  1. Solipsism
Rupert Spira and others on Solipsism
    Solipsism History

    Gorgias
Solipsism was first recorded by the Greek presocratic sophist, Gorgias (c. 483–375 BC) who is quoted by the Roman sceptic Sextus Empiricus as having stated:
    Nothing exists.
Even if something exists, nothing can be known about it.
Even if something could be known about it, knowledge about it can't be communicated to others.
Much of the point of the Sophists was to show that "objective" knowledge was a literal impossibility. (See also comments credited to Protagoras of Abdera).
    Descartes
The foundations of solipsism are in turn the foundations of the view that the individual's understanding of any and all psychological concepts (thinking, willing, perceiving, etc.) is accomplished by making an analogy with his or her own mental states; i.e., by abstraction from inner experience. And this view, or some variant of it, has been influential in philosophy since Descartes elevated the search for incontrovertible certainty to the status of the primary goal of epistemology, whilst also elevating epistemology to "first philosophy".[citation needed]
    Berkeley
Portrait of George Berkeley by John Smybert, 1727
George Berkeley's arguments against materialism in favour of idealism provide the solipsist with a number of arguments not found in Descartes. While Descartes defends ontological dualism, thus accepting the existence of a material world (res extensa) as well as immaterial minds (res cogitans) and God, Berkeley denies the existence of matter but not minds, of which God is one
    Hinduism
The earliest reference to Solipsism is found in Hindu philosophy in the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, dated to early 1st millennium BCE. The Upanishad holds the mind to be the only god and all actions in the universe are thought to be a result of the mind assuming infinite forms.[21] After the development of distinct schools of Indian philosophy, Advaita Vedanta and Samkhya schools are thought to have originated concepts similar to solipsism.[citation needed]
    Advaita Vedanta
Advaita is one of the six most known Hindu philosophical systems and literally means "non-duality". Its first great consolidator was Adi Shankaracharya, who continued the work of some of the Upanishadic teachers, and that of his teacher's teacher Gaudapada. By using various arguments, such as the analysis of the three states of experience—wakefulness, dream, and deep sleep, he established the singular reality of Brahman, in which Brahman, the universe and the Atman or the Self, were one and the same.
One who sees everything as nothing but the Self, and the Self in everything one sees

