Enlightenment is a concept. A label. A word.

I define it as when you realize that you are not the body/mind.

A more strict definition that I also like is: permanent non-dual awareness.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Enlightenment = The realization of Truth, i.e. your True nature; what you were before you were born, what you will be after you die, and what you are right now.

Side effects include: abiding non-dual awareness, dis-identification with ego and body, love for life, compassion, spontaneity, flow, manifestation of authentic desires, and many many more.

Knowing who you really are... And being yourself. But the funny thing is ... People say who you really are is the source. But it has to be realized... Not known logically. And it takes time to be it too. Jesus said he himself was God, or son of God. So he seemed to be himself.

cause really.... What do you really want more? If this happens to me.... It's my greatest gift. How are you going to live if you can't be yourself? Are you going to be something else rather than yourself the rest of your life?

its not about being "enlightened". It's about truth, who you are....etc.

and what you really are is true... It can't be false would it? So we also combine it with truth.

Or or losing all attachments. Really, your body, the world, because the world cannot be reliable for you to be happy. It will never satisfy you. Why would you want to be unsatisfied?

The complete reintegration and re-identification with all the disowned parts of the Self.

In this context, the Self is the entirety of existence (God, source, etc.)

That's a great definition @Emerald Wilkins
:)

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

Where is the "I" that AM's? Is there an "I" that owns any aspect of experience?

Enlightenment is when you realize that there is no you to become enlightened.

Or rather, that your true nature has always been enlightenment.
