Autism Test

17/50

I thought I would score higher. I would consider myself an introvert but I do feel I am good at and enjoy socializing on occasion. I do have anxiety about doing new things and social situations but I don't care about remembering things and prefer the bigger picture perspective so I guess my score is not as high as I would have guessed.

I had Chatgpt analyze the test.  Don't read this until you have taken the test though.

Thing is ChatGPT analyzes it for you, but it doesn't hand you the keys to the cookie jar.

That being said, my family jokes and says I’m autistic. I doubt that. But, I was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid. I am sure I have a unique brain type of some kind. I’m not even sure I have adhd really.

The test is not thorough enough. I’ve worked with many people with autism… the questions address a thin area of the spectrum of autism.

I don't understand why you are treating autism like a disease that needs to be treated.

There is no disease until you agree with it.

Even though I joke, I respect all people.

Yes and No.

I have met many people in my life that have backstabbed me. I have started stabbing back at them through the justice system... It is taking a toll on me.

I was diagnosed with autism.

I scored 35/50

I think this test is terrible and inaccurate because it doesn't account for the fact that autism commonly is a condition alongside OCD and ADHD. Additionally, I would be more extroverted if not for the fact that people decieved me and betrayed me. For people with autism they are more easily tricked by people with bad intentions which is likely the true cause of introversion in many cases of autism.

The problem with these online tests is that they can't detect overlapping conditions. This is why they generally are not trustworthy.

I don't think this expression means anything. It was probably a video with one awkward frame when put in slow motion. There are lots of weird faces you can get by doing this and they don't necessarily express any particular emotion if it is mid speech in an awkward position for instance.

I got a 10. But I’m skeptical of all these kinds of surveys because 1.) they require self-awareness, which I don’t have and 2.) I almost never select “strongly agree” or “strongly disagree”. My preferred answer is almost always “it depends”. Guess I’m just nuanced like that.

I’m gonna guess cat? No — dog. Is it dog?

Curiosity killed the cat.

(But satisfaction brought it back.)

I used to find socializing exceptionally challenging, confusing & uncomfortable but when I took MDMA for the first time it was like something switched gears in my mind and ever since then I've been a social butterfly. Some have told me it's "masking perfected" but I genuinely think interfacing with hallucinogenics triggered something within me. I went from an awkward, confused, autistic-introvert to a healthy balance of introvert and extrovert in the space of a few years. The deep mystical experiences on psychs and in meditation were just a trigger point though, the actual work was all consciously enacted after these experiences had been integrated. I have not felt uncomfortable in a social setting in a long time, which is baffling considering how I was for most of my life. I couldn't hold, let alone start a conversation for a lot of my life, now communicating is effortless. Socialization really is a muscle that you can build. Nowadays, I'm more socially-skilled than my naturally extroverted friends. I have a lot of autistic mates who are older than me and struggle socializing and it's been rewarding to help them embody some healthy extroversion and develop self-esteem.
