He's hardly failed. This is but the beginning. He just found out about his autoimmune gastritis last month. He's gonna start heavily fighting it as well as his girlfriend's endometriosis which is a massive disease affecting like 10% of women worldwide. 

People's attacks on this guy are disturbing. Not that long ago one of the leading forms of medicine was to bleed people so that the balance of humors(bodily fluids) in their body could be restored. That's partly how George Washington died. Soon enough our current medical practices will look just as barbaric.

 Medicine makes wild progress in very little time and are many massive initiatives worldwide lead by different people to work on curing all diseases within the next decades. AI's recent recursive learning breakthroughs lead me to believe this will inevitably end in major success for humanity.
