Not so many great movies

It is so sad.
Most movies I’m just not interested in.
Watching more YouTube videos than movies.
But I just watched a movie Otto by Tom Hanks and it was lovely.

@StarStruck Maybe try some independent films i.e. via mubi. Perhaps you'll come across a more niche director you really like

The last movie I watched was Pig.

Pretty good.

There are tons of great movies, you just have to look a bit deeper for them, the big box office movies are mostly garbage these days.

@Leo Gura if you like nick cage.  You would probably like Mandy - it's got psychedelics in it and the visuals give off that vibe.

Pre-ordered a ticket for the new Christopher Nolan movie "Oppenheimer."

Haven't been this excited for a movie release in years! :D

Last good one I watched was The Last of Us

I don't really like movies, they're too short and I appreciate a longer story.

2 hours is simply not enough for me.

However a series can also be unreasonably long like Game of Thrones where they fill 10 seasons with just dialogue (wtf?), I think there's a sweet spot somewhere in the middle.

And at the same time, many writers and directors have a hard time not fucking up the story by making it longer. It's hard to be original when you consume so much movie content.

Justin Timberlake has the movies "In time" (it's about everyone having 25 years to live and you have to work to gain more time) and "friends with benefits".
