About Tolerance there is this subjective experience LSD chart done by the community as a rule of thumb. As you said is only for LSD but it can give some guidelines.

This is the equation:
y= x/100*280.059565*n^-0.412565956

@Davino Yes, but this is not science, this is an reinforced urban myth.

It would be a little bit accurate for LSD, but then... Who the hell knows how much LSD they are getting on their blotter. LSD blotters are commonly misadvertised, like 90% of it. Basically, only synthetic analogues like 1P-LSD straight from Lizard Labs can be trusted to really be 100 mcg per tab.

The same applies to mushrooms, you don't know the potency of your mushrooms, some are weak, some are strong.

Such tests should be done on a standardized extract or a close synthetic analogue of psilocybin.

@Enlightement As I say, very very improbable.

It might be hard identify an unknown substance in mushrooms. To say it's exactly this. BUT IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO SYA THERE IS SOMETHING UNKNOWN, but we don't know what. And in those mushrooms that had been analyzed there was nothing unknown. So a chance of finding a compound like 4-HO-5-MeO-DMT in them is very, very, very small.

Apart from that, this compound might not be even worthwhile to purse. We don't know anything certain about it, other than that it probably can be synthetically synthesized. (We can't be sure even of that, as it has been done back in 1965, and chemistry papers from that much back in time are unreliable.)

Don't be mad at me, but your account stenches like PR efforts from the church. Intelligent, tactical effort, but still empty PR effort.

Call me paranoid, be we are dealing with overtly smug people who have called their organization "a church". They think they are smarter than lawmakers, they probably believe they are smarter than some drug-loving hippies and are not afraid to use sociotechnique on them.

Church of the Sacred Synthesis March 7 Press Release

The Church of the Sacred Synthesis (The Church) is pleased to announce that it has confirmed the presence of Psilomethoxin (4-HO-5-MeO-DMT) in its mushroom fruiting bodies.

These findings have been independently confirmed using triple quadrupole LC/MS instrumentation at the Chemical Purification, Analysis, and Screening Facility supervised by its director at the University of South Florida (USF) on Tuesday March 5, 2024.

The Church made the Psilomethoxin reference standard that it promised and will be able to test submitted sacramental Psilomethoxin contained in fruiting bodies provided by others who grow the sacrament on their own.

The Church has a distribution partner who will be making Psilomethoxin available over the counter (OTC) in a GMP formulation.  We have a biotech partner who will be making Psilomethoxin OTC in a GMP formulation from yeast using gene editing.  We have a university partner who will be conducting clinical trials on Psilomethoxin on the way towards an FDA indication.

The Church has sued Usona and others for defamation in Texas state court in Austin.  The basis for our suit is that Usona is liable for their test of the anonymous unauthenticated sacrament due to the reckless disregard for the truth (actual malice) in the failure of their methodology to extract Psilomethoxin using methanol rather than water which Psilomethoxin is soluble in.

@forestfog why did it take them so long to provide a third party test results considering they were bombarded by negative views towards their product? This raises some questions.

Did they make any changes to their Growing methods? Maybe.

@forestfog Still as insane as always, with all this suing talk. Have they informed their customers about the presence of illegal Psilocybin still present in those mushrooms? It's good that they finally got the reference standard. I am still staying skeptical of all their claims. They have proven to be unserious people. Need extraordinary evidence to change my opinion.