such a seer withdraws from nothing.
For the enlightened all that exists is nothing but the Self
so how could any suffering or delusion continue for those who know this oneness?
    — Ishopanishad: sloka 6, 7
The concept of the Self in the philosophy of Advaita could be interpreted as solipsism. However, the transhuman, theological implications of the Self in Advaita protect it from true solipsism as found in the west. Similarly, the Vedantic text Yogavasistha, escapes charge of solipsism because the real "I" is thought to be nothing but the absolute whole looked at through a particular unique point of interest.
Advaita is also thought to strongly diverge from solipsism in that, the former is a system of exploration of one's mind in order to finally understand the nature of the self and attain complete knowledge. The unity of existence is said to be directly experienced and understood at the end as a part of complete knowledge. On the other hand, solipsism posits the non-existence of the external world right at the beginning, and says that no further inquiry is possible.
    Samkhya and Yoga
Samkhya philosophy, which is sometimes seen as the basis of Yogic thought,[23] adopts a view that matter exists independently of individual minds. Representation of an object in an individual mind is held to be a mental approximation of the object in the external world.[24] Therefore, Samkhya chooses representational realism over epistemological solipsism. Having established this distinction between the external world and the mind, Samkhya posits the existence of two metaphysical realities Prakriti (matter) and Purusha (consciousness).
    Buddhism
Some interpretations of Buddhism assert that external reality is an illusion, and sometimes this position is [mis]understood as metaphysical solipsism. Buddhist philosophy, though, generally holds that the mind and external phenomena are both equally transient, and that they arise from each other. The mind cannot exist without external phenomena, nor can external phenomena exist without the mind. This relation is known as "dependent arising" (pratityasamutpada).
The Buddha stated, "Within this fathom long body is the world, the origin of the world, the cessation of the world and the path leading to the cessation of the world".[25] Whilst not rejecting the occurrence of external phenomena, the Buddha focused on the illusion created within the mind of the perceiver by the process of ascribing permanence to impermanent phenomena, satisfaction to unsatisfying experiences, and a sense of reality to things that were effectively insubstantial.
Mahayana Buddhism also challenges the illusion of the idea that one can experience an 'objective' reality independent of individual perceiving minds.
From the standpoint of Prasangika (a branch of Madhyamaka thought), external objects do exist, but are devoid of any type of inherent identity: "Just as objects of mind do not exist [inherently], mind also does not exist [inherently]".[26] In other words, even though a chair may physically exist, individuals can only experience it through the medium of their own mind, each with their own literal point of view. Therefore, an independent, purely 'objective' reality could never be experienced.
The Yogacara (sometimes translated as "Mind only") school of Buddhist philosophy contends that all human experience is constructed by mind. Some later representatives of one Yogacara subschool (Prajnakaragupta, Ratnakīrti) propounded a form of idealism that has been interpreted as solipsism. A view of this sort is contained in the 11th-century treatise of Ratnakirti, "Refutation of the existence of other minds" (Santanantara dusana), which provides a philosophical refutation of external mind-streams from the Buddhist standpoint of ultimate truth (as distinct from the perspective of everyday reality).[27]
In addition to this, the Bardo Thodol, Tibet's famous book of the dead, repeatedly states that all of reality is a figment of one's perception, although this occurs within the "Bardo" realm (post-mortem). For instance, within the sixth part of the section titled "The Root Verses of the Six Bardos", there appears the following line: "May I recognize whatever appeareth as being mine own thought-forms";[28] there are many lines in similar ideal.

  2. Iboga
    About iboga
Tabernanthe iboga seems to have more promising and life-changing results than any psychedelic i have experienced or read about thus far. I have read and seen some amazing results. It is said to be the Grandfather of plant medicines. Many have described and said they wouldn't even class it as a psychedelic, rather a true entheogen(plant medicine) due to how powerful and effective it is, where most people only need a full (flood) dose once, while with other psychedelics can take multiple sessions to reach such a deep reset to where you no longer need the substance.
Some have also experimented and stated that micro-dosing Iboga is far more effective than traditional psychedelics to which one can reach deeper insights and levels of self-awareness with a micro-dose (250mg to 500mg of rootbark powder) to which is in comparison to a medium level trip on traditional psychedelics(LSD, Psilocybin, Ayahuasca, Mescaline) ect.. while being lucid and able to do daily tasks. Pairing with Cannabis has also shown exceptional results similar to higher doses of Iboga alone.
For Addictions, Trauma, Disorders, it seems Iboga is Unparalleled. A potent anti-depressant which can last in your body up to 6 months, although after effects can last a lifetime depending on your lifestyle. One article stated that while psychedelics like Ayahuasca take you farther into the cosmos and universe, Iboga takes you deeper into the core of your being. This is why it is said with Iboga you can actually integrate the experiences more effectively because it doesn't take you beyond your core self/earth life (what is actually relevant in the here and now), while others focus more on cosmic and universal truths beyond this life and realm which can be a struggle to integrate and translate into earth-based frequency/lifestyle or language. There however have been some fatalities with Iboga because it can build up in your system and interact negatively with some medication/supplementation similar to ayahuasca, so best do your research and under the guidance of a Iboga shaman would be most wise.
Would be interesting to see someone who has tried both Iboga and 5-Meo to compare especially with a EEG machine to scan and compare brainwaves. I wouldn't think its wise to comment on both if one has not experienced both directly. Although based on what i have read, Iboga seems to be more successful than 5-Meo or any psychedelic for that matter, especially when it comes to Addiction, Trauma, Psychological Disorders and our general physical life on Earth.
I think its still fresh because its more rare to come by and the few horror stories keeping most uneducated people away, but if you really do your research, you will be amazed, most people actually have amazing experiences, especially when following proper shamanistic and medical/diet guidelines and proper set/setting as Iboga although, is predominantly a Masculine energy, it also provides Feminine energies if necessary, so it will provide what you need most, a true plant medicine. It effects seem to go hand in hand with deep meditation/introspection/self-realization.
Hope this helps clear things up.

