Can God Fully know Itself ?

14 posts in this topic

Where is the proof that God can fully understand or know Itself in Its entirety? Maybe it is in Its very nature that this is impossible. Wouldn’t it be truly beautiful if that were the case?

Or maybe It can and it will.

God is infinity . Infinity , by definition, has no end . If God was able to understand itself fully , it would mean God is not infinity .

so, God can never understand itself fully , because God doesn’t end .

it can understand itself fully implicitly, not explicitly.  You can know that God is infinity , but you can’t know how many ants are looking for sugar in some desert area right now .

God is All-knowing . God knows everything. But” everything “ is infinite , not a fixed quantity .

“God is the Alpha Omega .. the beginning-less  beginning and the endless end .
He is the first without start . He is the last without end . He is the manifest actuality ..nothing covers him . He is the most hidden essence  ..nothing can grasp him .. nothing below him or more subtle than him .The ego is the belief I’m separate from god . Because being god is too good to be true .No matter how dark it gets or difficult it gets ..no matter how long it is going to take .. my destiny is the infinite happiness and infinite joy and love as the best thing ever ..God .  “

Wouldn’t you be imposing finite logic onto the infinite?

Why God being able to understand itself fully imply it would mean God is not infinity?

Because a full understanding means there is not a single thing lacking ,not yet not understood.

Since infinity never runs out of new things , god can never understand every single new thing that comes out of his own infinite creating power .

But Maybe an infinité mind can actually.
If you can fully become infinity maybe you can fully understand infinity. I wrote « becoming=understanding » cause I was contemplating how I could fully understand myself And I wondered whether the only way might be to become the infinite. Maybe to understand the infinite, you simply have to be the infinite, and that alone is enough for complete understanding.

(it’s just thinking, I really don’t know)

Are you familiar with the differences between a complicated and complex system?

A system is complicated if it has many moving parts, but its mechanics are entirely deterministic and predictable. An engine, a watch, or a piece of software code are complicated: if you disassemble the parts, analyze their functions, and reassemble them correctly, you can predict the exact outcome every single time. It operates like a machine—linear, cause-and-effect, and fully knowable through reductionism.

A system is complex, by contrast, if it is made up of adaptive, interconnected agents whose interactions create emergent behavior that cannot be predicted simply by analyzing the individual components. Ecosystems, human societies, quantum mechanics, and conscious minds are complex. You cannot "solve" a complex system; you can only observe its patterns, as small inputs can lead to non-linear, unpredictable outcomes.

I think to us humans life and reality are a complex system that can never be fully understood due to it's emergent properties. For God I don't see how it wouldn't just be a complicated system that he can figure out instantly, I think he can also make himself forget to enjoy the game that's what humans are but overall there aren't enough parameters to confuse a God.

Even a human can predict the future to a somewhat accurate degree and works like The Bible have proven that many prophecies can be achieved accurately so I think universal consciousness was already solved a long time ago we are just leafs in the wind witnessing human history like automatons watching a movie or really universal consciousness witnessing itself.

This incredibly simple object, entirely governed by classical mechanics, is nevertheless, in practice, completely chaotic given the level of precision available to us, after only a very short period of time. Human limitations are pathetic.

I think our distinction between ‘complicated’ and ‘complex’ is simply evidence of our human limitations. And even then, we’re still only operating within the realm of logic.

What proof could there possibly be but the experience of omniscience itself?
