@modmyth  yea posting recipe for this soup

-2 tbsp oil

-1 inch ginger, finely chopped

-2 clove garlic, finely chopped

-2 chilli, finely chopped

-½ onion, finely chopped

-½ carrot, finely chopped.. I added very little carrot because pumpkin already has a sweet taste so the garlic will balance the sweet taste.

-3 tbsp cabbage, finely chopped

-½ capsicum, finely chopped

-5 beans, finely chopped

-2 tbsp coriander stem, chopped

-4 cup water

-¾ tsp salt.

-2 tbsp vinegar

-½ tsp pepper powder

-1 tsp chilli sauce

-1 tsp cornflour

-¼ cup water, for slurry

-2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped

In a separate Kadai, first boil cubes of pumpkin and let the cubes be soft.

firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp oil, saute 1 inch ginger, 2 clove garlic and 2 chilli.

also, saute ½ onion until it shrinks slightly.

now add ½ carrot or very small chunk, 3 tbsp cabbage, ½ capsicum, 5 beans and 2 tbsp coriander stem.

stir fry for a minute without overcooking them.

now pour 4 cup water and add ¾ tsp salt. mix well. You can also add some corn  to complement the garlic.

boil until all the flavours are well absorbed.

Now add  2 tbsp vinegar, ½ tsp pepper powder and 1 tsp chilli sauce. mix well. You might even add 2tbsp soy sauce also.. I usually add soy sauce but I didn't have in my kitchen so I managed with the chilli sauce.

Now add the boiled soft  pumpkin cubes.

In a small bowl take 1 tsp cornflour and mix with ¼ cup water.

pour the cornflour slurry and stir well.

stir and boil until the soup thickens slightly and turns glossy.

now add 2 tbsp coriander and give a good mix.

I drank so much of the soup before taking the pic so it kinda looks thick. Haha :D

Nice! My little poem to go along with the pic :)

AUTUMN

Leaves falling swiftly

Trees losing crown

Colors of autumn

Yellow, red, brown

Coolness of air

Envelopes nature

Animals scurry

Stashing for later

Dressed in grandeur

The forest appears

Sacred festivities

Noticable here

Hills are so gently

Echoing whisper

River so clear

Air's much crisper

Marvelous season

Flavors abide

Splendid aromas

Speak of delight

Harvest abundance

Nature prepares

To rest until spring new

Awakening declares

Lovely!

I live up north where seasons are really dramatically different and the days get really short in the winter. I used to absolutely hate Fall. I'm more open minded now. xD In my experience, there is a VERY different energy about Fall, that can be very dark, depressing and even scary if you misinterpret it. If you embrace it rather than avoid it, understanding nonduality, ( no light without dark, blah blah), it goes much better. I heard someone say recently that spring is about beauty and fall is about wisdom and that really resonated. It's a time for going inward, rest, stillness and letting go of stuff.

Funny, for me it's the opposite.

In Summer I can barely go out, cause I have 5/5 grass pollen allergy.

Fall is my lord and savior xD

I'm supposed to go out only 1 hour a day those days, but I'm cheating so much, no way I only go walk just one hour xD

That's weird, I'm sorry. Ever since I was a kid, Summer is equivalent with ethereal, magical BLISS in my mind. Fall and Winter is also a lot better now since I discovered vitamin D though.

There's a specific, very subtle part of summer afternoons when the sun has a warm tint, just gold enough to graze your soul. I always feel as if being cradled by life itself.

Don't know about you guys, but it's a shame we scarcely get these sort of winters here in Europe where I live:
