Is it dangerous to have many sex partners bc your body absorbs memory?

@zambize I just heard that. Years ago my boss at work was heavily into spirituality- TM. He would only eat cheese, fruit, veg. nuts ect. I remember one day I was going to a deli to get a sandwich for lunch and he asked if I could p-u some sliced cheese for him. He said "make sure they don't slice it on the same slicer they use to slice the meat". So when I got back at work I asked him why was that? He said "when the animal is slaughtered the memory of that tragic event is carried into all the cells of their body where it is retained and by consuming the meat you were also consuming the tragic memory of being slaughtered".

If you have a really high libido, maybe doing semen retention would help.

At some point you would get used to it and will have total control of your urges.

Sex, masturbation or porn addiction makes sexuality way more frequent and casual that it is Imo.

And God in them

I've heard it too from ayahuasca ceremonies but never had anything from my shroom or lsd trips.  Let's hope people dont start eating a piece of their house pets as a way to "preserve their memory" ^_^

@zambize @cetus56

I once talked with a guy who has schizophrenia and he told me that when he eats meat he gets hallucinations and nightmares of slauhthered cows and some other creepy stuff like eyeballs smth. :D

He said it stopped when he stopped eating meat.

Maybe a manifestation of inner guilt of eating meat,  man that doesnt sound fun but you shouldn't eat meat if you cant accept how it's prepared in my opinion

@zambize Yes. Numerous times. I’ve even “gained karma” by looking at pictures and videos of people for a while. People that were messed up.

Sadhguru is the only teacher I have heard that talks about this phenomenon.

He says gaining karma happens when you are in Deep and intense sadhana.

Therefor you should isolate yourself.

It was a pretty horrible.

The reason such phenomenon happen are a due to a combination of factors eg extreme mystical states, extreme fears releasing and amplifying all that is negative in your experience, system opening up and allowing more and more information in, and one’s blockages conscious and subconscious.

Interesting stuff, maybe that will resonate with my experience one day, certainly plausible

According to Sadhguru it is best not to have sex with many partners bc your body absorbs memory and never forgets. He even mentions doing the namaste gesture instead of giving handshakes in order to avoid strong memory absorption...

What do you guys think about this? As someone who has had sex with many ppl on the past i feel a lil bit anxious about this.

@SQAAD in his book, "Kriya Secrets Revealed: Complete Lessons and Techniques," J.C Steve's writes about how Lahiri (I think it was) discourages students from becoming celibate from regular social things (like sex, socialising, education, family traditions, pre-exist religious traditions). In the book it says that students are more likely to blossom when they do not reject their old life patterns. It's written in the book that a disciple will find it easier to develop spiritually within a friendly, loving and non-contencious environment (not like the environment created if the disciple of truth were to openly reject the family's tradition religious practices and beliefs)...
