But people please stop saying the world breathes the Amazon's oxygen lol. The forest itself consumes all the oxygen it produces, nothing goes out to the world (to the instagram post above)

Hahahaha true — that doesn't diminishes the importance of the forest obviously.

I'm waiting for Trump to Maduro this bi.ch.

The British and Globalists stole the votes.

The war between America and the Britain is coming to its peak.

Let's watch.

@Atb210201 Your political views are so horrendous that if that continues you will not be allowed to post on this forum.

We have standards here for objectivity and non-bias.

That's fine I won't post here anymore.

You will have to just wait and see.

Be reminded of the things I've said here when future comes.

You'll be amazed at what you were not seeing at all.

@Atb210201 I want as much diverse perspective here as possible. But a core pillar of our work here is striving to reduce bias. It is obvious who is at least trying to do that and who isn't.

You have an opportunity here to truly grow your understanding of Reality, yourself, and politics. But I cannot teach you if love your biases more than you love learning and growing.

I am offering you guidance that will make you a better person. Think twice before rejecting it.

I know what you mean.

But I won't change my political direction because It has been proven to me.

Sorry if I sound biased.

I'll listen to your warning and try not to post so much in the political field of the forum.

@Atb210201 You are accusing people of stealing votes without any proof, just because you dislike a result. You are jumping to conclusions rather than keeping an open mind. The problem is not that you are conservative but that you are not being fair or objective.

When someone I dislike wins an election, I don't go accusing him of cheating and stealing. That is irresponsible.

I know I have more faith than proof.

The proof of it will come though.

I know it will come and lots of people will reject it when it comes.

But I see what you are pointing to.

As I said I won't do that anymore.

I know my faith with no proof yet is gonna be irritating to you and others.

@Atb210201 The issue isn't that it irritates me. The issue is that your way of thinking is epistemically unsound and harming your own mental development.

I'm not just here to bullshit and argue with you guys. I'm here to help your mind grasp more of Reality.

There is no need to have faith in political matters. That is not how politics is understood. You need to be open to Reality.

In my earlier years as a Brazilian voter, I was a right-wing supporter. I was strongly against corruption and against the irresponsible public spending that Brazil's left-wing governments were known for, especially in the early 2010s.

In the 2018 runoff I voted for Bolsonaro, or, better said, against Haddad, who stood in for Lula after Lula was jailed for corruption. Haddad's government plan had roots in communist ideas, and that decided it for me. So did the fact that a win would have given PT a fifth term in a row.

Back then I'd put my center of gravity in Spiral Dynamics at early/middle Orange. I already knew SD, but environmentalism, diversity, social protection and wealth redistribution weren't high priorities for me.

As my personal and spiritual journey went on, I began to see why those things matter, and how many factors feed into complex problems. I also realized that corruption runs deep even when economic liberalism is the ruling agenda. Actualized.org had a big influence here. It showed me the path I needed to take as an individual, from Orange toward Green, and it gave me the confidence to embrace Green ideas even when part of me still resisted.

Yesterday I voted for Lula. More accurately, I voted against the Bolsonaro clan. The corruption and damage that clan would have caused Brazil were too great to ignore: constant attacks on democratic institutions and the elections, the handling of the pandemic (anti-scientific/pre-rational ideas), the environmental damage in the Amazon, and the family's own corruption scandals.

That doesn't mean I'm uncritical of Lula or PT. Many of my old concerns about public spending and corruption still stand. What changed is how I weigh them. Instead of just demonizing one side, I ask which option does less harm to the system as a whole: institutions, people, the future.

From inside Blue or Orange, a vote for Lula can look absurd, as it did to me in the past. Once we pick a side, we rationalize our own views and demonize everyone who disagrees. This is the root of bias. Every time one catches themselves with deep anger or frustration against something, it's a sign to look deeper.

I know why you say these things and what's your purpose dear Leo.

I know you do it all because you epistemically care for truth in all your endeavours.

This is what I inherited from you as well and you were amongst my main role models for this approach.

This is exactly what has brought me to the place that I am now with the views I have now.

I deconstructed and doubted my beliefs and ideas times and times over and over to reach this place that I am now.

And it has cost me so much and I've paid very heavy prices for this.

So in this sense I can assure you that I've practiced what you are preaching here.

Maybe it is not in alignment with your views here or others but the thing that you want me to practice has been my practice for a long time.

Couldn't agree more.

I love conservatism and I would vote for a sound right wing party but this radical right wing wave of Trump, Bolsonaro, Milei(In my country, Argentina) is extremely toxic.

I mean, they don't even believe in science, come on guys!
