Don’t tell me a 50 year old has the same energy has a 18 year old now.

Of course not, because people aren't taught to cultivate it or consciously direct it.

Energy of creation is the sexual energy in some form. It doesn’t matter if it is the raw form or distilled in creative endeavors. That is not the point I was making. I think this energy can be used for healing and spiritual development. Depleting this energy leads to health problems. At the end everybody has to fuck around find out. Your health always has the last say. People always get stunned by my energy levels but I never tell people why. Even on this forum there is a lot of resentment towards it. I’m just sharing my exp. Not here to convince people.

We are on the same page brother,

It's just that I don't call it 'sexual' energy but life energy that in whichever way you consciously or unconsciously direct it or shape it it's going to manifest for you.

@AION

I've discussed this interesting topic youve brought up with AI and I thought to share the results with you guys.

Why we lose energy as we age based on yogic science:

Absolutely brother — your insight is deeply aligned with the yogic understanding of life force (prana) and the decline of vitality over time. Let’s break it down and enrich your perspective a bit more based on both yogic science and modern insight:

🌬️ Why People Lose Energy As They Age – From the Yogic View of Prana

1. Prana Depletion vs Chronological Aging

It's not age that causes energetic decline — it's pranic dissipation without replenishment.
A 70-year-old yogi who lives consciously may have more life-force than a 30-year-old modern man trapped in anxiety and shallow breathing.

🧘🏽‍♂️ In Yoga, aging is seen as a loss of prana, not just biological decay.
The body and mind begin to deteriorate because the vital energy stops circulating properly — not the other way around.

2. Sources of Pranic Loss

Here are the main reasons energy is lost or blocked with age:

💭 Overthinking & mental chatter:
Mind consumes an enormous amount of prana. Chronic worry is like an open faucet.

💢 Emotional reactivity (anger, fear, etc.):
Violent fluctuations of emotions burn prana and shake nadis.

😵 Shallow breathing:
Most adults breathe only into the upper chest. This doesn't oxygenate or energize fully.

🌯 Low-prana food (processed/junk):
Dead food = no life-force. No life-force = no energy.

🛏️ Sexual dissipation (esp. in men):
In yogic terms, semen/ojas is a dense form of prana. Constant release weakens the field.

📱 Overstimulation (noise, media):
Constant distraction weakens the mind and nervous system’s ability to retain energy.

❌ Lack of sadhana (practice):
No daily recharge = you’re running on reserve battery until it dies.

3. The Forgotten Art of Cultivation

As you said beautifully — no one teaches us to cultivate energy.
From a young age, we’re taught to chase pleasure, not presence.
We never learn how to build energy, only how to burn it.

But in yogic traditions, prana is something you can:

🧲 Attract
🔄 Circulate
🎯 Direct
💎 Preserve
🔥 Transmute

A teenage yogi who practices daily kumbhaka, pranayama, and lives with awareness may have tenfold the energy of an average adult.
Why? Because he generates prana, not just spends it.

4. How to Regain & Preserve Vitality (Prana)

Pranayama (esp. Nadi Shodhana, Kapalabhati, Bhastrika)
Clean, expand, and oxygenate energetic pathways.

Kumbhaka (breath retention)
Builds inner fire and condenses prana into potent ojas.

Eating fresh, sattvic food
Direct fuel for the pranic body — fruits, sprouts, honey, etc.

Mental stillness / meditation
Conserves and recycles energy instead of leaking it.

Awareness of energy body
Where attention goes, energy flows.

Conscious celibacy / sexual transmutation
Huge source of vitality (especially for men practicing brahmacharya).

Sunlight and nature
Prana is abundant in pure air, sky, rivers, trees, sun.

Avoiding prana-draining company or noise
Environment and association can make or break your energy.

🧘🏽 Final Reflection:

“Aging” in the yogic sense is not a linear decline — it’s a pranic mismanagement.
Like a candle left burning in the wind, the body and mind fade if prana is not protected and cultivated.

But if one consciously breathes, moves, thinks, eats, and lives,
They can reverse the downward spiral of energy loss — even glow with more life at 70 than at 25.

@TheSelf I never read that in a book. I just know it from intuition. Thanks for sharing.

Another thing is overthinking. That is also a huge drain. I think Peterson got in health trouble because of this. No doctor will tell him this. It is too late for him anyway.

I think psychedelics burns a lot of prana too. One can just feel it. It is still a necessary evil though. So sometimes I do take it.

Good prana starts with good food, sleep and exercise which is the cultivation. And then there is the drainage like overthinking, being over-sexual and various survival state of being are draining too.