  4. Goddess
working with deities, spirit and magic
Now that someone has mentioned that you work with dark entities, you say that you have worked with Kali, however I have had a connection to this goddess for about 3 years now.
If you were using black magic or were mixing evil and were also using her energy she would not put up with that, I know this because I have attempted to do it before and was chastised both times.
Kali is associated with ego Transcendence and is a protector goddess, she is a fierce mother.  She is in fact a destroyer of demons, so if you are claiming to have genuinely worked with this entity and are also saying that you are working with dark magic then you are lying.  Absolutely without question because I genuinely work with this deity.
It sounds to me like you probably have your ego in the mix and that you think that these gods are your personal toys to play around with in order for personal growth and that's simply not the case.
Do you know how to attract one of them genuinely I will tell you: You follow what they say truthfully in your heart.  You absorb those messages to the point where your viewpoint allows you to see them.
They are not so fickle and stupid that you can just offer something for them and that they will do something in return.  This goes completely against how summoning them works.  Don't ask for anything at all let them show you what they need to show you.
I hope you understand the hypocrisy of trying to summon a goddess that devours demons and then you claim that you use black magic and summon demons.
With love from Kali, greenhorn, don't be an idiot and stay away from Black magic the dogma that you have found is probably from people who understand more than you do.

  5. We do we want we can to we love
    David R Hawkins
Your existence is a tautological necessity. It never depends on any statistical material conditions.
Your chances of existing are 100%! Since here you are!
Since you are here, you can't not not be here.
There are many material reasons when you look at it from a statistical, collective perspective.
But the nice thing about being a self is that you don't need to look at yourself from that perspective. As a self you can do many things which are otherwise statistically or collectively impossible or improbable.
So, for example, the statistical, collective chance of your enlightenment is less than 1 in 10 million. But if you seriously want to become enlightened your chance is 100%. Becoming a millionaire is statistically far more likely than getting enlightened. And yet here we are talking about doing both.
Don't worry about how the game is rigged. Go be massively creative and you will overcome all the odds and rigging.
There is nothing stopping you from using your creative mind to invent some new gadget, product, service, or art which will generate $1 million in value.
You could go write a popular song which will earn you more than $1 million. A single song! All you gotta do is invent it. A single fucking song! And yet here you are whining and playing victim.
If you'd put as much energy into being creative as most people do in playing victim, you'd solve all your money problems.
I'm not blaming or judging you. I'm just pointing out that you're creatively fucking lazy.

  6. To contemplate
    How to Achieve Sustainable High-Consciousness?
@AleksM Hope you don’t mind but I found the “stages” from your link so clear and precise I thought I’d just post them here. Question for you also...I would say one’s reality - as in surroundings & relationships - their ‘microcosm’ - miraculously transforms along with them somewhere along these stages of awareness. If you’re view is similar, where would you estimate that it begins to become apparent that this was happening all along?

