truth.
    The Matrix
Plato's cave allegory. One of the best allegories for enlightenment, except for the fact that Neo's new reality is not the Truth. Also, really entertaining.
    Joe Vs. The Volcano
A fun, allegorical presentation of the path to enlightenment.
    Pan's Labyrinth
        On overcoming fear and ego.
    American Beauty
Disillusionment upon disillusionment. A man who wakes up halfway through his life. Watch for Ricky Fitts.
    Apocalypse Now
The horrors of realizing the truth and what you have to do to get there. Also note how ego exalts their leader.
    Cast Away
A man forced awake. Wilson represents everyone else.
    Dead Poet's Society
Think for yourself. Be a heretic.
    Nineteen Eighty-Four
2+2=5. You can believe yourself out of an idea as powerful as love.
    Pleasantville
More heresy, and ego's resistance. A fun one.
Star Wars (+The Empire Strikes Back)
The hero's journey. Dying of the flesh to be born of the spirit. Surrender. Unlearning. Human Adulthood.
    The Thirteenth Floor
The unreality of reality. "Turtles on top of turtles".
    Waking Life
Thought-provoking ideas. Belief-destroying ideas. The dream allegory explained well.
    About Schmidt
The stark fact of your death.
    Total Recall
        More flimsy memory philosophy.
    What Dreams May Come
        Flow/manifestation.
How To Get Ahead in Advertising
Ego failing to overthrow itself. Pretty dang funny.
    Being There
        The wise fool and flow.
    Fight Club
"Why do you think I blew up your condo? Hitting bottom is not a weekend retreat. It's not a goddamn seminar. Stop trying to control everything and just let go! Let go!"
    The Thing
Philosophy on what it means to be a self.
    Harold and Maude
American Zen. A funny feel-good movie.
    500 Days of Summer
Love as we know it in modern society is bullshit. Is anything ever a coincidence?
    The Giver
Human Adulthood, heresy, and breaking free. Read the book; waaay more powerful than the movie.
    Watchmen
"We are all puppets, Laurie. I'm just the puppet who can see the strings."

    Enjoy!

Dating at different stages of the spiral / levels of consciousness
If she is stage Blue, that's just too low to be worth it.
    Orange/Green might be workable.
    Green is workable.
Basically, look for Green girls and then work with them to upgrade them to Yellow and Turquoise. You're not really gonna find any Yellow/Turquoise girls so don't count on it.
What you really want to avoid is solid Blue and solid Orange girls. Leave them to screw their own kind
