You only believe you gotta react to something. You can choose not to easily.

Yes - it's the ego that wants to react...but if you can go meta you realize that it means absolutely nothing in the big picture..it's only the ego that is giving it meaning.  I can go meta now and see that   I didn't need to react to this post ?

What does this mean in practice? Give an example of a reaction and a non-reaction.

@gettoefl when you ask "who reacts?" You are creating the "who" right there and looking for it, chasing your own tail.

@Carl-Richard I slap you in the face, you literally believe that you gotta react somehow, either hitting me or attacking. The physiological response is not a reaction, as the physiological response is simultaneously arising when the stimulus occurs, in fact there isn't even a difference. The psychological reaction is a belief, therefore a waste of time and energy.

Does a dog believe it has to bite you when you slap it?

@Carl-Richard nope.

I see where you're going with this, the dog biting you is not a reaction.

Only assuming, I could be wrong ^.

Not all behavior is determined by belief. You have instincts, conditioning, habits.

@Carl-Richard conditioning is beliefs.

Habits are mechanically repeated and free from the thinker or you.

Same with instincts, it's a mechanical process which is already liberated, if a man pulls a gun on you there is no "what do I do?"

Nope there is an instantaneous response! You shit your pants, you run away, you jump on the guy and claw his eyes out.

^but notice that this is not a response, as response implies time whether seconds even milliseconds, nope instantaneous, therefore in the "real" physiological world, response/reaction is impossible, literally.

When the sunlight intensifies, the skin becomes sweaty, there is no response, it is instant! Instant! (Gotta emphasize this, it's beautiful when you recognize this)

Reaction only occurs in the confusion of the thinker.

let me leave you with a vague spiritual comment: there's dust in your sunglasses and you think this is a dusty world we live in.

@Nahm The conbitch-tions will keep leaving, as long as she let's go of the belief that she has deep rooted stuff that will take years (maybe lifetimes) to purge ?.
