Is Insanity necessary to breakthrough to God?

This is a really taboo subject too.  Almost all people have insanity in their shadow.  Especially if your ego wants or needs to identify with being sober and sane.  To say one should integrate the insane would sound like fighting words to many people.

They would feel that way at times, but just cause it feels insane doesn't mean it is insane.

The ego is scared of insanity even more than death. So the ego loves to fear-monger to itself about insanity. It is like when you have a flu and you think you are dying. You are not really dying, but the ego fears it so much that it believes it.

Of course a few people could literally go insane, but this is very rare. There is a way to do this without becoming dysfunctional and delusional.

Then you speak of Alien Insanity and another post where you said you intentionally went insane for an hour or so. 

When I realized solipsism for the first time it felt like I had literally gone insane. Any time I experienced what was insanity it was short lived and at the peak of a radical realization. The only other time I can think of was when I realized how I was imagining everything.

I was also trying to say its relative, such as the moment you realize there is no physical universe vs being lucid of the dream for a decade

Even in this moment I have a hard time recalling that because my state right now is SANE.

Maybe the question is what is sanity?

Exactly, most people are not conscious of how they are maintaining their sanity or are even aware of that they are even doing it.

Im starting from the ground, towards the answer, but just going in order first — insanity (...) — Its like realms of mind, and insanity is a way of describing wat one part of the mind feels like... but just logically, its also insane cause logic should ultimately lead you to that as a word... "insane" as a word is working on two or three diff levels atleast, but generally, if you are someone new to all this, you dont carry anything like that with you, not on purpose... And you also dont immediately come back w/ insanity as an answer for anything (most ppl find it relates, i just see it as another word within mind), So i could see how that word might also be confusing, if ever a such pers like me encounters it. If you look at it positively though, insanity is the word to describe insane acts too, like "hes insane to jump off that, like it was nothing". I mean, thats not what it means, but its a start towards crossing off some functions and meanings ~towards what you think it means ... I guess on some lvl u might think that extreme-act-of-insanity does work, but i think thats the shallow vers., iuno you have to start from a diff place to know what insanity means ultimately. Another word is determination, but thats more confusing because now its like, we are making it seem like you are a sperm penetrating an egg- And so theres alot more things working for insanity vs determination (for example) Alas, its working on multiple fronts fr them reasons.

I forget wat the ques was again, but if it was just "wat i thought of insanity" then thats wat id say, iuno.

That's the key: short lived.

You could not function from that state.

You can have glimpses of insanity but then return to sanity.

Theres also a movie called Unsanity that im watching, to see if it means anything, but its like, To be sane is more of the baseline... From there, things are inherently insane, if we are exaggerating, but even betond that, one more, insanity works for multiple things, but wed have to temporarily forget about the regular use ofthe word, which is fine i feel. I have a whole collection of words that are becoming things that previously didnt exist as words or ideas and such... one moment...

There are many dysfunctional and unhealthy mental states. So be careful.

But of course Infinite Consciousness is not bounded by sanity or functionality.

But don't get the simplistic notion that being mentally unhinged will make you intelligent. It will more likely get you killed or arrested.

You all get a glimpse of insanity when you have a bad dream. Infinite Consciousness is like an unconstrained dream. Crazy things can happen in dreams.

Yes, and I'm thinking insanity as being in a state where you have deconstructed your sanity (the net of constructs of what staples down your sense of reality) 

But perhaps my notion of insanity is far too shallow...

I'm aware of still being responsible with behavior because i have preferences in avoiding negative consequences (both psychological and physical consequences).

Yes, but that goes very deep. That can be done functionally or dysfunctionally.

Transcending sanity can easily become delusional if you aren't very epistemically careful.

The key is to avoid delusion. Access whatever states you like, but don't become deluded.

Dude, we even call MAGA voters crazy. Calling people crazy is such a low bar. Bigots will call anything crazy when it contradicts their dogmas.

When normies call something crazy, all that means is its outside their intellectual comfort zone.