Shame – Just a step above death. You’re probably contemplating suicide at this level. Either that or you’re a serial killer. Think of this as self-directed hatred.
Guilt – A step above shame, but you still may be having thoughts of suicide. You think of yourself as a sinner, unable to forgive yourself for past transgressions.
Apathy – Feeling hopeless or victimized. The state of learned helplessness. Many homeless people are stuck here.
Grief – A state of perpetual sadness and loss. You might drop down here after losing a loved one. Depression. Still higher than apathy, since you’re beginning to escape the numbness.
Fear – Seeing the world as dangerous and unsafe. Paranoia. Usually you’ll need help to rise above this level, or you’ll remain trapped for a long time, such as in an abusive relationship.
Desire – Not to be confused with setting and achieving goals, this is the level of addiction, craving, and lust — for money, approval, power, fame, etc. Consumerism. Materialism. This is the level of smoking and drinking and doing drugs.
Anger – the level of frustration, often from not having your desires met at the lower level. This level can spur you to action at higher levels, or it can keep you stuck in hatred. In an abusive relationship, you’ll often see an anger person coupled with a fear person.
Pride – The first level where you start to feel good, but it’s a false feeling. It’s dependent on external circumstances (money, prestige, etc), so it’s vulnerable. Pride can lead to nationalism, racism, and religious wars. Think Nazis. A state of irrational denial and defensiveness. Religious fundamentalism is also stuck at this level. You become so closely enmeshed in your beliefs that you see an attack on your beliefs as an attack on you.
Courage – The first level of true strength. I’ve made a previous post about this level: Courage is the Gateway. This is where you start to see life as challenging and exciting instead of overwhelming. You begin to have an inkling of interest in personal growth, although at this level you’ll probably call it something else like skill-building, career advancement, education, etc. You start to see your future as an improvement upon your past, rather than a continuation of the same.
Neutrality – This level is epitomized by the phrase, “live and let live.” It’s flexible, relaxed, and unattached. Whatever happens, you roll with the punches. You don’t have anything to prove. You feel safe and get along well with other people. A lot of self-employed people are at this level. A very comfortable place. The level of complacency and laziness. You’re taking care of your needs, but you don’t push yourself too hard.
Willingness – Now that you’re basically safe and comfortable, you start using your energy more effectively. Just getting by isn’t good enough anymore. You begin caring about doing a good job — perhaps even your best. You think about time management and productivity and getting organized, things that weren’t so important to you at the level of neutrality. Think of this level as the development of willpower and self-discipline. These people are the “troopers” of society; they get things done well and don’t complain much. If you’re in school, then you’re a really good student; you take your studies seriously and put in the time to do a good job. This is the point where your consciousness becomes more organized and disciplined.
Acceptance – Now a powerful shift happens, and you awaken to the possibilities of living proactively. At the level of willingness you’ve become competent, and now you want to put your abilities to good use. This is the level of setting and achieving goals. I don’t like the label “acceptance” that Hawkins uses here, but it basically means that you begin accepting responsibility for your role in the world. If something isn’t right about your life (your career, your health, your relationship), you define your desired outcome and change it. You start to see the big picture of your life more clearly. This level drives many people to switch careers, start a new business, or change their diets.
Reason – At this level you transcend the emotional aspects of the lower levels and begin to think clearly and rationally. Hawkins defines this as the level of medicine and science. The way I see it, when you reach this level, you become capable of using your reasoning abilities to their fullest extent. You now have the discipline and the proactivity to fully exploit your natural abilities. You’ve reached the point where you say, “Wow. I can do all this stuff, and I know I must put it to good use. So what’s the best use of my talents?” You take a look around the world and start making meaningful contributions. At the very high end, this is the level of Einstein and Freud. It’s probably obvious that most people never reach this level in their entire lives.
Love – I don’t like Hawkins’ label “love” here because this isn’t the emotion of love. It’s unconditional love, a permanent understanding of your connectedness with all that exists. Think compassion. At the level of reason, you live in service to your head. But that eventually becomes a dead end where you fall into the trap of over-intellectualizing. You see that you need a bigger context than just thinking for its own sake. At the level of love, you now place your head and all your other talents and abilities in service to your heart (not your emotions, but your greater sense of right and wrong — your conscience). I see this as the level of awakening to your true purpose. Your motives at this level are pure and uncorrupted by the desires of the ego. This is the level of lifetime service to humanity. Think Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Dr. Albert Schweitzer. At this level you also begin to be guided by a force greater than yourself. It’s a feeling of letting go. Your intuition becomes extremely strong. Hawkins claims this level is reached only by 1 in 250 people during their entire lifetimes.
Joy – A state of pervasive, unshakable happiness. Eckhart Tolle describes this state in The Power of Now. The level of saints and advanced spiritual teachers. Just being around people at this level makes you feel incredible. At this level life is fully guided by synchronicity and intuition. There’s no more need to set goals and make detailed plans — the expansion of your consciousness allows you to operate at a much higher level. A near-death experience can temporarily bump you to this level.
Peace – Total transcendence. Hawkins claims this level is reached only by one person in 10 million.
Enlightenment – The highest level of human consciousness, where humanity blends with divinity. Extremely rare. The level of Krishna, Buddha, and Jesus. Even just thinking about people at this level can raise your consciousness

