Your top 3 of Leo's Practical teachings?

10 posts in this topic

What are your favourite teachings of Leo from things such as wearing an elastic band and flicking yourself when you realise you are being judgemental, writing 10 things in your journal about your asshole boss lol or trying to be aware of the sensation of your ears to improve body awareness?

Feel free to post as many as you like.

What are your top three?

I like the techniques you listed there. Can you tell me a little bit more about them and where you got them from?

my top three are

1. Actuality 2. Solipsism, and 3. Contemplation

“Our most valuable resource is not time, but rather it is consciousness itself. Consciousness is the basis for everything, and without it, there could be no time and no resource possible. It is only through consciousness and its cultivation that one’s passions, one’s focus, one’s curiosity, one’s time, and one’s capacity to love can be actualized and lived to the fullest.” - r0ckyreed

I can’t give you a top three—just three that come to mind immediately

5 Methoxy Dimethyltryptamine because it gave me perspective on what’s interesting to me.
Learning diverse perspectives in thinking for oneself

For the caution of academia, consider epistemology.

The most practical lesson for me is to feel:
The Joy of ______(some out-of-comfort zone concept)____.

Like, the Joy of Execution.
The Joy of being hungry.
The Joy of challenging yourself.
The Joy of pain.

Leo speak about it in his video "How to fall in love with life" and I think that it is his most day-to-day practical video ever. It instantly changes your approach and appreciation. It is powerful. You become invincible.

In the Vast Expanse everything that arises is Lively Awakened Awareness.

1. How to Get Laid series - Self explanatory

2. How to Fall in Love With Life- Shows you how to live in a high conscious manner where your living for more than just cheap dopamine hits

3. The Social Matrix- Makes you deeply question where you got all your ideas and beliefs from, and how you've been programmed by society.

I also like the How Socialization Makes You Stupid episode a lot

Also his Learning equals distinctions, making observations, and behavior change episodes
