Like when you started analyzing why that one club wasn't good. Analyzing why never brings you up, it only continues the toilet drain vibes. I'd have bounced from that club straight away and opened a new set without thinking.

@Olaf Let me first say that I totally feel you on that last update, man. I recently had a very promising girlfriend canditate, who -- after I approached, attracted and got a number from with a solid date setup -- I managed to FUCK IT UP within 4 text messages somehow because I was running a script instead of texting her like a normal person. This happened on Tuesday and I'm still turning in my sleep and waking up in cold sweat just thinking about it. But the pain of these experiences is what is gonna get us to where we want to get to, as long as we absorb the lessons they are gifting us with.

How’d you manage to fuck up so badly in such simple thing as texting with your experience

I’ve experienced this quite a bit, and I think it’s one of the major downsides of pickup. You learn a formula that works for you, broadly speaking, for hooking up with the average girl. But then you meet someone you genuinely like and could see yourself with long term, and you instinctively fall back on the same formula. Then it falls apart. she picks up on the inauthenticity and the rehearsed “fuckboy” dynamic almost immediately.

I think it’s really important to learn to balance out the “script” that works in general with authenticity. But it’s so easy to just keep running that script habitually because it gets you laid a lot.

I still struggle with balancing these two things

Clubs with good smoking areas are exceptional for this reason. There’s always somewhere quiet you can go where you can chat, and it’s also very socially acceptable to start conversations with new people there too.

I think probably half of all the girls I’ve hooked up with in clubs I met first in the smoking area.

Fuck clubs with tables man. I’m so glad I don’t live in the US where that’s standard. In the UK clubs with tables like that are almost non-existent and I’m so glad.

My favourite clubs are ones that are big, almost maze like, with multiple dance floors, and a big smoking area, and ideally a chill room with seats. You can always keep moving around and exploring and just chat to new people while you do it.

@something_else yes I need to find the clubs with smoking area's, I just hate screaming over the music, it probably is easier to kiss a girl on a dancefloor as you can't talk anyway, but for talking it is horrible. I like street game more, or going in some bars etc. because you can have a normal conversation, but smoking area's might be good aswell, never tried.

@Ulax in Owens group there was a guy who did 118 approaches in a day that guy was psycho  but one approach unless she sleeps with you is way too little men, if you want to improve you got to go harder, I do maybe like 100 approaches a week or so, I don't always count, because that is also stupid.