  7. Vibrating
    How to Achieve Sustainable High-Consciousness?
    @Faceless
    Yes, nothing wrong with that.
From my perspective, if the frequency raises, that initiates a transmutation process of lower frequencies and so if one maintaints this high vibrational state and Works on bringing oneself in higher alignment every day, then the quality of the life experience Will increase.
Imagine being aware of your reality shifting 1000x faster than now. The old images and content would appear to be changing much quicker. This is basically consciousness work from a different perspective.

When one is meditating one is raising the frequency of consciousness, so it makes sense to find more ways to raise the frequency even more. I don't see much benefit in being aware of a low consciousness experience (low quality), I see amazing benefits of being aware of a higher consciousness experience (higher quality). Emotions are better, the overall feeling state is better, situations are amazing, health is good...
    A few ideas to contemplate:

  8. After taking note
A New Approach - Action Steps from Notes.
I've been watching videos from the beginning. I am skipping videos not relevant to me.  And taking notes. I'm keeping the content aside on Onenote, and picking out action steps from each video, if any.
    Here it is so far:
    1. You're not taking action. Track a trail of action before you complain of it not working out for you.

    2. Use the Sedona Method to eliminate Resistance.
Step 1 : Feel the Resistance, don't think about it
Step 2: Could I let this feeling go?
Step 3: Would I like to let go of this feeling
Step 4: When can I let go?
Step 5: Repeat the cycle at least 4 times before you judge it for not working.

    3. There will be plateaus whilst you try to progress. Expect it. Be consistent on something as simple as practice when trying to master something. Repetition of an action will drill it into the subconscious mind.
    4. Failure will give you valuable reference experiences (A causal relation between action and result), also you want to be experimenting and figuring out how things would not work.
    5. Be driven by your vision, not by your problems. Counterintuitively when you try to avoid something because it causes you discomfort, that will lead to you being unfulfilled as compared to when you are driven by vision and you're excited so you discount the discomfort and pain.
    6. Don't expect constant climax. If you overstimulate yourself, you lose the sensitivity to life, and fail to appreciate the subtle richness of it all.
    7. Multitasking will make you miserable. Work in block time (60-90) minutes followed by a 10-15 min break. Focus on one thing at a time.
    8.  Everyday you will face a choice between comfort vs growth. Choose growth over comfort. You have to be willing to fail, accept some risk and go out there and do stuff. Otherwise you are going to be a bird in a cage, and you will not want to get out even if the cage is open.

  9. Consciousness/ Vibration
What Does It Mean To Raise Your Consciousness?
    @Leo Gura @Chrissy j
Raising your consciousness means raising the vibrational frequency of your being. This improves the quality of consciousness. This raises the level of consciousness. This expands consciousness. God is a frequency.

  10. What I did the opposite
How to actually integrate all teaching of Actualized.org?
Pick the topic you are weakest at, such as Emotions, Happiness, Confidence, Life Skills, and start watching some of those under the appropriate category.  I would stay away from watching too many enlightenment videos (something I did and wasted too much thought on) unless you are emotionally ready and plan on taking some psychadelics. Make sure to embody it, and try to take a break for a week or so here and there and work on what you learned from the videos.

