He doesn't make a definitive judgement as he was not her doctor but he finds it plausible that her psychosis and loss of volition were real.

They do release murderers after they've served their sentences. What would you do then capital punishment for anyone that kills someone?

It's not a high bar to not kill someone. It's really like you care more about the murderer than the victims. 21 years is nothing compared a life.

It's a liberal dogma to think that death penalty is inherently wrong. There's no real reason why it can't be worked with.

Is this a feeling that you have or have you studied the effects that capital punishment has on society?

I'm mainly worried about societal progress, I empathize with the victim more than the murderer but I don't believe in blind punishment. Also I've had a pretty traumatic psychotic episode myself so I know the bad effects that this can have on someone.

But it's not blind. It's relative to serious crime with a high burden of proof. Beyond a reasonable doubt. Like Breivik. There's no doubt about Breivik's guilt and morally there's no reason to not kill him in my opinion. The game the Norwegian government has to play to keep him locked up, as the maximum sentence is 21 years, is ridiculous. It's not an accomplishment to keep a mass murderer in jail indefinitely.

If Lindsay Clancy is found guilty I see no reason why not give her capital. It would be more than fair in that case.

That's because his wife was pissed at him for not taking her side, lol. He even says so on his show and in this clip. He said it REALLY bothered his wife, so like a good therapist, he came to her emotional support, lol.

Importantly, he never discusses the event timeline.

Woman is suicidal for months and wants to kill herself and even researches it. But she can't just do the deed because what about her kids? The solution? Take them with her. She then goes to therapy to get help for all of this. When the help doesn't work, she keeps wanting to go through with it and eventually pulls the trigger. Her husband worked from home so she couldn't just kill the kids and off herself any time because she never really had the house to herself. So she tells him to go fetch dinner and it just so happens the voice appeared during that time.

For Dr. K to just ignore all this is quiet disappointing.

Everyone should find it highly suspicious than an acute psychotic event occurred at precisely the perfect moment for her to enact the thing she went to therapy for in the first place, before any psychosis or command hallucinations ever occurred.

What if this is just fascination + identity + seriousness being inflated into universal importance?

Let's say it was legit. What are the chances her one and only command hallucination presented after she orchestrated her husband's departure?

For the same reason you think taking a life is beyond the pale, having the state be able to wrongfully take somebody's life, could be enough justification to not have the death penalty. One wrongfully executed individual could cancel out any perceived justice other executions invoke.

"At least 190 people who were sentenced to death in the United States have been exonerated and released since 1973, with official misconduct and perjury/false accusation the leading causes of their wrongful convictions." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrongful_execution

He is repeating Leo. Leo has been on the "liberals are too soft to see the harsh realities of the world" train for a while now, including talking about how the death penalty is actually good.

You guys need to watch out for your reactivity. Outrage and moral condemnation means your ego has been hijacked by the level of consciousness of society. You are getting pulled down, you aren't pulling anyone up.

What you should do is learn what is happening. And while doing so, study how your own mind is reacting to the things you are exposing yourself to. Otherwise this discussions is just an extention of the internet brainrot. The whole point of the forum is elevation of consciousness, the conversation taking place here are on par with discussions taking place on social media. That's not good.
