There's plenty of criticism from within the Israel too.

Generally speaking when you look into the history of the place without going through the Muslim or far-left propaganda machine you realize that Jews have actually always been there and that Muslims have repeatedly tried to replace or exterminate them.

It is complicated to take a stand because the situation is delicate/is a vicious circle, and above all because it doesn't concern us. There have been recent events that were far, far deadlier yet no one talks about them because the relevant diasporas aren't prominent enough for bored white people to co-opt the issue.

Completely wrong, you have 0 understanding of history or the current situation. Stop commenting on issues you don’t know anything about when you aren’t interested in learning, you and a couple of other users have been posting the same nonsense misinformation for multiple years now and ignoring everytime someone tears it apart and just repeating easily debunked claims while insisting everyone else is just attached to propaganda.

In Afghanistan and Iraq tens of thousands of innocent civilians were killed with no 'genocide' trend on social media. This is a problem of Western countries' conduct in guerilla warfare and the cheapening of the lives of civilians as were an acceptable cost of their goals.

For comparison, Afghanistan and Iraq have 10-20x the population as Gaza, and those wars went on for 7x as long,

And israel killed more children in Gaza, than were killed in Afghanistan and Iraq combined.

Israelis are currently trying to cancel a documentary that exposes this exactly, because they know it’s true but they support it and want it to continue, and the world finding out more would make it harder.

But the mechanism is the same. The cheapening of civilians lives in muslim states and the willingness to accept dozens of killed civilians for one terroroist. The undelrying thinking is not unique to Israel. We have seen it in other Western militaries as well. And Gaza is far more densely populated precisely because of the population difference you mentioned.

Because their actions in Venice portrayed an entire country in a one-dimentional and unrealistic way and therefore it wasn't fair criticism and many Israelis are right to be outraged by that.

That is false, Israel’s regulations were already lower than the US and they loosened them further, knowing Gaza had higher civilian density to allow for more civilians to be harmed

The entire country trying to ban the film they haven’t seen yet actually proves that.

You're downplaying just how sadistic and satanic Israel's behavior is.

Karmadhi made good points below.

"Were childreen intentionally sniped for fun by soldiers there?

Was there a blockade of food, medicine etc?

Were people trying to find food were shot in the dozens?

Were people trying to get water attacked by drones?

Were people put in prisons, tortured to death, raped?

Were people run over with trucks or bulldoz ers alive?"

It's not just the killing, but the sadistic way in which they play with their victims. Shooting boys in the testicles, unloading a full magazine into one body when the person is already dead, etc. It's the torture, the humiliation, the gaslighting, the desecration of everything that is precious. They are DEMONS.

Sure there are many deeply problematic behaviours fueled by our government and soldiers who act criminally.

The issue is that both the individual soldier and the commanding officer are on board with it

It creates a very bad combination

You always have psychopaths in wars, but usually a professional army will make sure such behaviour is both punished and frowned upon

In Israel the general consensus is that "these people deserve it"

Which is the whole problem

When you say "kids deserve to die  because they will grow up to be terrorists" you have totally lost the plot.

Until this mindset changes, IDF will remain the most hated army in the world.

I am not saying every IDF soldier is like that

However, so many are, that it creates enough brutality in the ground to make people enraged.

Even 20% of IDF behaving like sadistic psychopaths are more than enough.

In the case of snipers I believe it was maybe 15 people doing it and it created such a bad image of IDF

In a professional army, such behaviour would be easily identified and punished or at least the soldier removed asap.

In Israel, the upper commanders simply do not care.

I saw also examples of commanders basically pushing soldiers to use Palestinians as human shields when going inside buildings for bobby traps

So in some cases it is even encouraged.

@Salvijus It’s extremely hard to make a real conversation with you because you strongly believe that everything you say are facts and the truth.

Doesn’t it sound too radical to you?

Did you question Naza or any other news reports you seen about Israel?

The more I question and investigate this matter, the more I realize how bad the situation really is with Israel.

Evaluating the validity of information is of course the first and most important thing I do before I engage with it.

Israel, in the eyes of someone from America or Europe, can sometimes seem - wrongly - like it is a tiny village where everyone talks to everyone. This is why anything an Israeli says or thinks can very easily be perceived as something "all Israelis" or "most Israelis" think.

@Nivsch It is just their way to ghost you.

I agree that Israel isn’t perfect and probably far from it but the enemy is far worst. Prove me wrong.

IDF is investigating itself constantly and is being diagnosed by the entire world.
Stupidity is being punished and corrected. It is the exception rather than the rule so don’t be so quick to judge.

War isn’t a photogenic thing and yes unfortunately kids die.(On both sides).

My problem with the free Palestine movement that they always play the victim card and never taking responsibility. Even here it is hard to make a proper conversation so I can only imagine how difficult to reach peace is.

On the other hand the continuation of the war is unjustified. The IDF has to sit in the perimeter, protect itself and not doing beyond that. Netanyahu wants the war to not end because it serves him politically.

I agree with you that IDF shows patterns of both stupid action and hyper-cautious methods that many militaries don't use to warn civilians. This shows how heterogenous this organization is, and it isn't surprising because Israel has mandatory military service and IDF draws from different sectors of society.

The proof: All the cool kids think that so it is true.

Genocide scholars and major organizations like the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) state that Israel's military actions and policies in Gaza meet the legal definition of genocide under the 1948 United Nations Genocide Convention.

Key Reasons Cited by Scholars

Destruction of Life-Sustaining Conditions: Scholars point to the near-total blockade and deprivation of food, water, medicine, fuel, and electricity, which has led to severe malnutrition, preventable diseases, and famine in Gaza.

Mass Civilian Casualties and Infrastructure Demolition: The widespread destruction of housing, educational facilities, and healthcare systems, alongside tens of thousands of Palestinian casualties (predominantly women and children), is viewed as targeting the foundations of civilian existence.

Statements of Intent: Experts highlight public rhetoric from various Israeli officials that dehumanizes Palestinians, characterizes the entire population of the enclave as the enemy, or calls for the destruction and displacement of Gaza.

Collective Targeting: Scholars argue that the military campaign has expanded past a targeted operation against Hamas to systematically impact the survival of Gaza's entire civilian population.

(I come back to my original point: the only people who do not agree with Gaza being labelled a genocide, are either anti Muslim or have strong links with Israel. Personally I don't care what it's labelled as. But see if you can find one person, who doesn't have a dog in this fight, that's going to split hairs over this being called a genocide.)

@Heaven  Can you prove that it's not a genocide ?

@Nivsch  To say that it's just the cool kids is a bit rediculous.

Here are examples of Israeli Holocaust scholars who say it's a genocide.

Sorry but genocide looks completely different. What I think is that this government may be trying to make Gaza uninhabitable in order to make Gazans leave. And this is FAR better supported by evidence from the ground and from government members statements, interviews, and apparent way of thinking.
