Texas going Blue is very nice.

If it's to do like in California or New York no.

Btw you don’t live in a blue state.

Nevada often goes Blue. It's a swing state.

California and New York do many things well, especially for their size.

You must factor scale into your ideas of "doing well". California has a good education system, for example. I would rather send my kids to a Cali school than a Texas or Florida school.

Let's not at all give Republicans credit for Texas being a reasonably cheaper place to live, or whatever metric you're gauging for Texas vs. CA/NY.

CA/NY are expensive because they are so popular that everyone wanted to live there.

Texas is cheap because it has a lot of empty land and it is boring, lame, and backwards.

It is conservatives who don't give credit to CA/NY for being so popular that they are overpopulated to the point of expensiveness.

Expense is a function of supply and demand. Texas is cheap because demand to live there is low.

As a Texan, man, I hope the Dems are able change these stupid ass liquor laws. Can't buy liquor on Sundays! Only liquor stores can sell liquor, supermarkets can't.

I doubt it though. That might be too radical for people.

No one saw this coming. Trump congratulates Dems. WTF? Any ideas?

Maybe he's going to play the unity card in hopes of avoiding investigations?

So great that Susan Collins finally lost. What a shameless hag she was.

Nevada in fact turned blue again.

Congrats to you and your state for electing Aaron Ford, the next Democratic governor of Nevada, and for Democrats in your state winning both of the state legislative chambers!

Btw, did you see this from this pollster, Lakshya Jain?

"If you managed to sleep last night, you may wake up to some more upsets. In NV-02, David Flippo got HAMMERED in this Trump +14 seat. He's down by 7 at the moment, with >95% reporting. No Republican has lost this district since its creation in 1982. WOW."

Yes! Finally! My dad and I couldn't stand her.

Troy Jackson was the progressive populist candidate who pulled it off, but I think that Graham Platner deserves credit for paving the way to his victory before he was forced to drop out.

It's true. My ego is a bit ruffled because I’m right-wing so I end up saying things wrong, mea culpa.

What worries me is the laxity regarding immigration and security.

I know that things are going poorly in certain places in California and New York because of the Democratic administration.
The new governor seems to hold leftist views on immigration he opposed "Lone Star" for example, so by default if I were American, I would have voted for Greg Abbott.

Mostly there’s just more money flowing per person.

My small tourist town in the south of France is more expensive than any cool big city in Thailand, but I don’t think that means more people want to come here/that there is more fun here lol.

I’m sure you can find everything in Texas.
