  1. This is a playlist by a very insightful, video essayist, of video games that he found meaningful. I personally think Life is Strange and Detroit Become Human are spiritually enriching games for understanding choices, how we make them, and what makes them meaningful.
  2. This guy freakin loves his job.
  3. Afroman is a comedic stoner rapper and he truly mastered his craft. He is a man who lived his life purpose. His music has a magical frequency to it. Vice recently made a short documentary about him:
  4. I’m 17. When I first turned 17 I started doing LSD. I went on a few trips, called it good, and moved on with life. Just today, one of my coworkers, a super kind, spiritually intelligent dude looked at me and said, “You’ve done psychedelics before.” We talked about it and he says he’s totally down to be my trip sitter on 5MEO-DMT. Should I accept? Is this too young of an age to be using psychedelics? Any advice? I’ve been eating super clean all year, a medical medium lifestyle, so my brain and body are unreasonably healthy and happy. What do y’all think?
  5. Hey Leo! In your Advice for College and High School Students video, you recommended staying far away from credit cards. I spoke with a financial advisor the other day and the first thing he said was to get a credit card and build good credit while I’m young. Everyone around me at work says I’m stupid for challenging that idea and that I need a credit card. Is it worth it?
  6. That’s the thing. I’m not even 18 yet!
  7. Awesome, thanks for all the tips guys!!! My key takeaways are credit cards are useful, don’t depend on them, and use them responsibly. Love you all!
  8. Noted. So you use a credit card? And loan cars? I recall you advising to stay away from all loans, has this changed? Are car loans okay?
  9. All of don miguel's book
  10. Are the authors of these books worth checking out? Are they trustworthy sources for other books and seminars and courses and stuf?
  11. Last week I was having a lot of trouble in my yoga practice then I realized, "What if I'm going about meditation in the wrong way?" So here's my guestimate about what the right order to do different types of meditation techniques would be. Cathartic Moving Meditations Yoga (the meditation kind) Normal Meditation Any thoughts?
  12. Or flying Jesuses. There's a lot of those around here
  13. SO. HARD. to sit still. lots of darkness. never had to face it before. It feels like getting loose a bunch of blocks first will help me face my darkness, rather than suppress my urges to move and just sit there and do the technique and go fucking crazy
  14. Shit man, no wonder you're profile pic is so... sobering hahaha
  15. After a couple years of attempting various sitting meditations and one yoga system, I read some shit by Osho that said (I'm paraphrasing here), "If you try to sit with all your bullshit, you'll go crazy! Do a meditation where you voluntarily go crazy, then you'll find the stillness within!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then once you dance all your blocks out, THENN you can try all the sitting meditations in the world." So I downloaded his book ""Meditation: The First and Last Freedom" and although confusing and contradictory, very insightful book. So I tried the first meditation listed: Dynamic Meditation, which I've attempted in the past, and is extremely hard. Think extreme self-expression catharsis meets intense cardio workout. https://www.osho.com/meditation/osho-active-meditations/osho-dynamic-meditation I put on the recommended music and started going wild in our backyard (we have a lot of neighbors so I was extremely self-conscious at first) and it was cathartic I think but Stage 3, I had trouble keeping my hands in the air (my shoulders and calves were burning like hellfire, and during Stage 4, when I was supposed to be completely still, my arms slowly fell down to my sides. It was almost unbearable to stand completely still and I couldn't take it so I went to the music and skipped to the Stage 5 music but then I thought "I completely fucked it up." so I just quit and here I am now. I feel super weird. And osho warned that if you do it wrong you'll break your mind or sum shit. What do i do
  16. Okay, sounds good. Thanks, man. The Osho Meidtation book says to try a technique for 3 days then if it resonates do it everyday for at least 3 months or so. Would you agree with this? Also the intent of this, is to get out all the blocks I need to to go back to sitting yoga and meditation. Any tips and suggestions?
  17. Yeah I feel slightly lighter. Less bullshit. More spacious. Definitely kind of a weird cracky feeling in my head, which is probably the result of not integrating surfaced traumas in the best way hahaha. Also got vaccinated right after so that may also have an effect. I might try it tomorrow if my arms not too sore
  18. Dang do you still hold true to the concept of lifelong learning? And if so, in what form does it change into?
  19. My two playlists I update regularly: The Mix - a crackhead amount of various vibes and genres to vibe to The Mix Pt2- a crackhead amount of more swaggy and clout-inducing music to vibe too
  20. You don't HAVE to read anything but there is definitely truth to this, most of the most profound life-changing books I've found on my own and not all from one book list. From my experience, it's all about what resonates with you. If it feels magical and exciting in a sense, then you're way more likely to pay attention to the messages in the book, apply it to direct experience, and enjoy it more! Finding a good book is like searching for treasure and coolest treasure imo isn't just in one place handed to you. But Leo's booklist is a great foundation and I'm excited to try to read them all. Osho, Adyahsanti, and Ramaji have sum powerful ass books. The Fundamental Wisdom of The Middle Way looks like a good starting place.
  21. I may be uninformed but from my current knowledge, the book list was supposed to update every year? Well it's been more than 2 years, when are we getting that update? Cheers, -William
  22. Fuck yeah, out of curiosity, how frequently do you read? How many books do you go through in a year?
  23. Ohhh okay. Do you plan on updating it in the future or is the final edition? haha just curious. love you man, cheers
