Is Insanity necessary to breakthrough to God?

i was jealous when i heard this song cause like, id made somethin slightly in the same ballpark not like 5 or so years ago, sorta going for something like this wacky love crush thing -Alas it encapsulates several ingredients that i just missed out on, musically, Oh well. I was juggling too many things alongside it, So i really like it, its like "the manifestation worked" sorta thing. Something like that.

One thing I will say here is try to convince an insane person that they are insane.  For them, their reality is very real.  So who values insanity really?

You can question sanity and insanity. Both are questionable states.

More than once I had people asking me if they were hallucinating. They were questioning their own state of mind, whatever it was at the time. It's a horrible experience to doubt one's own self like that.

I had someone try to tell me there were ghosts in a picture, or like people who were acting like ghosts, hiding behind things ~ but he saw them in a picture (as well as outside), and he tried pointing it out to me. And i said "Do you mean the trees?" and he said "Really? You cant see what im pointing to?" i said "No, i really cant. i just see trees..." Suffice to say, the story continues, and i learned enough lessons to not get caught up in whatever that was, like... i couldnt prove that these things werent there for him... even suggestion "ill go outside and scare them away" did not wirk, Not because he had a logical way to *create* or have them go away the moment i got there, but because it literally did not folliw any line of reasoning that a person could follow, its literally two different pages of a book, like... But now you gotta consider that scenario with all of reality, not just one person.

p.s. not that the world is hallucinating, but that the world can fall into states of mind like its hallucinating, or you are, or they are saying they are or whatever other scenarios can be happening.

It depends, if you asked me during some these insane trips / breakthroughs I would of said fuck yes this is insane 

You can definitely experience insanity without mental illness

It's good to draw a distinction between insanity and delusion. Insanity is not automatically delusion. But most people use insanity to mean delusion. You can experience insanity for a while and return without becoming deluded.

Insanity is analogous to traveling outside the solar system, to see things no one has seen or imagined.
