Watching Gore While On Psychedelics

41 posts in this topic

I've heard about watching porn while on Psychedelics. But what about watching graphic content while high on Psychedelics??

Is this a wise decision or it will mess up with your mind? Is it better and more convenient to avoid looking at the super nasty part of God and act like it doesn't even exist ?

I am a very strong minded person. I can handle a lot. Also my biggest fear is torture and excruciating pain. I feel like God is pushing me towards conquering this fear. This fear is literally my worst nightmare. Its what I hate the most.

Personally I haven't tried this yet. Any opinions?

So to speak, you’ve only been led to believe there are super nasty parts of God. The blind leading the blind. You feel the Truth. Every time.  The discord was experienced with the very first word. Technically, prior to or, not even, but vibrationally. Like how you don’t technically need to see a boar to know there is one in the midst.

I don't even want to watch such things while being sober. But I think I know what you mean.
These gore videos are part of reality. So why shy away from seeing them?

They are so uncommon to see that they stick to your mind.

@Nahm Of course there are nasty parts of God.

Imagine getting abducted and tortured by Los Zetas.

You will experience a pain so horrific that it's beyond human comprehension. A pain so great that you will regret having been born in this existence.

This sounds awfully similar to a horrible idea I once had. As you know, I've investigated Datura for its potential to bestow supernatural power. And of course, I've discovered what occurs when individuals consume it without proper preparation or observance of the taboos that Amerindian shamans who have had success in this field tend to observe. Well, at one point when studying the horror stories of westerners using the plant recreationally around about Halloween time last year. It occurred to me that some knucklehead might decide to do a breakthrough of Datura then play something like a Resident Evil game all night hopped up on Redbull. By far, that has to be the dumbest idea I've become aware of.

I've watched gore content in the past and was left horrified and speechless. It does something to you that nothing else does.

Nowadays I avoid watching graphic content but I believe it's worth watching it few times in your life if you are into Truth.

If you are just into survival then you can act like these things don't happen and all these videos do not exist.

IMO it is not a good idea for you to keep watching gore, or to take psychedelics.

I had very similar beliefs / thoughts that you have, took around 5 grams of mushrooms, and had pretty much the worst trip one can have. Had to call an ambulance. Negative thought-patterns and (egoic projections) ensued weeks after the trip, and I had to spent time in psych ward. Took antipsychotics. Took me quite literally a year to fully get what happened, and to cut the negative pattern / let go the belief.

The thought/belief/pattern that went down was pretty much like this: "God/Universe is pushing me towards suicide, because I have to prove my worth as a fearless, courageous, egoless person who cares only about truth."

Today I see what was wrong so to say, what place these thoughts came from, and why they were false.

Hope you don't see this as me imposing beliefs on you, but I want to say this directly. Take it or leave it...

God is not pushing you toward conquering a fear. This is projection, aversion from emotional guidance. God needs nothing. There is no "your fear", and no fear whatsoever that needs to be conquered. There is nothing you need to do. There is nothing you need to prove.

To put it more simply, there is no need whatsoever to watch any gore videos ever again, nor is there a need to conquer/"win" this fear.

No, there really isn’t. There is apparently immeasurable arrogance.

Few days ago, I felt a pain in my teeth so terrible that I was scared of pain in general afterwards. There are levels to pain and suffering. Just imagining some stuff I can see how worse it can get.

This is why they’re called wisdom teeth. Listen. Taste what you’re saying, when you’re saying it.

Or start saving money for the dentist. ?

Really though, if you follow through with any of this nonsense, do it as close as possible to a hospital.

Fear is an emotion, which is guidance, in regard to what you want & what you’re focusing on. You’re trying to run from your shoes.

Does that mean you're not going to be subjecting yourself to watching gory violence whilst under the influence of mind-altering substances? A wise choice, you could have inflicted some serious suffering on yourself and all for nothing.

Nonsense it is not. On one hand you say that it would be non sense to confront my fear of gore and on the other hand you say that i am running from my shoes... ?

"Running from your shoes" as in trying to win/conquer/get rid of fear, rather than hearing the message.

"Nonsense" -> "Non-sense". Not sensing.

What does a baby do when sensing uncomfortable/painful things? Do they keep doing what hurts, and thinking "I gotta conquer this, I gotta win this fight, I gotta prove my worth, I gotta accept pain and awaken?"

By nonsense I meant taking psyche’s and then putting what you don’t like in front of you.

A consideration… is this really fear? Usually people avoid what they’re afraid of. This sounds more like obsession.

By running from your shoes, I mean, you’re the one putting it in front of you, and then saying you don’t like it. You can’t run from what you are focusing on.

I still have to muster up the courage to listen to an entire death metal album during a full blown LSD trip haha! I think it would be quite an experience.

Would not watch torture videos though, or anything similar... Not my thing.

Probably a bad idea. I don't know a lot about psychedelics, but I know enough to advice against this move. Every time you're taking a psychedelic, you're flipping a coin, and you'll either go to heaven or hell. If you can't handle gore scenes sober, they might break your brain on psychedelics.

DON'T DO IT.

Foolish until proven other-wise ;)

This is an interesting opinion. I just  thought we should conquer our fears.

You mean torture on yourself, right? Fear of someone torturing you, hurting you extremely?

In that case watching gore ain't gonna help you I think. You gotta conquer the fear of experiencing this yourself, not accepting or numbing yourself to the fact that someone else is tortured.

You can visualize the worst case scenario of someone torturing you and then try to love it and accept it. Love that experience.

But I'd advise you to NOT do this on psychedelics. No no no. That's a recipe for a bad trip.

And definitely don't watch frickin' gore on psychedelics.

Yes I mean fear of living through a brutal torture.

I've thought about doing visualisation about it but I am afraid of negatively programming my mind..

Also I think that no matter what I do I cannot escape the terrible nature of torture. Its just is awful. Terrifyingly awful and you cannot manipulate your way out of it. You are in for the ride of your life lol.

How do you know what God wants you to do? And why do you assume God would specifically care about one of it's parts, fearing the other part?

Tbh, I'd advise you to not obsess over this "Mexican gang torture" thing so much. Yes, we understand it exists, yes it's horrible, disgracefull and terrifying, and it's a part of Truth. But constantly hyperfocusing on being the victim that's about to get dismembered, is not you being fully awakened. This sounds like a recipe for pernament mental health problems - even though you're already used to watching these kinds of things (honestly though, can you ever get used to it? I've watched some youtube commentary of these videos, and it's enough for me to become emotionally number than before).

Actually, I've even had a vivid dream last night - about me being chained to my bed? this shit is not a joke. Better stay away from content like this - as you mentioned - for a survival reasons.

It's a love - hate relationship towards it. I just cannot imagine anything worse and that's why I am attracted to it. It's super interesting and fascinating for me.

Just the mere thought of living through it gives me shakes. Also it seems like a part of me would wanna experience it. I know it sounds twisted.

Yes I know what you mean lol. Fortunately I don't have nightmares about it. But few weeks ago I saw the worst nightmare of all time.

I was somewhere without control of my body. And a bunch of people near me where being dismembered. And then it was my time.

I wasn't scared. But I just was like 'why tf does this nasty bs exists?' lol it was surreal. I guess God has a fine taste.

Also being fully awakened is not good for survival either i think.