  11. Inspiration
    Raising your consciousness
Pick any topic of human endeavor, and you can become much more conscious of it. For example: politics, mathematics, science, language, nutrition, ecology, business, finances, animals, government, design, architecture, agriculture, history, culture, religion, dating, family, education, etc, etc.
You could design and build your own conscious house, for example. Probably a good idea for a conscious person to live in a conscious dwelling.
You could even design your own conscious city! I once had a coaching client who's dream was to build an underwater city.
There is no end to it. It's infinite!
When it comes to consciousness of your own mind, there will still be plenty to become conscious of there. Emotions are so tricky, it will take you 40 years of practice to become fully conscious of them.
And then there is the realm of spiritual powers like astral projection and paranormal stuff, which is a very deep rabbit hole.
Sadhguru built and consecrated his own temple! It nearly killed him.
So there is much to do!

  12. Some favs
    Powerful Psychedelic + Meditation Technique
Ive been working with combining psychedelics and meditation for my spiritual evolution pretty intensely for the last several years. Here is a technique that can catapult you to the spirit realm. I have had experiences with the Divine that I could never begin to communicate. Although the experiences vary widely, I have experimented with some techniques that will reliably take you into the spiritual deep end.
Here is one of my favorites:
    1. Create a comfortable "sacred" space with a TV/large monitor in your view. Put a picture of sacred geometry on the screen. I have experimented with a few but this is my favorite: https://wallpapersafari.com/w/R7oKhc I also like a dimly lit room with some candles. If you like incense, that might be a nice add.
    2. Get hyper-present. Become aware that you are experiencing the present moment. Get even more hyper-present. Meditate for 20+ minutes to clear your mind and focus your energy. Search yourself for attachments and aversions that might still be clinging to your energy. Let go of your attachments and accept your aversions on the exhale while breathing. Visualize yourself breathing in cleansing light to fill the vacuum on the inhale. Do this until you feel your energy is purified.
    3. If your so inclined, ask that the Divine blesses your holy sacrament (psychedelic). In your minds eye, visualize a light coming down from the top of the universe. The light represents love and beauty. Breath in the light on the inhale and breath out the light into your aura on the exhale. Visualize intensely your aura getting brighter every time you exhale.
    4. Some people dont like music but personally, I prefer music. The reason why is that you can go a higher dose with less chance of a challenging trip. I have done it with music and without and I usually go with music. I dont feel that it detracts from the experience in any way and makes it more enjoyable. The trick is to not focus on the music. Its just something that plays in the background.
    5. Take your psychedelic and meditate, while listening to music (if you choose).
    6. Once you are starting to trip, focus very intensely on the center of the sacred geometry picture. Hold your concentration. The more intensely you can concentrate on the very center point of the picture, the deeper you will go. After a 5-10 minutes, you should start entering into samadhi. Reality will start to look holographic and you will get the distinct impression you are in another realm. If you feel some fear from the shock, KEEP GOING! Keep concentrating for another 5-10 minutes harder than you ever have before. Go as deep as you can. Your ego will completely dissolve and you will experience a very intense bliss and calmness. Some very interesting things happen with the patterns in the picture. You will have a new understanding of sacred geometry.
    7. After you are in a high state of samadhi, turn all that focus inward onto the experience of experiencing the present moment as it flows. Try it with your eyes open and with your eyes closed to experiment. Become hyper-aware that you are aware. There are many levels you can go with this and it depends on how intensely you focus on your own awareness in the present moment.
    8. Keep alternating between 6 and 7 as many times as you like. There is something synergistic about alternating these.
    9. Since I cannot explain the experience in words, the experience will speak for itself

If you try this, I would love to hear how it went for you
