Solipsism - You will only have your perspective- forever

Yes but you are conscious of being a person, not a rat. Where is the consciousness of being a rat? Out of your consciousness, right? Then there is consciousness out of your field of consciousness

A rat's conciousness is your conciousness

There is only something outside of your field of conciousness if you haven't realized your conciousness to be infinite.

If you look deep inside yourself enough you will end just as much on the outside as the inside.

Sure but there are still rats with rat consciousness. You could realize that being is unlimited, but this doesn't means that you as a form is the only form that exist.

Who is generating the realities?

It simply is not direct because it requires interpretation.

Yeah, okay, when?

As far as I can tell, its only when some doubter or hater questions what they think is an assumption on your part instead of direct knowledge of what experience truly is which, coincidentally, is the same thing any guru worth their salt has told you for the last 3000 years - its just You and its just God.  It certainly requires no conceptual or interpreting work as that knowledge rolls over you like an avalanche.

Truth doesn't require interpretation.  It just requires acknowledgement.  You either know what the truth is or you don't.  You either accept the revelation or don't.

I can't prove to you that I love my cat but I know that I do.  In my personal experience, its direct.  Im not interpreting anything when we are having a bonding moment.  So if you have any doubts that I love and bonded to my pets and I want to counter that thing you don't know that I do know I will have to start interpreting my personal direct experience with the use of concepts because that's how passing on information works in the relative.

You're refuting it on the grounds its a concept with an interpreted framework behind it but you're not really giving us the option when you tell us we don't or can't know what we already know and force us into concepts and interpretation with your skepticism - and then use it against us.

Me and 'people' I meet.

Words are pointing to something that's why they work.

I m tired of little rabbit still stuck in primary langage post modernism belief too.

If I tell you there is a steak in my plate, there is a fucking thing in it, whatever that might be.

When you are in deep meditation and the world no longer exists, there will always be someone to hold it in place.

-Just my perspective.

When the secret is revealed to you, you will know that you are not other than God, but that you yourself are the object of your quest.

If this cannot be answered - more contemplation is required.

Consider that to reach a state of being, one must be outside of all thought and concept. This harkens right back to Zen. And its often the case we think we are above these sorts of traditional teachings - but its also more often the case what was really being said was overlooked.

Trouble arises when we have something to prove - this usually impedes true listening.

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

Great so can you explain what being "outside" of all thought and concepts is like experientially without using thoughts or concepts?  I only ask because that seems to be this forums big pet peeve anytime someone points to that thing that can't be rationally explained.

Someone crafts a signpost to point to the unexplainable (the miracle beyond words, thought and concepts) only to be refuted on the grounds that the signpost is constructed of words, thoughts and concepts - as if there was another option - which there isn't.  Otherwise gurus would have to get real jobs.

That's all very convenient for the contrarians but it would be nice if they finally got around to explaining how every solipsist is basically a mental case because they can't bring Being outside of all thought and concept to the world of thoughts and concepts wherein we can only communicate metaphysical knowledge by metaphor.

This is where I refer you to a practice (I assume you have one). Or perhaps Peter Ralsons works - books - to assist. Leo's booklist has fantastic material for this.

One just needs to be clear regarding what IS, outside of all thought, belief, conceptualisation.

You're not following me.  The stuff you're referencing is for people who haven't figured it out yet and in plenty of cases secretly never want too.  Im talking about those that have experienced the deepest and most profound truth about the big mystery and accurately describe direct experience of Absolute Truth as 'solipsism'.  Who are then subjected to what amounts too bush league snark.

My beef is saying solipsism is heavily dependent (and just about negated) on thoughts and concepts than direct experience when the thoughts and concepts are being employed to metaphorically explain the direct experience which can't be communicated to "another" without the use of thoughts and concepts.  That's not the solipsists fault.  Everyone else has to work out their own salvation.

It would be more honest and courteous to say 'I haven't had that experience' instead of 'solipsism is essentially bullshit'.

@Willy Phallicus oh I understand you.

There's a leap you are making that might not be clear. And it seems words from me cannot illustrate this. C'est la vie
